The hotel was decent. They have the Sleep Number bed, which I determined I don't care for during my stay here; personal preference, I know, as many people seem to like it. The bathroom was very small - the door barely cleared the toilet and unless you want it banging against your leg while in there it needs to be closed - and you have to step all the […] way in between the toilet and sink to close the door. The patio door was next to impossible to open, and I had to open it a crack (even in December in Calgary) because there was something wrong with the thermostat in the room and it was sweltering hot. On the plus side, the TV didn't have that annoying hotel menu that hotels seem to like and it had wired internet that was actually a pretty decent speed; probably the best internet connection I've had in a hotel in the last year. The hotel seems a little worn out. My room wasok, but my shower was terrible. It was either very hot or very cold.

We got a sale deal and it was worth the price. The hotel was quiet a distance from the airport but still accessible to downtown and some eateries nearby. The hotel itself had no decent eateries for families and that gift shop was highway robbery! We just stayed the night so it worked for us.

The adjustable air bed was nice and easy to use. This is the first time we tried one and really like it.

Clean, comfortable and quiet - 10 minutes from the airport, right off the main highway. If you like Thai food, check out the White Elephant restaurant in the nearby Best Western hotel...it's fabulous!

The website says the pool and spa are closed for renovation and a few other public areas. This shld include the rooms, on our table was a letter with a list of the things in the room that will be repaired in the future like the balcony sliding door that didnt open, the bathroom was kindof dirty. I think the rooms should be drastically reduced in price […] or not rented until fixed. Read more

Restauarant had refrigeration problems and therefore limited menu. Not much in the neighborhood but there was a Dennys that was OK. It took an incredible amount of time to get hot water on the 9th floor - apparently the property was built without hotwater circulators to the higher floors - big waste of water.

The public areas of the hotel are very nice. the front desk staff was friendly and professional. my room had not been cleaned well in a long time. the floor, walls in the bathroom were dirty. the bathtub did not drain and the surface was stained and mildewy. hallway was always full of dirty dishes. the neighbourhood was a bit questionable, but i had […] no problems. the hotel's proximity to deerfoot trail and 16th ave makes it a practical place to stay. the price of this room should, at minimum, guarantee the guest a clean room. We arrived straight off a flight from the UK without our baggage, which had gone astray. This meant we had to abandon plans to camp in Banff NP as we didn't have our camping equipment. We bumped in Richard, the hotel's Regional Manager and he was extremely helpful, advising us where to go in Banff and sorting out alternative accommodation. Hotel had 2 different New Year parties going on, but we only wanted to go to dinner and watch TV in our room. Property is an older building, but very well maintained. Check in was fast, room was very clean and although furnishings/carpet was old, everything was in excellent condition and very clean. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. […] When we got to our room, the bed was off the rail, but maintenance was up within 5 minutes and fixed it, then housekeeping was also there quickly to make up the bed. It was very nice to have a couch in the room as well. We had New Year's eve dinner in the Botanica restaurant, and the food was excellent, although the service was slow, but this was probably because most of the staff was either off for the night, or serving at the big hotel parties. The sleep number beds were interesting, and a nice idea, although you have to play around with the soft/hardness levels to make sure you are comfortable. The location of the hotel is very good, and access to Deerfoot Trail (the main North/south artery) is very helpful. We would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to anyone. Read more

First visit to Calgary. Hotel is close to airport, U of Calgary, and not that far of a drive to downtown. So many restaurants nearby. Excellent experience. Highly recommend this hotel.

Don't be dissuaded by the look of this hotel; it lives up to the Radisson name once you enter and everything was great. Nice (Sleep Number) bed with a great view of the city and a clean bathroom with excellent amenities (e.g., shampoos, etc.). Service was friendly and the restaurant looked great (though we ordered room service - good food!). With a name like "Raddison Airport", we thought this hotel would be near the airport. The shuttle was free, but it wasn't very close to the airport. We had very noisy neighbors, which wasn't the hotel's fault, and they tried twice to quiet them down. Next time they assured us they would have called the police. The hotel was very easy to find because it was just to the side of the highway. It was easy to get into the city and return nightly and direction was not an issue. Cross Iron Mills is a must see for shopping. The Zoo is also a good place to go. The hotel had an excellent restaraunt, with a pool and hot tub, sauna. THE STAFF AT THE DESK WENT OVERBOARD TO ASSIST US IN ALL OUR NEEDS - IF I WANTED TO GO SOMEWHERE THEY WOULD PRINT OUT A MAP OR OFFER TO TAKE ME IN THEIR SHUTTLE. THE POOL AND HOT TUB WERE SOME OF THE BEST I'VE EVER BEEN IN.

