"Great choice!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

"Good mid-price choice"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.
"2 nights in Vancouver."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.

"Rosellen was cozy"
My Wife and I stayed at the Rosellen Suites At Stanley Park for the specific purpose of adventures at Stanley Park. It was older than most hotels but it was very cozy and have the 2 bedroom suite made the 1,000 sq ft of space very spacious comfortable. We loved the location and it was very quite since it is snug in the middle of the neighborhood. Nice […] Job by the manager Kent and staff for making the stay very enjoyable. My wife and I plan to stay there again. Sincerely, Jorge and Jenny Read more
"Rosellen Suites Vancouver"
The Hotel is really nicely situated, a nice size and comfortable with really friendly service. The only negative comment is that it really needs to be updated decoratively. It is quite worn and looks a tiny bit shabby. I stayed at the Rosellen 20 years ago and the decor has not changed. It is, however, very comfortable and good value and friendly, […] friendly service. ".. eh it's ok for the prices"
The rooms are older 2 bedroom apartment. Pretty much all the chairs had stains, the fixtures and overall trimmings seem to be falling apart. The rooms are old school boiler room heated, as there was NO heater controls. The only way to warm up was with a blankent, a small space heater they tucked in a closet or a hot shower. So for a pretty basic […] room, for a family and kids, this might be a budget place. For younger couples or more trendy people, this place pretty much lacks in luster. Read more
"Excellent way to have 2 bedrooms!"
I was meeting my son in Vancouver, and this provided us each with a private bedroom, small kitchen, and living room/dining room. It was more room than we needed, but nice to have. The location is very nice. There is a path directly into Stanley Park at the end of the block, and Denman Street is 3 blocks away with lots of restaurants and a bus that goes […] the length of downtown along Robson St. The only complaint I would have is the kitchen is dated and is not equipped for much cooking, though we didn't cook anyway as we were only there 2 nights. For a longer stay I would have wanted more pots, pans, etc. Overall, I was very pleased. The price through Hotels.com was very good; better than renting 2 single rooms at the cheapest hotel. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite that was very nicely appointed. I was more like an apartment than a hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great being near Stanley Park and very close to a number of good restaurants. If driving make sure there is parking in the garage, street parking is very limited. Definitely would stay […] there again. Read more
"Nice enough, but dated"
This place is close to Stanley Park (where the Aquarium, among other things, is located), 2nd Beach (on English Bay), and the Davie Street area, but I didn't think it was worth the money. The sofa was 20+ years old; there was a burn mark on the kitchen counter, and the suite look tired (the drapes were hard to open and close and since there was no AC […] and it was 85 where we were there, that was more than a trivial nuisance). No food is available, except two blocks away in the neighborhood. On the plus side, the West End is a nice neighborhood and has many restaurants, but it would be nice to have something in the hotel for breakfast (I'm spoiled by American chains and hotels in France, Germany, and other places with continental breakfasts available). Also on the plus side: the people running the place are very nice, and let you use their computer. Read more
"The Rosellen Suites at Stanley Park - Great"
This hotel was truly a great experience. The location was perfect for visiting Stanley Park and wandreing around downtown. The staff was the best and the suite offered all the comforts of home. We were able to check in early after disembarking our cruise and take a nap before heading out for lunch and an afternoon at Stanliey Park. My husband travels […] frequently for business and he really appreciated the homey atmosphere. We would not hesitate to recomment this hotel and will surely stay there the next time we visit Vancouver. Read more
"Rosellen Suites at Stanley Park"
Great location 1/2 block from Stanley Park and 2 blocks from Denman Street in the West End -- excellent local shopping, restaurants and supermarket. A bus ride or so from a lot of the usual tourist attractions, but even the Stanley Theatre (live theatre) was only a $15 taxi ride. Downtown was considered to be a good walk, we did it in about 15-20 minutes. […] Units were very well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Read more
"Quiet and well situated near park & restaurants"
Overall pleasant, complaints were a very firm and older matress and price for parking. Located on the first floor near the entry was not ideal and introduced some amount of outside noise. But having Stanley Park a block away with its nice paths was a big plus.
"Wonderful stay"
We really enjoyed out stay and have recommeded this hotel to several friends already! Our suite was like a one bedroom apartment. There were extra pillows and blankets and plenty of towels. The kitchen had every thing we needed. The room was quiet and comfortable. The location is great - I always stay in the westend - we jogged in Stanley Park in the […] morning ( 1 block from the hotel). Read more
"Spacious"
More of an apartment than a hotel room. Well equipped with kitchen utensils, etc. No view though, only four floors so it just looks out on surrounding buildings.
"Great little hotel"
We found the Rosellen suites a very comfortable and friendly little hotel tucked away in a quiet part of the west-end of Vancouver, yet just a few blocks from restaurants, Stanley Park and the water front of English Bay. This little gem is all you need, to stay ,enjoy the city and not break the budget.

"The Rosellen Suites at Stanley Park"
We recently have had an extended stay at the Rosellen Suites. We had stayed in the past and enjoyed the hotel so thought we would stay again when visiting Vancouver for a couple of weeks. The rooms are spacious (they are apartment size with full kitchens), the staff are very friendly and add to the stay with there helpfulness. The rooms are kept clean […] and the room comes with everything needed to cook and eat meals if you choose to eat in. The hotel is steps away from Stanley Park, Denman and Robson Street. We like the area for its variety of restaurants and the fact that you feel safe walking in the neighborhood at night. I can say this is the only hotel we will stay in when visiting Vancouver (I travel with my 15 year old daughter) in the future. Read more

"Great hotel!"
I loved the location of this hotel to Stanley Park. It only takes mere minutes to walk there. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Tons of restaurants of every variety on Denman which is only a couple opf blocks away. The only complaint I would have is the fact that the carpet is very worn and the windows are in desparate need of replacing. […] Other than that I would recommend it to anyone, especially families due to the full kitchen. Read more
"THE ROSELEN SUITES IN VANCOUVER"
NICE LOCATION, ARBORIZED STREET, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL EMPLOYEES.
"Great night near Stanley Park"
I stayed here for a night while visiting Vancouver. It ended up being shorter walk to the park than I had thought. The room was very nice with plenty of space. The staff were friendly and actually printed a map of a store I was trying to find. The internet was a little slow, and I had a problem closing the living room windows, but aside from that, everything […] was fantastic. I slept with the bedroom windows open and could hear the birds chirping all night. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. I'd definitely stay again if in Vancouver. Read more
"Ruhige und tolle Lage"
Ich und meine Tochter waren im Oktober 2011 für eine Woche in Vancouver B.C. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig und liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum sehenswerten Stanley Park, so dass man auch nach einem stressigen Stadtbummel noch schnell naturnahen Ausgleich haben kann. Die Hotelsuite war sehr geräumig und sauber. An manchen Stellen ( Kaminsims, Küchenschränkte […] ) blätterte schon etwas die Farbe ab. Die Fenster sind nicht so dick und gut erhalten, wie wir es in Deutschland gewohnt sind, es tat dem guten Gesamteindruck aber keinen Abbruch. Insgesamt also gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Hotelbelegschaft ist besonders freundlich. Read more
