My wife's birthday falls 8 days before Christmas, so every year we head to downtown Seattle for a night and go do some shopping and see a show. This year we stayed at the Westin. From the service to the rooms to the location, everything was great. The only problem was a bed sheet that was stained with what looked like foundation make-up, but they came right up and changed it. They had also ran out of the kids goodie bags they give out, so they gave us two free in-room movies for the kids which was great after a long day.

Staying at this hotel was a very nice experience. The bed and bedding was superior and made for a wonderful overnight experience. The room had a nice flat screen tv and the location enabled a quick walk to downtown shopping. The parking in their garage was more than I expected at $39.00 a night. That was a huge suprise to me. Other than the parking, I have nothing but good to say about the Westin.

Great Location. Not the best hotel for a single guy. No action at the bar. I stayed on 34th floor and one night there was an unreal wind storm. Believe it or not, the windows creaked from the wind so loud, it was actually scary. Surprised at the architecture of the building as the high floors cannot handle high winds which is rather normal in Seattle. I would stay in middle floor next time.

The room was wonderful and the beds are truly heavenly. It was so nice not to wake up with "hotel back". The view was wonderful, as expected...For some reason I thought "Deluxe Water View" meant a view of the Puget Sound, it was actually of Lake Union to the northeast but that's okay it was still spectacular. The Lobby was clean and comfortable and the workout facilities were great. I would recommend this for a romantic getaway, a little pricey, but its worth it. Staff was nice and accommodating for business needs as well. Very close walk to Mall, Pike Place Market, all the fun Seattle stuff.

It turned me off staying there again when it took two days for the money to appear in my account again.

Great location to up scale shopping and a nice (somewhat long) walk to the Public Market. Hotel personnel are wonderful and even came to our room 20min after check-in to make sure we were satisfied with our room. The fitness center was fantastic and had no extra charge. Clean and fresh linens large bathroom, Great flat screen (large) TV with internet access. We'll back.

The hotel is tremendous in it's desk help and rooms. The rooms were clean and quiet. We didn't have a great view of the city. The Westin is nicely situated in the heart of Seattle. The monorail and underground transit system is within easy walking distance, two blocks. The bar with it's laid back sofas and coffee tables. I didn't want to leave when I was there. The only downside is parking. We didn't have to part in the hotel's parking lot. We parked next door which was cheaper. We will stay here anytime we come back.

I was dissapointed in how small the room was. I had requested a water view. Instead I was facing a building under construction and if I stuck my head out the window I might then have been able to see the water. Also, the hotel doesn't have a parking lot so I had to use valet. Which I thought was free until I saw that my credit card was charged forty bucks. I think this hotel is over priced.

The hotel is located in the heart of everything--a few blocks to Pike Place Market, one block to the monorail to the Space Needle, great shopping nearby, and an inexpensive taxi ride to local restaurants. The hotel itself was very nice. It was everything I would expect a Westin hotel to be. The staff, however, was phenomenal. The concierge was outstanding setting up reservations for formal dinner, limo, and other matters. There was only one minor bobble regarding tuxedo pressing that was (VERY) quickly addressed by the hotel manager. The view of the Seattle skyline including the Space Needle and the bay were wonderful and the room itself was immaculate. The things that disappointed: both wireless and wired internet access were available... for a fee. This is a service that is free at every other hotel I have visited. Breakfast: also free at other hotels I have visited but very pricey at the Westin. There were a small number of other minor nitnoid things but all-in-all a delightful experience. Was it worth the price paid? Almost.

I recently stayed at the Westin Seattle because i'm used to using the Westin in Alexandria, Virginia and have always received excellent service. This hotel was like night and day from my previous experiences. The second you step in the elevator you realize that this hotel has seen better days. The room isn't much better. The walls must be paper thin because I was treated to two nights of listening to someone's business calls from next door and the third night was a boss negotiating an employee's review between the sheets. I wouldn't recommend bringing children here. Miserable.
