"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.
"Affordable Quickie in NY"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We had a very good time and the hotel was close to work.
""Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.
"Nice hotel in the theatre district"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very nice hotel in the theatre district. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic room accomodations but very clean. Would recommend.

"Would definitely stay here again!"
I didn't know what to expect when I came here, but my fiance and I were treated with such great service from the moment we arrived at the door, to the moment we left! Staff was polite: always there to greet you, open the door for you, and offer assistance. The main thing I look for in a hotel is service... and I give it 5 stars. Not only is the service […] wonderful, but the ambiance of the entire hotel was stunning. The hotel rooms were a little on the dim side, but that's nothing that can't be fixed. Just open the curtains and turn on the lights! It was well-maintained, very clean, and modern. Overall a very comfortable place to sleep at. As far as the lobby and bar area... LOVE IT! A nice spot to relax and grab a cocktail. Oh, and did I mention the service was great?! Can't stress that enough. Lastly, the location of the hotel was exactly what I was looking for. It's close (within short walking distance) to several main subway trains... So it was easy to get around Manhattan. Overall, I enjoyed my time here in New York, and would definitely stay at the Tribeca Grand Hotel if I were to come back! Read more

"Short business trip - Tribeca Grand"
I have stayed at this address for a number of times and I am continually impressed with the ambience, quality of the rooms and the feel/look of this property. Keep going on.....
"Stylish - modern - dark"
Loved the location of this hotel (Tribeca) - felt like a safe neighborhood and not too far from the bargain shopping on Canal street (i.e., t-shirts & hoodies for the kids, scarves for me). I thought I booked a King Superior room - not sure what that meant. The bed was full size (fine for just one person) and the bedding was clean & comfy (i.e., white […] down comforter). If I was traveling with someone, a larger bed would be needed. The room was very comfortable, modern and efficient - plenty big by NY standards. The bed was comfortable - the toiletries were high quality. I liked the docking station for my iphone. Overall noise wasn't bad (pm was totally fine), but at 6:45 am it sounded like I could hear other showers running, etc. The hotel itself was very stylish - definitely hip, cool and modern, but a bit dark. Front desk staff was not particularly warm, but the male Concierge made up for it - extremely nice and very helpful. The Doorman was also helpful in storing luggage and retrieving a cab for the airport. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. It definitely has more character and style than any of the chain hotels in the same price range. 24 hr room service is always a bonus! Read more
"Anniversary"
Very enjoyable stay. My wife was very impressed!
"Fun and hip hotel"
My husband and I spent one night at the Tribeca Grand this past weekend. It was comfortable, pretty and well-located. Our bed was great, the room was nice and dark, the toiletries were lovely. We usually stay on the Upper West Side when we visit New York so this was a nice change of pace for us. Great breakfast restaurant, called Bread, across the […] street. Read more
"Tribeca Grand"
We had a nice stay and once you are a couple of blocks from the hotel you are in neat neighborhoods.
The hotel and staff were excellent! It was our first time in this area of NYC and we loved it. It was close to many restaurants, shops and landmarks. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
"TriBeCa Grand"
Hotel was very trendy yet comfortable. Staff were fun, welcoming, and attentive. It was my birthday - so they upgraded my room! Rooms were clean, large, and quiet - even though there was a Fashion Week party in the bar downstairs. Highly recommend and will def be returning!

Great hotel but took over 5 minutes to get hot water in the morning for a shower
"Solid Hotel"
This is a very good hotel. I've been so disappointed lately with trendy hotels in Manhattan that turn out to be dumps up close. Not the case here, the hotel was very clean, very comfortable and the staff is excellent and inviting. The price is terrific too. I really like and respect this hotel group. The lobby bar and restaurant is great.
"My Experience"
The Hotel was nice but the Valet Service Was Very discouraging! I waited on my car for over an hour & 42 mins. Service was excellent but the Rooms were not worth the price! I've stayed in some of the most exquisite hotels priced less cheaper. But again, Great Service, Great Location, Sexy Lobby but the rooms are just average!

"Tribeca Grand Hotel--next to E line"
The staff, other than one young woman, made a great effort to be courteous and helpful. The only time this failed was when there was a line at reception, and only one in three receptionists appeared to be helping customers ( the one woman completely oblivious). The rooms were fine but somewhat worn (beds comfortable though!) and too warm (even in winter). […] The entire place reminds me of a remote space docking station, complete with the elevators sounding like incoming spaceships. And the place is VERY dark, everywhere besides reception. This is definitely more for a young hip crowd who likes throbbing music at all hours. On the plus side, the breakfast was great, and nearly all emloyees willing to go out of their way for you. Very happy, would highly recommend this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and professional.
"New Year's Weekend!"
We had an absolute blast!
This was our second trip to the Tribeca Grand. Both times have been during the holiday season. We love it there. It is a high end hotel and we got such reasonable rates for that time of year. The staff was so great and the atmosphere made you wanting to never leave.