Great hotel close to the airport.

A very acceptable place to stop over when traveling. Prompt service from airport shuttle drivers and friendly, efficient staff. Restaurant was fine.

The hotel is "fine". It's not a bad hotel, but not great. We chose it in part because it allowed pets. But we were put on a top floor and there was not a great place for a dog to go outside. Also, it is a bit noisy with the highway nearby.

booked a double bed room and found a single queens size bed. Hotel staff blamed it on mistake in the inventory. Air conditioning was sub optimal and the hotel engineering said that one of the chillers was out. Pick up from Calgary airport was quick and very courteous.

We generally had a restful time and even though the room was small for four people we made the best of it.

A bargain during stampede week, easy access to the city and the airport. Not sure about the sleep number beds, after three sleeps, still didn't have a comfy bed. Elevators being repaired and they need it - stops at every floor going up and down. Reception staff very helpful, food in restaurant surprisingly good for breakfast and dinner or use Denny's […] next door. Read more

An average Airport hotel. Nothing fancy, and in need of some maintenance, but overall it was a good deal considering the costs of hotels in Calgary.

The revamp has done this hotel a world of good. The service from the front desk to room service is always friendly and welcoming. Like the Sleep Number Bed and having an actual working sliding door for outside air.....a real rarity! Will stay again, happily.

My stay was very good. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel and it way exceeded our expectations. The pool was small but we had it to ourselves so that was nice. The outside of the hotel looked a little unkept but inside was amazing! I think it was probably just an older building.

My wife & I found everything to be perfect. The location is supper for catching planes and for getting air shipments from Air Cargo.

For us coming from BC to catch a plane the location of the hotel is very convenient. As you can see from above we were very satisfied with everything the hotel had to offer. Not mentioned above is the shuttle to the airport. We found it to be very convenient & very well run. Drop off & pick up was super. The restaurant & the bar was very good.

The room was a double with queen sleep number beds. One of the remotes for the bed did not work properly. The floor in the bathroom was dirty and remained dirty for our entire stay(4 days). The bathtub was not clean when we arrived. One of the table lamps electrical cord was repaired with wire caps and black tape. The room itself was cramped no fridge. Hotel […] amenities were OK. The pool was adequate as was the hot tub. The supply of towels for the pool was lacking , we had to ask for towels everytime we went swimming The restaurant was expensive with a limited menu and the food was not that great ,we ate elsewhere alot. Overall for business travel this hotel is good but for families I would not recomend this hotel. Read more

I found the staff great and room clean with great TV and bed. I was greeted with a smile and checked out with a smile, looks like front desk like there job!

The first thing I noticed about my room after my check-in was that it was not very warm. This was the first real cold day of winter with the temperature in the minus teens and there was a cold wind blowing from the north. My room faced north and there was a cold draft going through my room. I raised the heat up to 22C but it still did not warm the room […] that much. Maybe it felt warm for a few minutes right after the fan came on but when it shut off, it didn't take long for it to be cold again. I also was not too impressed with the breakfast I had in my room in the morning. I was expecting a 'traditional' breakfast of eggs, sausages, hashbrowns and toast. What I got were two eggs, two small sausages, and hash browns which were covered with sour cream and green onions and the toast. And when all the charges were added up for this, the cost was almost $20. I doubt that I will ever return to this hotel. Read more

Raddison Hotel Calgary OUR STAY WAS VERY GOOD WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDED , STAFF WERE PLEASENT AND VERY HELPFULL WOULD CONSIDER STAYING AGAIN WHEN WE ARE IN CALGARY NEXT TIME . THANK YOU . THOUGH A GOOD DISTANCE FROM AIRPORT , SHUTTLE PROVIDED WAS VERY HELPFULL TO AND FROM HOTEL TO AIRPORT AND BACK

In almost all ways the accomodation came up to our expectations. The only criticism could be that the air conditioner made enough noise that we turned it off. This should be tempered by the fact that we do not have one in our bedroom at home so it stood out.

The hotel was easy to find in a nice area. The hotel was pleasantly decorated. The only problem was that the toilet was broken but it was promptly fixed.

if you book a room with hotels.com, make sure you check the amounts of beds. I did some online reservations for 2 adults and a 6 year old. at the hotel, the room had only one bed. the manager arranged a room change for free. just want to let you know.
