Loved the staff, loved the room -- very comfortable. Great value!

I really recomemded to my friends and family we enjoy stay there .

We found a better rate on this hotel than others in the vicinity. It caters mostly to business travelers. We are a small family and wanted a place to stay that was within a short drive of The City but without the premium price. This fit the bill. The suite was comfortable, with a sofa that worked for our child. I'm guessing the sofa beds are not used […] often. There is no pool, and we did not check out the jacuzzi. Breakfast offerings could be improved with more protein options. It's more grab and go style, and there aren't many places to sit in the breakfast room. We had to move from our first room, with a balcony, to another room on a lower floor, no balcony, due to an excessively loud neighbor. The move was handled with ease. I think sound proofing could be improved if this hotel gets a remodel. The second room showed considerably more wear than the first room. Overall, a comfortable place. Very comfortable, firm, not bouncy, bed, good pillows. Free and accessible wifi and free parking. Those things add up quickly at some hotels. Read more

Superb service great rooms expansive all upgraded

Didn't know it was a pet friendly hotel... And was so happy to find out it is. Had a great time there, staff was friendly n the hotel is clean n well maintained at all corners. Will definitely go back!!!

It was amaizing! The location is away from the busy city it was a short drive to the tourist attractions of san francisco. We have 2 small children and this is the perfect place to stay with kids. The rooms were spacious enough for them to play. We loved the dvd player and the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the sofa bed was also surprisingly […] comfortable also. Every staff member that we came in contact with was very nice and went above and beyond to meet every need we had (which was quite a few request). The continental breakfast was good juice, coffee, milk, muffins, bagles, croissants, and toast. I will stay at this hotel every time we are in san francisco. I found this hotel to be well located near SF. With free parking and breakfast a good value. Friendly and competent service. Just a 1/2 mile away on Grand Ave are many small ethnic restaurants, especially Asian ones, in a safe neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again,.

I was pleasantly surprised at the hotel and their service. It is in the same general neighborhood at the Hilton Garden Inn, Embassy Suites, and if you don't need a restaurant & lounge. If you want a restaurant & lounge, the Embassy suites is same price.

The room showed some wear but the friendliness of the hotel staff was the best I have seen and more than made up the difference.

I was staying in this hotel for a two nights and will do it again next time. Great price for the two rooms and the kitchen. Free parking and complimentary breakfast. Just 15 minutes to the downtown on the car. Don't recommend look for the dinning in the neigbourhood!! The downtown of the south SF is a dirty place.

Great location, easy access to airport, city, BART, great suite-like rooms with nice kitchens, plenty of parking ... all at a reasonable rate. We'll be back.

We checked in very late, so didn't get to enjoy all the ammentites the hotel had to offer, however it was very comfortable, and worth the every penny of the already cheap rate. It was conviently close to candlestick park, in a very quiet area. I would certainly stay there again, when visiting the Bay area

Chose this hotel because of the proximity to the airport, and the ability to park. They provide free shuttle service which leaves every 20 minutes or so. The hotel staff is accommodating, the breakfast was continental and the quality was above average, though the sitting/dining room was too small and had limited seating for the guests. I've stayed here many times. Great staff and nice rooms with kitchenette. Although I've never used, they have shuttle service into San Francisco.

I stayed at the Larkspur for 3 nights. The hotel is close to freeways and 20 mins away from downtown and all attractions such as fisherman's wharf and pier 39. I selected this hotel because of the location and because it has a kitchenette, it is fully equipped with the basic essentials you need. We brought and cooked our own food which saved some money. […] I didn't care for the housekeeping. Although we arrived to a clean room, room turnover from day to day was not thorough, such as the floors not being swept or the carpet being vacuumed, and items not being replenished such as paper towels and dish soap. We came into the room with hardly anything on the roll of paper towels and a teaspoon of dish soap in the bottle. Other than those minor things, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend. Read more

I wasn't expecting much for customer service when I reserved this hotel based on reviews. Well I was proved wrong. Mike at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. When I checked into my first room, I was not happy about the odor of the room. When I brought this to the front desk's attention, I was immediately moved and even upgraded to a much larger […] room. I grew up in South San Francisco, and was excited to try this new property during our visit for the Thanksgiving holiday. I was traveling with my wife and two young sons, ages 5 and 3. This is an all-suite hotel. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite. It was spacious, with a very adequate kitchen. There were free welcome snacks in a basket upon our arrival, […] which was a nice touch. This place will even pick up groceries for you at cost! They always have tasty apples in the lobby for snacks. The bathroom was very large, with a sliding door. The door didn't have a lock on it, so there was little to prevent the door opening if not within reach. The kitchen had a full-size refrigerator with a two-burner stove, oven, and microwave. There was plenty of silverware, plates, cups, etc. The living room and bedroom both had flat screens with cable, with a DVD player in the living room. The living room had a sofa bed. The sofa bed in room 118 is pretty thoroughly warped, though my kids didn't care. It is also a tight squeeze to get to the TV or chair when the sofa bed is extended. The hotel grounds are immaculate, as if the place opened yesterday. Service was very courteous. Continental breakfast included cereals, yogurts, oatmeal, fruit, lots of different juices, milk, hard-boiled eggs, and various muffins and breads. We were happy with it. Outstanding hotel with free parking, shuttle, and wifi, pet friendly, full kitchen, and very convenient location at a very reasonable price. Will definitely stay here again. Bed was super comfortable, and room was clean and modern. Upgraded to a 1BR upon check-in for more space and was definitely satisfied with that decision.

i stayed at this hotel for 4 days... the toilet kept backing up, the shower handle was broken and the hi-def didnt work for the whole trip. the room service will only change the sheets if you get consent from the front desk first. horrible trip even the employees want to leave there.. the new management is ridiculous

Great hotel actually. But the advertised daily clean up did not happen. When asked if we could get our room freshened we were told cleaning occurred every other day. It was such an obvious lie to cover up the mistake that the incident tainted the entire stay. The night serviceman ended up running clean towels to us.