Hotel and staff were great! Room was upgraded upon arrival - beautiful corner king! We would go back in a heartbeat!
"Great for family and location"
More than what we expected. First rate hotel. Staff were very helpful and polite. Can't say enough for the staff. The location is awesome especially if you drive into manhattan. Its right off the Holland tunnel. So you don't have to zig zag uptown at all. Walking distance to ground zero and galleries. Its family friendly too and its surround area (Tribeca) […] are very family orientated . I would highly recommend the Tribeca Grand. Read more

Great experience, fun lounge/bar, professional and courteous staff. Looking fwd to going back.
"A White Noise Machine in Every Guest Room!"
Each room boasts a built-in guest controlled white noise machine. The elevator may still be heard beeping and groaning all night long. The irregularly shaped rooms may appeal to lovers of asymmetry. The broken standing lamp required two visits by Maintenance before it was switched. Relaxing? NO. Pleasant staff: yes. They too seem to marvel that anyone […] would stay here... Read more
"Tribeca Grand"
We had a really lovely stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was conveniently located near restaurants, etc. Room was small but clean; the shower great; the bed comfortable.
"Great Location &Comfortable Room but Street Noise."
Great location to Soho and TriBeCa!!! Great service, room service breakfast was prompt and delicious. Bring a fan or headphones to block out street noise. I was on the Church St. Side of hotel on 5th floor and sleeping was hard because of standard NYC street noise. However, I will probably stay again despite my 1 dislike.

"Tribeca Grand - a very tired hotel"
This is a very tired hotel. If they are trying to sell pizzazz, they are missing it by a wide mark. The lights are low -- maybe to hide the scruffiness? And the radio they have in the rooms is a crummy knockoff of a Sony that does not work. Tribeca's owners, let me know when you've put $20,000,000 into your infrastructure and I'll return.
"TribecaGrand - hippest scene and best service"
Check-in at TribecaGrand started off with a warm welcoming and a glass of complimentary champagne. The swanky hotel is in the Tribeca district of NYC; a clean and artsy place with lots of things to do. The lounge in the hotel is rated as one of the best in the city. Yet the accommodations are suitable for a family with youngsters or an elderly couple. […] Five stars. Read more

"Not a 4 star"
I love Manhattan, however I would not choose to come back to this hotel. The bed and pillow comfort is not a 4 star rating. Therefore the price we paid was too high. Bathroom was outdated, and the halls reminded me of a prison. The bar downstairs was very noisy.

"Our stay at the Tribeca Grand Hotel"
We totally enjoyed our stay at the Tribeca Grand Hotel. We liked having the coffee bar on the same floor as our room. The service and ambiance was exceptional. We will definently stay at this hotel again when we have the opportunity to come to New York City. Thank you.
"Overrated"
This hotel could be wonderful. The people who work there are well dressed, attractive BUT incompetent. I sat at the bar for 20 minutes one evening before anyone even acknowledged my presence. I asked for and was promised a paper delivery to my room on six consecutive days to no avail. It took them 15 minutes to prepare my bill when checking out and […] then it was incorrect. Too bad the staff is so bad. However, the doormen were excellent and helpful always. Read more
"Extra night1"
This was a great hotel - so good, in fact, that we checked back in 2 hours late!!
"Not sure what the fuss is all about!"
This hotel is in a great location however the condition of it is a bit run down and for the price I think you can do much better, I would rate the service in the resturaunt a 5 but the hotel accomodations a 3 and the room is too small!
"Tribeca Grand!"
We loved this placed so much that after checking out and wandering the neighborhood for a second day..and we checked right back in (on hotels.com of course!)! We got our pet goldfish and thoroughly enjoyed all - the room, the staff, the restaurants, the neighborhood.....everything!
"loved it!!"
Staff was super nice, especially the door/val ay boys-cute too;) Rooms and beds were clean. Decor fun and tasteful. We walked all over the place. Would definitely stay again.
"Tribeca Grand Hotel"
We simply loved it. They also recommended an excellent restaurant right around the corner. All around pleasant experience.
"Storm in NYC"
We stayed at the Tribeca Grand over a huge rain storm, water found its way inside our room. They very quickly move us to a nicer room and treated us to a very nice breakfast the day after. The front desk was very efficient and extremely nice, not to mention the maitre d at the restaurant was also fantastic. I will stay again at this hotel.
Nice hotel and great rate. Liked the champagne when we checked in...nice touch. Was disappointed the bar was under construction and we did not know it. Overall, a great spot in an awesome location.
