Loved it.Genuine Expedia guest review
My mother and sisters stayed two nights at Junipine and throughly enjoyed our weekend retreat! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating ( although I wish we had been told about the in-room massage availability at check-in instead of seeing the sign as we were checking out!). The condo was very clean and stocked with everything we needed including […] enough firewood for a couple of cozy night fires. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of in this gorgeous canyon location. We will visit again and recommend your resort to our friends. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay! "Beautiful, Quaint Property... Love it!"
I came to the resort for some personal "me time" to relax, reflect, and rejuvenate. My suite/unit was superb in every way. I felt comfortable and safe on the property at all times. The staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming. They went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. This most certainly is my new place […] of peace and retreate in Sedona. Big thanks to all the staff and owners of this lovely resort. keep up the good work! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great stay in Oak Creek Canyon!"
Excellent stay in a wooded, forest-type setting; wonderful accommodations in Oak Creek Canyon, just outside the Sedona city limits.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great cabin in the woods!"
We loved the cabin in the woods feeling, the fireplace stocked with wood every day, nice décor, and full kitchens. Staff was very helpful, and our stay was wonderful. Beautiful views of the woods and Oak Creek, and easy hiking trails along the creek. Very peaceful and quiet.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great for a group."
The Junipine worked out great for us, a family group of adults, with space to hang out as well as to spread out. It's about a 15 minute drive from the town of Sedona, which was not too much, and was even something of a relief after all the traffic and noise in town. Full kitchen was very convenient for snacks, suppers and breakfasts.Genuine Expedia guest review
condo definitely needs some upgrading - ceiling fan makes loud clicking noise as it rotates, carpet is old, oven door gasket falling off, TV's out of the 70's. Just an old tired look and feel.Genuine Expedia guest review
The place is amazing. We had a great time and will be back againGenuine Expedia guest review
"Quiet location in Oak Creek"
We expected the Junipine to be nice, but we were pleasantly surprised to find a very comfortable, well-furnished condo for our weekend. We stayed in a condo away from Oak Creek but we were still very close and very much enjoyed the beautiful setting. The resort is located about a 10 minute drive from Sedona allowing us to get away from the busy tourist […] center to a quiet, secluded location north of town. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Wonderful Stay and Memorable Experience!"
My girlfriend, (now Fiance) and I, stayed here and could not have been more happy. The home (as this did not feel like a hotel in anyway), was right on the creek, which was amazing. It was on the trail that runs right along the creek behind the home, that on a early morning hike, I proposed to my girlfriend. The scenery and experience was beautiful […] and memorable, couldnt have turned out better! I researched alot of other places to stay and ultimately chose this location and would definitely again and again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Wanted to Stay Longer"
Junipine Resort is perfect in every way. My husband, son and I planned 2 nights at Junipine. We checked in very late (2 A.M.) and were attended to promptly and with utmost respect and professionalism. The moment we unlocked the door to our condo, we felt the wow! The grounds are lush, gorgeous, tranquil and perfect and the accommodations matched. Modern, […] spacious, clean comfortable and tastefully decorated. "Disappointed with Junipine"
We did a lot of online searching prior to committing to Junipine Resort in the Sedona, Arizona area. We were very excited that the Resort provided fishing and hiking on the property. Additionally, it advertised "River View or Creek View" Condos. So we committed to a 4 day and 3 night stay at Junipine. The first day we arrived an hour early, and were […] allowed to check-in early (this was a plus). Once in the condo, everything was looking up, nice décor, and very clean. As I enter the rear patio deck with excitement and ready to see the Creek as was advertised, and I paid the extra money for the "View", I was disappointed that there was no view of the creek. You could hear the creek, but there was no view. On day two we shared our concern over the creek view issue, but nothing was resolved. We went on to ask where the fishing spot was, and was told that there were two areas: one was a catch and keep, and the second was a catch and release. Wow.....the excitement of fishing was overwhelming, only to be disappointed again. The only fish we found were minnows. Talked to the staff, their reply was that they usually stock the fishing holes. On the third day we went looking for the hiking trails that were advertised, only to find that there was only one. Overall, the short vacation that I had planned to fish and hike, was a total let down. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Excellent for a long relaxing stay"
Great hiking trail nearby right next to Oak Creek. Rooms are essentially time shares so include kitchen. There's no air conditioning but it gets quite chilly in the evening so it's not necessary.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Junipine resort - pros/cons"
Pros- newly Renovated. Room was amazing. Had a 2 bedroom unit (#36) w a loft. 1 mile from Slide Rock State Park which is a MUST do in Sedona!!! FYI Cafe is closes on Monday. If this is important. Small Grocery store 1 mile north of resort. Only concern- we went in July so it was about 100 degrees. It cooled down to 75 after midnight The units do NOT […] have Air Conditioning so it was a bit uncomfortable (in MY opinion) until unit cooled down. Just surprised since I did not know that there was no A/C. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great getaway from the heat in Phoenix!"