Awesome 1-bedroom suite, looks new, very clean, large with kitchen, appliances, 2 large flat screen TVs. Good price, good location near SF airport if need to be near there. Excellent facility for good price.

Very good value and very convenient. I was given a large room with a kitchenette. The refrigerator made a racket though, with the motor running off and on, disturbing my sleep. I'm a light sleeper, though. Overall, rate as well as any of the airport hotels

visited the bay area for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay at larkspur landing. the room exceeded my expectations and the staff were all very friendly and professional.

Hotel is nicely decorated and fairly new around 11 years old according to front desk. Rooms are designed well with a full kitchen. Complimentary continental breakfast with minimal seating. Complimentary laundry facilities for guests was a nice touch. BUT our individual room had sticky counters and kitchen table. Bathtub had a soap scum. Comforter had […] blood stain and odor. Nice place to stay near the airport. Tough to catch a cab downtown since you're out on oyster point, but there is a shuttle that runs to the airport/Bart and one that goes to the wharf on weekends. Decent breakfast too.

Best place to stay when I have an early flight out of SFO. Always top natch and I have never had any issues in the many stays.

This was probably the prettiest, cleanest, most comfortable place I have ever stayed in. (And I travel a lot.) The people were friendly, helpful, and even extremely nice when I acted badly upon arrival. The continental breakfast was awesome, and what seemed like "homemade" cookies in the afternoon, was a very nice touch. My goodness, they'll even go […] grocery shopping for you at NO CHARGE!!! It's a beautiful property, inside & out and they are SO accomodating! The "welcome" basket had the best chocolate I've ever had in my life. Even their soap & shampoo was a real treat!!! The TV had such clarity, I want to go out and buy one! The bed was SO comfortable---yes, I'm ready to move in forever! Thank you so much! Excellent in all respects.

Good everything. I especially liked the full kitchen in each room. Very clean,. comfortable and cozy. A "like-home" stay. Nice furnishings and amenities. A good contental+ breakfast after a very restful evening and sleep.

The Larkspur Landing hotel in South San Francisco is the best hotel, in my opinion, in the Bay Area. The location is perfect. It is located in a business-park area in South SF that is amazingly quiet and peaceful. It is also just a short drive down 101 from stores, restaurants, fast food, etc. My girlfriend and I went up to see a Giants game and the […] hotel was, literally, a 10 minute drive from the park. It is also a 15 minute drive from virtually anything in San Francisco. The hotel itself is wonderful. The rooms and clean and comfortable, the breakfast is surprisingly good for a continental breakfast (they have about 20 different cereals to choose from as well as many other items), the front desk staff are some of the friendliest staff I've ever had, and the service is exceptional. I would also highly recommend their free shuttle to pier 39 as a great way to avoid parking hassles. The only bad thing about our stay was the Giants losing. I will probably never stay in another hotel in the Bay Area again. Read more

I visited the bay for a game. We stayed here and were comfortable. Nice room, soft bed. Try celayas mexican food around corner. It was although quite a drive to city, not bad but way to much for a taxi to city. Overall I enjoyed the spot and would go back.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to stay away from the city. We came accross Larkspur Hotel and we absolutely loved everything about it!! The staff was so friendly and all the amenities were the cherry on top. The complimentary breakfast was great and you could tell that all the other guests were happy to be there. I don't know how old is this Hotel, but it looks like new from front desk to the rooms, very clean. Area around was very quiet. People attention was kindly and respectfully. We were planning to visit San Francisco Downtown and hotel location makes the access through US101 easy and fast. As not so good thing, I requested two adjoining rooms but this […] didn't happen. I stay in hotels frequently for work in Nevada and California. This time it was for a football game in San Francisco. The room was great except for the sunk in bed in the middle which would work for one person most likely I would think, but not a couple as I stayed with my wife here. We ended up at opposite ends of the bed and sore backs the next morning […] trying to sleep on the uphill and sinking towards the middle. Would be an awesome room for the price and convenience off of the freeway from a football game at Candlestick Park as we did, but the bed ruined the whole experience for sure. The breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast also. When the man at the checkout desk said he'd hope to see us again soon at checkout, I told him he wouldn't most likely and explained the terrible bed to him. I was then told by the man I'm sorry about that with a smirk and told us to have a good day, then handed a reciept with a similar smile-smirk. A sore back and drive all the way back to back to Reno was not pleasant! So much for a good nights rest without the kids! Would not recommend this hotel to couples, go across the parking lot to The Hilton Garden Inn were we stayed the last time we came for a football game if you are staying as a couple for a far superior bed! This hotel was AWESOME for staying in San Francisco. Most SF hotels downtown charge $45 parking fee p/n, parking was FREE here. Our room had full kitchen which we didn't need/use but it was nice to have.
