Dining on the Grand Canal next to the iconic Rialto Bridge is a romantic Venetian cliché. Near the bridge, the Ca’ Pesaro is home to the Museum of Modern Art while 16th-century masterpieces are on show at the Frari church and Scuola Grande di San Rocco.

This hotel was perfect for our stay. I'm the kind of person who likes 5* hotel, but being in Venice, my budget couldn't quite afford it. However, this hotel is perfect for a 2-3 night stay. The location is ideal and probably the best service I've ever experienced. Room is fine (lots of charactaer) and the price is fair. The only downside to it all is the breakfast, but it certainly wouldn't put me off staying in this hotel again.

Situated literally steps from the Rialto bridge, this hotel is an ideal base for exploring Venice. A doddle to find, the friendly staff welcomed us throughout our stay. The rooms are decorated in traditional Venetian style, adding to the ambience. Breakfast is fairly basic continental fare, with a selection of cereals, breads, cooked meats, cheeses etc. but the breakfast room does look out onto the Grand Canal, which makes up for any shortcomings. Only minor complaint was lack of shower curtain/ screen, so a good shower also meant a very wet floor. Rooms equipped with TV (remote supplied on arrival), mini-bar and free safety deposit box. Also had a spa bath (not sure if this is standard), but much appreciated after long day of walking. Towels were good size, clean and fluffy. The internet station on 1st floor was broken, but the lovely (if slightly eccentric) lady on reception allowed me to use her computer. All in all, I would use this hotel again when visiting Venice.

It was a very average hotel typical Italian style but could do with a bit of an update. The breakfast was well below average and having pigeons walking around the breakfast was a little off putting. However the location was great and I loved sitting on the front balcony

Very Very nice rooms. We had a room for three. Also, there was a great restaurant on the corner that we ate at everyday for lunch or dinner. I would stay at this hotel again
