"Nice hotel for the price of being downtown"
Comfortable Hotel for being downtown. Good for the price. Parking is horrible. Hotel Parking is so small it took us a half our to park because of the small turns. Parking is a rip-off- $23 for hotel parking and 20 in public. Public parking is not secure-they will break into your car in downtown Toronto. Cops are a joke there.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient location but ..."
Got in after long drive there was no parking available and no one to carry the bags to the room.besides there is no room service.Genuine Expedia guest review
the first room i went to was smelly. then i moved to a renovated room but unfortunately there was insects in the pillow. and because of this i left the hotel the next morning.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Reception desk: four star/ my room: two star"
The reception desk and restaurant is well renovated. Really nice and four star hotel feeling. But my room is actually two start inn. Old and outdated.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Stay--Super Affordable"
Great value pick in a nice part of Toronto. Room had an excellent view, easy access to downtown/financial district.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"value for price"
The staff was not very friendly. The hotel restaurant was closed both days. Otherwise the hotel was fairly well taken care of.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Room needs a serious renovation."
All though the lobby looks upscale, the rooms definitely need some make over. Stayed over night while visiting my friends, location is the key. Will certainly recommend for short stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Decent hotel, central location"
I was looking for last minute reasonable priced decent hotel. I got what I want. All amenities, facilities worked well. Staff was nice and friendly. Gym was small and limited, but it all worked. Location was good.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Yonge St."
The hotel room corridor was a little bit run down and the surrounding of the hotel was pretty busy and crowded. 2 blocks away from Yonge St. which was the most crowded place in Toronto. The hotel room was decent overall and it is pretty clean. Everything was alright except for the hotel room corridor which was dark and old.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel Stay, Ill be back"
My stay was short and sweet! Friendly staff and Nice room! Using Expedia all i had to do was provide a credit when I got there and and i was in my room in minutes. My only complaint is the parking garage is so small its hard to turn into a parking spot and around corners. Other than that everything was great. "perfect no rills pleasant short stay"
Recommend a higher floor as the corner of Jarvis and Carlton can get busy. Walking distance from College st station subway. Good for a short stay. No frills, spacious, parking limited, @ 23.00 CAD but unlimited in and out per 24 hours. Friendly staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
"For the price, excellent."
I was here for five days, mostly business. Enjoyed my stay. Just don't use the parking (expensive) if you don't drive a compact. Very narrow. Beside that, all good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quality room with a great view!!"
Great location! Easy walk to many day and night attractions. Friendly and helpful staff!! Comfy beds! GREAT view!!! Strongly recommend reserving floors 15+!!!!! Slightly tricky underground parking.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good value, great staff."
Nice hotel. We booked two rooms for ourselves and my two teen sons. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean and overall pretty quiet. One night there must have been a party in the room above ours and we called security and the noise promptly ceased. Thank you! We had free breakfast vouchers for 2 of the 4 day visits. OK, but a lot of diners around and Tim […] Hortons right off the lobby. About 3 blocks from the subway, 1 block from a great grocery store (Loblaws) - which we had dinner in our rooms 3 of the 5 nights, picnic style! Overall, an economical base for our visit. "Nice for a weekend"
We came for a long weekend and had a good time. The hotel was convenient to many restaurants, as well as public transit. Our room was large and very comfortable. My wife appreciated the large screen TV and its swivel mount, which let her watch from anywhere in the room. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with the option of either cold or hot foods. The […] parking garage was easier to get around than some I've used! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great view, wonderful staff, thin walls"
We were very happy with the condition of the hotel and the comfort of the room. The underground parking is VERY narrow, so I hope you don't have an SUV or claustrophobia, but the location was convenient, the staff was friendly. Our major complaint was with the other guests on our floor, which isn't a direct fault of the Primrose. They were slamming […] doors and yelling across the halls to each other all night, preventing sound sleep and phoning the front desk didn't stop the behavior. Pack earplugs as a precaution, but otherwise, it was a great choice for the price! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel in dowtown for a couple of days."

"Great Place to stay in Toronto!"
I would stay here again, in a minute! ! ! Had some reservations since other reviews were rather "iffy" but was very pleased with hotel. Also pleased that this hotel STILL offers smoking rooms!!! Hotel was clean, elevators were fine, staff friendly and really a great location, walking distance to Younge Street. Very Very Pleased! ! ! A Five Star ! !Genuine Expedia guest review
Very good stay. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The bathroom needed a stronger exhaust fan-only need noted. Quiet neighborhood.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just OK - nothing great."