Spent one night in unit 24. Rustic decor felt very warm and welcoming. Loved sitting on the deck listening to Oak creek flowing by. Perfect for group of six. We had eight and used the sofa sleeper. It was very, very flimsy & uncomfortable - not recommended. Kitchen well stocked with dishware and utensils. Bathrooms are updated & clean. Our kids loved […] exploring up and down the creek. We also loved that we could check out DVDs and board games at the front desk. Some in the group felt it was stuffy at night. We fan ceiling & floor fans. Overall - great experience! "Mountains, Creeks and Beautiful Rooms"
The Junipine was a hotel located a bit north of Sedona. It is located in a beautiful reserve and our cabin looked out to a splendid sunset and a beautiful creek surrounded by canyons. We ate at the restaurant and then went into Sedona for a Pink Jeep tour. The hotel, the jeep tour, walking and exploring were fabulous. We will be back.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Junipine resort is great"
Junipine resort is located 8 miles north of Sedona. The temperature was a few degrees cooler which was great as it was 97 in Sedona. The creek and mountain view was great, we sat on the deck for many hours listening to the water and admiring the view. Food at the cafe was good and every one who worked there was very nice to talk too, very helpful. We […] walked to trail from the resort, following the river, went for a swim in a deep pool not far away, great on a hot day. The owners of the suite we stayed could spend a little money on upgrading a few things. I am sure it gets used often, the carpets need a good clean, and a few bucks on lighting would help. We really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the Junipine resort to anyone staying in the Sedona area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Nice, peaceful place to stay. You can hear the water of the nearby creek and see the gorges. For breakfast, the pecan french toast was great, The food prices were really reasonable, and the restaurant staff was attentive and very kind.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Quiet, Serene and Peaceful"
Not your typical hotel, but rather a series of roomy 2-story townhouses with large outdoor decks. It's like the cabin you wish you owned. Ours overlooked Oak Creek which you could hear and see below with a view of trees and some of the famous Sedona red cliffs beyond. Quiet, serene and peaceful, I wanted to curl up with a book instead of sight-see. […] Hotel staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Worth it just for the fire in the fireplace and room service breakfast on the deck the next morning. What a wonderful place. So peaceful and relaxing. I will certainly be backGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The condo was perfect. Location of Junipine is in the mountains, cool, shaded and delightful. We like the fact that it was away from the hustle bustle of downtown Sedona. Well equipped with anything needed in the kitchen. It was like having our own summer home. It was really nice being able to cook at home one night and sit out on the deck.Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel was beautiful. We got a remodeled room and everything was remodeled and beautiful. It had a loft with two extra beds upstairs. All of the appliances and decor were brand new, and the room had everything we needed. There isn't room service everyday, but that was okay by us! Staff was friendly, and the views were beautiful and about a 10 minute […] drive into town. Would highly recommend staying here. Very romantic. Felt at home here! Well worth the money! "Quiet but remote"
We enjoyed the quiet, restful ambience of these creekside condos, but found it inconvenient to Sedona. Although it is only seven or eight miles, it can be a half hour drive through the canyon. It was a shame that the restaurant was closed so early in the day and not open on Mondays.Genuine Expedia guest review
Enjoyed staying at this location among the Pine trees and near Oak Creek. Would come back again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Disappointed in unit #11"
The "house" we got this time was outdated with green plastic mini blinds and dirty green carpet. I was very disappointed since we have stayed here before and the unit we were assigned then was completely updated and very luxurious. We brought a guest from France this time who owns two hotels and so I was of course embarrassed of the condition of this […] unit compared to the one I had raved about. The manager explained that each unit is individually owned. The downside is that you pay the same amount for each type of room ( Forest View or Creek View) but rates do not fluctuate depending on the condition of the property. It did have a nice view but I would have rather had the updated unit. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comforts of Home"
Overall, I would rate this hotel "Outstanding". The staff was lovely and the accommodations were excellent. The only thing I did feel was slightly misleading was the "creek side" upgrade. I would have never paid the extra money. There was a creek at the bottom of a steep cliff with a tiny glimpse of water through bushes. There was no way I would have […] been able to even walk down to it. I would stay there again, but I'd book the "forest view". Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for families and couples!"
The only negative about this area was that we could not get any cell service for our phones. They said it was available, but all 3 families we were with could not get any service. Otherwise it was a great place to stay. Very comfortable. Rooms with A kitchen and fireplace. It was more like staying in a condo with a living room and deck also. It was […] 8 miles from the town, or center of everything, which was about 20 minutes on beautiful ,scenic mountain roads. Ate dinner at the restaurant which was very good also. Went to the local food store and bought breakfast supplies and ate in the room each morning. Worked out great. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Cabin getaway with fireplaces."
Very nice location, lots of large trees, with a creek running along behind the cabin type individual rooms. Nice and clean. Bathroom was a touch small, but had a vanity area outside the shower/tub area which was a nice addition. Very comfy bed and linens. Fireplace in bedroom, ready to light. Also fireplace in living/dining room, again ready to light. […] Firewood and kindling stacked for your use right next to it. Workable kitchen, but we only stayed one night and were visiting friends, so only used the coffeepot. Overall, nice experience and would stay again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Excellent mostly secluded rooms"
Pros - Lot of space, 2 Bedrooms, 2 bath, living area and kitchem. - Oak Creek is gorgeous - Clean, well maintained, frendly staff - Kichen with full appliances and utensils very useful. Con: Free WiFi was very week in our house. Only some devices would connect and then would intermittently disconnect (tablets and laptops connected intermittently, but […] cell phones would not connect to WiFi at all). We weren't there for broadband connectivity, but a more reasonable WiFi signal would be nice given the very sporadic cell service in the area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
