"Very convenient to convention center"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Friendly, competent staff, beautiful public spaces, great location if you're attending a conference at the Washington Convention Center. Room was a bit dated, had no safe or fridge, merely adequate bathroom.

Downtown DC is awash with culture. The Smithsonian Institution museum complex flanks the National Mall. The Washington Monument bisects the Mall, just south of the White House. Federal agency headquarters house bureaucrats of varying stripes. Moneyed and powerful lobbyists help create (and quash) laws from K Street. Chinatown and the Washington Convention Center lie east of downtown.
see all hotels in WashingtonGreat location for walking to the National Mall. Parking is in another building ($15/day for hotel guests) but not far away. Good to check out location first to make it easier to unload (no valet). Pretty good value, great little restaurant on site.

"Perfect for a business traveler"
The rooms are small - but it's DC, what else would you or should you expect. The space is efficiently used, however and there is plenty of bathroom counterspace. The lack of fuss with check in and check out is welcome. Staff were very curteous. Located steps from the Farragut West station, which is the one of the blue line stops and the blue line takes […] you right to Reagan airport - it's the most convenient location! Read more
"Do Not Eat In The Hotel Restaurant"
The rooms were adequate and reasonably priced, however we had breakfast in the hotel restaurant which was horrible. The coffee was old and I could not drink it, the eggs were scrambled from a powder mix and were very dry and bad tasting. The buffet they served was completely unacceptable for the price they charged. They did take off one of our meals […] but I would never eat there again. Also, they claim to have morning coffee on the second floor complimentary. Each morning the coffee was empty and I had to wait 10 to 15 minutes before they brought some Read more

"Convenient and comfortable"
The check-in was automated (although a receptionist was on duty) and very efficient; eco-conscious hotel; very comfortable bed; clean, well-equipped and quiet. There is a nice restaurant on site. Located in a very safe part of town, easy walk to sights and offices.
"Conveniently located. Great, Friendly Staff"
Great Value. Rooms were a little small but pretty good size considering the Hotel is in a downtown location & near the White House, Parks, Museums etc. Boutique like, and more caring than typical/chain Hotels. Restaurant in Hotel is friendly, good value and serves really good meals. Parking about 1.5 blocks away (hand-off to Valet in the parking area) […] is in a well lit area, safe and secure (probably because it is so close to the White House!!). Would, and will, definitely stay again. Read more
"Great for one person!"
This was much cheaper than other hotels in the area, and when I arrived, I saw why - the room was small. But it was perfect; I was traveling alone and I hardly needed a huge hotel room. It had a double bed and a comfortable bath, a desk, nightstand, and small closet. Free filtered water and open access to extra linen, iron, etc. Lobby staff was friendly […] and helpful. There was only one small negative...I lost my key IN THE ROOM (how? no idea!) and called downstairs to ask them to invalidate it in case I'd dropped it right outside the door. They said they would. Then I found the key, several hours later, and it still worked. It still worked the next day too. That gave me a little concern about security. But that was the only negative in a very positive experience. I would stay here again...and hopefully not lose my key :) Read more
"Perfect location."
I loved the hotel. The front desk staff was amazing and helpful. My only complaint would be of he service in the bar. The food was wonderful. The waiter was not attentive or interested in providing service to me.
"Quiet, convenient location, and comfortable"
If you want a small, well-kept hotel close to the main monuments, you'd do well to stay here. There's a nice restaurant-bar that connects to the hotel.
"Immaculate comfortable hotel, convenient location"

Club Room pleasant lounge & AM coffee. Reasonably priced for city accomodations. Club Quarters will be First choice for Washington visit or any other city.THANKS.

"Excellent Find in Farragut Square"
I used to live in DC and never even knew this hotel existed. It's a wonderful hotel run by EXTREMELY courteous and helpful staff. Great location, next to the Blue/Orange line, and 2 blocks from the Red Line. Can't really beat it.
"Nice Hotel"
A great location being right above a Metro stop. Rooms were not big, but big enough for sleeping and getting work done. Television wasn't very high quality. Complimentary bottled water was nice.

"Small but very convenient and great staff"
Who needs a spacious room when you are there on business or out sightseeing every day? Right above the Metro (couldn't hear it, don't worry) so could be anywhere in DC in a flash. Close to the Mall so had a great run. Front desk was outstanfing. Restaurant downstairs, great.
"Great location and value!"
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful! The location of this hotel is great - right at a metro stop and very close to most downtown attractions! They offer free internet, free chilled purified water on every floor - including a rack of new empty bottles for you to fill, and in a "living room" area there are computers, charging stations, snacks and […] a large screen TV. My room was small, but efficient and clean. My only "complaint" is that it was a room with little to no outside light as the one small window overlooked a light-well in the building and didn't get really any daylight per se. I would stay here again on my next visit to Washington DC! Read more

