We were happy with hotel overall with the exception of no Internet or WiFi service. Made it somewhat difficult to plan/choose hikes, restaurants and excursions. We had breakfast at resort twice and that was very good.

Junipine is outside of downtown Sedona, but the drive up and down the mountain has incredible views. Our rooms were very nice, the kitchen was great, bathrooms clean, parking was close to our unit. Very convenient that they have a cafe as well. Will definitely return to Junipine.

My husband and I were celebrating our 16 year anniversary, plus a new bundle of joy on the way. We didn't really know what to expect with Junipine, so when we first walked into our "house", we were floored with how spacious and clean everything was. I was so excited to see that there was a fireplace in both the living room and our bedroom which we used […] at night... both of them! The creek view was breathtaking, and it was just so peaceful and relaxing. At night, we spent hours just sitting on the patio staring at the stars. I loved how spacious the bathroom was. It was nice to be able to get ready in an area where there wasn't a toilet as the toilet area had it's own sink and separate from the vanity area. The loft was so cute even though we didn't utilize it. There were two twin beds and a tv and a gorgeous skylight. I can't wait to bring our daughters back! You truly are "unplugged" there since we had no cell phone reception, and the wifi SUCKED, but it was a blessing as we were able to enjoy each other and our surroundings, and I honestly didn't miss the world. The food from the cafe was "ok" but we will be cooking our own food when we return in the fully-stocked kitchen. We were just so happy to be there that we had literally no complaints. Well, that's not true. The only complaint we had was that we only stayed for one night. We can't wait to go back. Read more

I stayed for an overnight in a 2 bedroom creekview house. The view from the deck was beautiful and so relaxing. The house was very clean and in good condition. I would request the same room again and a creekview is a must-worth the extra charge! Wish I could have stayed longer.

Located North of Sedona on route 89A, the Junipine is beautifully sited, and we found the area to be quiet and peaceful. The hotel is 15 - 20 minutes outside of town depending on traffic, which we found to be perfect. Our room was very nice, with comfortable furnishings and a full kitchen. The Junipine Resort was a very nice place to stay and the Oak Creek Canyon is beautiful. The staff at the hotel were courteous and very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. We have traveled extensively and this rates as one of the best.

Junipine Resort was so much more than I expected - peacefully secluded from the tourism of Sedona, yet easy to get to town. Had some difficulty finding it since I didn't realize it was 6 miles outside of Sedona. If I'm ever back in the Sedona area, this will be the place I'll be.

I wanted to give a 4.5 star....only reason is beacuse the advertisement picture shows an updated room, and ours was definitely not, but we chose the less expensive location, and were very happy with what we got. The location is fantastic, the restaurant very good, the space in the unit is amazing, and the decks were fabulous. We have been telling everyone […] we know to stay here, perfect family location, and wonderful service. The kids loved bounding over the rocks and exploring the river. Slide rock park is only a mile away, and even though it was cold in april, was so worth seeing, If you choose the less expensive option, just know your unit will have older furnishings, but all locations are great, plenty of greenery, quiet, and large sized units. I went to Junipine for my sister's bachelorette weekend. We had five people in our party, and the two-bedroom condo was perfect for us. There were two large bedrooms (one king & two queens) plus a loft with two twin beds. The common area/living room was ideal for hanging out before heading into town.

The staff were friendly, and extremely helpful with reccomendations of places to visit and hikes that would be appropriate for our 5 and 10 year old. There is a hiking path right on the grounds that is enjoyable as well. […] One of my favorite things about the Junipine was it's location. It is about 8 miles, up the canyon, from Sedona. It was nice to be away from the touristy town and in the beautiful canyon by Oak Creek. The location made it convenient for day trips to Flagstaff, The Grand Canyon, Williams (Bearizona-great drive thru wildlife park!), The West Fork hiking trail and Walnut Canyon, to name a few. Although the location of Junipine Resort is a bit outside of central Sedona, the area where it sits is so peaceful on Oak Creek. Just came back from staying at Junipine (3/16/12). The resort is beautifully located next to wonderful Oak Creek. We stayed in #37. It was fantastic! A wood fireplace with a fire all laid and ready to set a match to. The beds are amazing and the master shower is simply spectacular. The house (as they called it) was beautiful - far bigger than I expected. The view from the deck was spectacular and the fireplace in the living room was gorgeous. We used the fireplace at night and again in the morning. I would happily go back again with kids next time if I get a chance!