I booked it because it was cheap and I basically got what I paid for. The beds and sheets have been updated but everything else was a little old and tired. Not the greatest area of town but was walking distance to the subway.Genuine Expedia guest review
"good access, convenient"
I had a great time and the hotel made my stay very enjoyable. Very nice, impressive room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This stay was very random, we were in Canada for the day to go to the beach. We decided to find a hotel at the last minute close to downtown. Expecting to be comfortable after being at the beach all day. Didn't find that. The hotel was over booked with teenagers from caribana. A festival they have every year. Fire alarm went off several times and the […] air condition unit seem to not work. The room was extremely hot, and with a family of 4 in there you can uncomfortable was an understatemt! I called maintenance 2 times but no response probably because of the kids running all around the hotel. And there was no parking in the hotel, we had to park 2 blocks away and walk in the rain. Just not a good experience at all! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
overall good. underground parking is somewhat cumbersome. I am sure you would have problems if you have a bigger car. you pay $23 a day for parking. Major problem we had was with AC. It was hardly effective even after it was " replaced". The hotel itself was clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
"The best fringe hotel"
This Best Western hotel close enough to the entertainment attractions and yet far enough remove if you want do not like being in the middle of jarring activityGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms were great, but the fitness and pool not so much. Staff was very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I had the opportunity to stay one night in this hotel allong with my family. Nice location, just a few streets from the main street in Toronto where the action happens. Good facilities, parking conveniently located, nice restaurant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Avoid it if possible"
Hotel needs major face lifting. Carpets are old and smelly. Bathrooms are very old and inappropriate. Area is somewhat uncomfortable in the night time such that walking around does not feel safe,Genuine Hotels.com guest review
AC unit has a sensor; no movement no ac! When you get back to the room in the summer, it feels like a sauna. You want to stay out to let it cool down but you can't because if there is no movement in the room the ac will stay off! The carpet by the ac gets soaking wet. Beds are uncomfortable; rooms are outdated and not clean. Restaurant is too expensive […] for the quality of food. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"construction noise a problem at Primrose in Toront"
Although the location was well suited to my needs at the time and the staff was courteous and attentive, the daily construction noise over my room from 8am to 5pm was greatly disturbing. For that reason, I would not recommend a stay until the renovation of the Primrose Hotel is complete. Grade for staff was A+ though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Primrose hotel in Toronoto"
This hotel is in the heart of Downtown Toronto. Walking distance to EVERYTHING!! I give location a 5 star rating! The parkig garage wass kind of small, but not a problem getting in and out if you know how to drive. Extremely safe! Of course the $23 a day parking was a little crazy, but good luck finding free parking anywhere around there. Overall the […] room was comfortable, LG tvs, great views. My only downside of this hotel was the Elevators. 23 floor hotel and we ended up getting placed on the 22nd floor. The elevator averaged about 6-7 stops going from our floor down to the lobby. Wasn't used to that! Elevators were tiny to, so most the time the elevator stopped there was no more room for anyone else. The staff at the hotel was Excellent! Just ask to be on one of the lower floors and im sure your stay will be just as excellent as mine was. Priced great to. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We enjoyed our stay. It was my husband and I with our 8 year old son. We had a great view of the city and CN Tower. The room was a nice size and clean. The staff was very helpful with all my questions. We converted money at the front desk. Parking was easy to get in and out of. The parking garage had a door to it so not just anyone could go into the […] garage. The breakfast buffet that was available in the morning was all right. I decided that if we were going to spend $40 on breakfast though then we should go to a real restaurant. Cora's down the road was awesome. They serve fruit with all meals. The hotel is just 3 blocks from Yonge St and the subway. There is a Starbucks at Yonge there too. There is a Starbucks even closer if need be. The trolley also drops off right in front of the hotel. There is also a pull up for cars to safely load and unload vehicle. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Great location. near everything. parking is a bit expensive.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very nice clean beds, covers and sheets. However carpeting is old, no small fridge in room, windows are old and foggy. Bathrooms are slightly old however clean. Bathtub was draining slow. Wi-Fi is free, but speed of connection very slow to browse internet. Great Location in Downtown Toronto next to Yonge street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best Western Primrose Toronto ON"
Nice hotel. Attentive to guests' needs and a friendly staff. Within easy walking distance to the main attractions in Toronto as well as bus, subway and trolley stops. On the edge of Toronto's gay village which has some great restaurantsas well as entertainment. It is only limited by a small underground garage, not suitable for larger vehicles. "Not a great experience with Best Western Primerose"
The room itself was clean & comfortable. The location is great: right downtown Toronto & could walk anywhere with ease. Our issue was with our room neighbors, the hotel hall environment, and the hotel staff service. The hotel hosted certification exams that we scheduled to take (they all started at 8am). It was in their conference room on the 23rd […] floor (nice room as well), so we booked a room there for two nights over the weekend. We noticed their rack rate was at a premium, but still it was still better to be onsite where the exam was offered. After some material reviewing Friday night, we go to bed around 9:30pm knowing we need to be well-rested for the 6-hour exam. At 11pm, the neighboring room's several occupants were loud & partying hardy: talking, shouting, laughing, TV blaring, whistling & singing along with music playing, cell phones ringing constantly ... the works. We called the front desk & informed them of this, and they advised they'd send security up to have them settle down. We're not sure if any hotel staff came, but we know they didn't "settle down". At 11:45pm we called the front desk again to inform them that the neighboring room was as loud as before, and now bumping against or even maybe beating on the connecting door to the rooms (it was locked). The front desk person apologized and advised they had moved these folks from another room already, and were about to call the police on them to have them removed. Again, the front desk person advised they would send hotel security to the neighboring room. This time, we did hear staff knock on their door. It got quieter over the next several minutes, and we thought it issues resolved. So much so, that we were able to be back to sleep for our test in a few hours. Unfortuneately, around 4:30am our neighbors returned and were as loud as before. We called the front desk for a thrid time, informed them of their loudness even in the halls. The hotel staff person responded rudely, "Well, what do you expe Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I tryed checking Into my room and I was told to wait , and asked for a manager and one never came. I then was told to park in the parking underground for hotel guests as I went there it was completely full I called the hotel to find out what I should do and the basically told me to use a public parking lot. As it was pride weekend and the long weekend […] it was very busy I ended up having to park all the way down at dundas and walk back to the hotel with my luggage that took about 20 minutes in 30 degree weather. The washroom was flooded and after I told them about my parking they did not care and still I was waiting to check in my room..