"And the restaurant downstairs..."
Yes, the room was small, but the location was great and the service was friendly and helpful. The second floor lounge was a comfortable supplement to the room space. The restaurant at street level was the nicest surprise. On Saturdays and Sundays, it features a 3 course prix fixe that was an excellent value. We ate late on a Sunday evening in one of […] the openings onto the sidewalk and couldn't have asked for better food, service or setting. Read more

"Modern and quaint"
Read a few reviews. We loved the hotel, right around the corner from the white house and close to everything. Hotel was clean and loved that it was modern and comfortable. Room was not huge but plenty room for 2. It had a stand up shower only which is fine with us, we wouldn't use a tub anyway. Bottom line is we plan on staying there again. One thing […] to keep in mind is that the hotel is in a business neighborhood. Read more
"Great Place!"
Very nice hotel with european feel. Great service and amenities at the right price.
"Nice"
Very good
"More than a pod, better than generic"
There are those who will gripe that Club Quarter rooms are small. In so doing, they neglect the efficiency of the rooms' appointments and design and the fabulous "Living Room" on the second floor with comp coffee, tea, spacious stretching out space to work, computers from which to print your boarding passes, extra pillows and towels and blankets and […] just about anything else you can think of. In short, I am completely sold on these adorable little hotels. Read more
"efficient service"
the hotel ran a one man desk, but they use technology to offer efficient service. I got checked in in 3 mins, and checked out in 10 seconds. clean rooms, though small. good locations, near a subway station of two main lines.
"Club Quarters DC - convenient and affordable"
Club Quarters DC is located above the Farragut West Metro Station at 17th and I Street. This is a business district which makes it great for weekend stays with no crowds. Convenient to the Mall, Georgetown, Chinatown and the Verison Center. Excellent restaurants in the neighborhood. Rooms just the right size for 2 people, friendly and helpful staff […] and plenty of amenities. A great value at their weekend rates. Read more

"Perfect for short stays"
No frills, clean and perfect for short stay. Staff very friendly and accomodating. No complaints at all.
"Very European"
This is a very nice hotel if you want to have an upscale European style room in the city. Parking is only $15 a night and one block away at a luxury garage. The hotel is also on a block patrolled by the Secret Service. So, it is very safe.

"Club Quaters Washington great location great price"
Club Quarters does it again. It is a great bargin and a great place to stay. The room was neat, clean, and well organized with everything I needed -- and more. I've stayed in Club Quarters in other cities and none have disapointed. The rooms are smallish, but I have no complaints. CQ was exactly where I wanted and needed it. I'll be back.
"The Club Quarter in DC - Very Quaint & Cozy"
The Club Quarter Hotel is located convienently near the Metro Station - The staff was very friendly. Just keep in mind that the hotel is kind of in a business district and most places close early on Saturday and most are closed on Sunday. Overall it was a great stay.

"Club Quarters"
I honestly would say that I am very disappointed with my stay at Club Quarters. Not only was the room not anything like I expected, the hotel staff was very accommodating to my needs. The "double beds" turned out to be 2 smaller than twin sized beds that were pushed together upon my arrival. I would not recommend this hotel even for the price.

"Club Quarters DC"
This property was as advertised. The room was cozy and comfortable. The only problem encountered was in finding an ironing board but the complimentary drinking water was an unexpected bonus.

Great location. Red line is one block, and blue and orange lines are under the hotel. Friendly staff and good food at the hotel. Rooms are small, but very well laid out and comfortable. Will stay here again.
"Club quaters, DC - small but great"
Small room but adaquate for two adults for a weekend. Parking is about two blocks away and a bit confusing at first but easy to deal with once u figure it out. Very close to the white house and the redline(subway) there is also a stop for the blue and orange lines below the hotel but it's only open on the weekdays. Overall a must stay if ur going to […] DC for national mall and white house visiting. Also there is good food nearby most available for delivery. Read more

"Good Price Not So Good Parking"
The room was kind of small but considering the price it was understandable. I didn't like the parking situation. You pay $15 to park and the garage is down the street so you have to walk to it. Overall it wasn't bad for the price.
"Great experience at Club Quarters!"
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Club Quarters. Everything was first-class, right down to the free bottles of water on each floor. The staff was tremendous, especially Kiuana at the front desk. She couldn't have been more helpful. There's no doubt that we'll be staying at the Club Quarters again next time we're in DC!

"Clean, Friendly staff and convenient"
From check in to check out, everything was perfect. Close to sights and transportation. Staff was cordial, helpful and friendly. It was just what I needed for the right price.
"Great location"
This hotel is in a great location and overall, was exactly what we were looking for. Close to both blue/orange lines and the red line and major bus routes. The street was noisy being that it was a weekend but what do you expect when you are staying in downtown DC. The room was small but perfect for a weekend stay.
