"Beautiful Lobby, Disgusting Room"
The lobby was beautiful. I wish I could say the same about the rest of the hotel. The service at the front desk was terrible. There were two people in line in front of me and about 30 behind me. The receptionist proceeded to check in the entire group, taking people from behind me in line and checking them in first. Only when a gentleman about halfway […] through the group said "this lady was here before me" did she address me. When we got to our room, the sliding glass door had been sloppily glued shut. There was a dirty diaper on the roof right outside our window. The tiles in the bathroom were broken and pushed in to the wall so far, you could stick your fingers inside. Just gross. "Dirty and no shuttle service to conference center"
During our 4 night stay everything indicated that their housekeeping is completely deficient, e.g. not restocking items, bed cushions on the floor, socks left under the blanket (fortunately our own!), a layer of dust on lamp, etc, so you wonder if they actually do any cleaning?! When we booked they promised shuttle service to the conference center, […] however, most of the times when we needed it they'd say that they could not do it because airport was a priority, despite the second shuttle bus and driver sitting there doing nothing - and that even though we were a group of 8 people and the conference center is within 5 minutes driving distance.
