Was in a very good location to the airport. Walking distance. Shuttle bus 24H makes very easy for me and my family to get to airport in not time. Great place an great hotel service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok for 1 night stay before early morning flight"
For the price I paid, this is a good place to stay if you are driving far from SeaTac airport for an early morning flight. When I found this hotel on Hotels.com, one of the filters I used in my search was "free parking." However, upon check-in, I was told that parking was an extra $11. The first room that was assigned to me had a flooded toilet (when […] I first walked into the room, I could already hear the toilet water was running). After I called the front desk, I was immediately moved to another room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"I felt like I was in a 5* hotel."
I was not expecting such a lovely room and it all started out lovely with the check in staff. I would definitely recommend the Red Lion at Seatac airport!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Not a happy experience"
The hotel is old and the walls needed painting and updating I SHOULD have stayed in the Hampton they included breakfast it would have been cheaper the door to the room was not very secure there is no food service after 9 pm I called and asked about the Shuttle before I left palm springs no one bothered to tell me it was called Yellow somehting so I […] waited a long time and finally called the hotel again. Not a good experience I would never stay in this Red Lion Again or probably any other Terrible experience Front desk staff was rude I just left I did not even get a bill Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Response by Red Lion Hotel Seattle Airport Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we appreciate all feedback about our guests visits. I do apologize for not getting clarification on which shuttle to look for because we do have a very reliable 24 hour a day shuttle back and forth between the airport and hotel. We also do have some reservations that can be made that include our hot breakfast buffet and we do have a lounge that offers food later than 9pm. But I can understand how frustrating it can be to travel and then have issues come up at the hotel, so all I can do is apologize and hope that you will give Red Lion another chance in the future. Sincerely, Jennifer K Sales and Catering Assistant
I didn't get to stay. This rating is from when I stayed there in June 2013. Severe weather in Orlando disrupted flights, so I paid for a hotel in Seattle but spent the night in Phoenix.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"good hotel by airport"
It was nice to have a good hotel close to the airport with a shuttle at all hours getting us there in plenty time for our flight and no hassle of parking.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Overall OK, but the hotel is too old."
Overall it is OK. Great location and very convenient to airport. The room looks old and small.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Can't wait to return"
Great place to stay! Staff was very professional and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quiet and Close"
I wanted a quite and close airport to SEATAC. This was not a full 4 star, but close because it met all those expectations. I was very surprised that it was so quiet. There is also a lake in the back. I opened the window and rather than hearing airplanes, I heard birds from the lake.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Airport Location"
This hotel was very close to Sea-Tac airport. Our room was very clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. One thing I was not aware of when I made the reservation was that they do charge for parking. I would stay here again in the future.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"We stayed the night before our plane flight."
Red Lion is a very pleasant hotel. We were pleased to be able to have a nice dinner next door at Gregory's Restaurant, after a long and difficult drive!Genuine Expedia guest review
The room was clean and well stocked with shampoo, lotion, etc. i was disappointed that I could hear people in the halls and in the room above me so well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent location for early flights"
The Red Lion is directly across the street from SEA-TAC Airport. The front desk staff are nice and the free shuttle bus to the airport runs regularly 24-hours/day. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK but a little shabby"

"Great parking service, delivery to the airport."
The hotel has parking for your car on their site, for a small fee ( about $12 per night). there is free shuttle service to the airport and pickup. you really can't beat this combo. The restaurant has greet food too. The hotel is surprising quiet considering its location to a busy street and the airport. I would stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Comfortable, convenient, and cost effective."
When arriving late at night it is so easy to hop a shuttle and stay at am airport hotel, then puck up the rental car in the morning. Saves time and money. Red Lion was a great choice. Comfortable and convenient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very Helpful and Friednly Staff"
The hotel is nice and clean - starting to show its age a bit but well maintained . I would definitely stay there again when I need to overnight before an early flight. Very close and handy to the airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for airport overnight"
Hotel location is the best when flying in out of SeaTac. Nothing fancy here, hotel is showing its age but for the price it's fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was great, except for two things: Parking (hotel full; not enough parking space), and parking lot in need of repair. Otherwise, great location, clean spacious room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Staff helpful but hotel needs work"
Check-in was smooth with pleasant staff. However overall condition and cleanliness was disappointing. I have stayed at Red Lion in another city and found it far better than this Seattle hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Definitely not a true Red Lion experience!"
This hotel is not like any other Red Lion I have ever been to. Usually they are nice, super clean and the hospitality is incredible. However this is not the case at the Seatac one! The hotel staff, minus the shuttle driver and one of the afternoon customer support staff members, are awful!! The front desk gals know nothing about what true hospitality […] means, they were rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. They all acted like they were doing me some big favor when performing their job responsibilities to me as a guest at the hotel. I will say that the rooms are clean, that was a major plus. There is NO free breakfast of any kind though, which really upset me because when calling to find out about the hotel they neglected to mention that you have to pay for your breakfast in edition to your hotel room cost. Highly disappointing, and then the food honestly was not great. It was fair, but I would not even call it good food. Overall it was a horrible experience, we had to move rooms twice and finally ended up in a room that was nt the type we'd originally reserved. If you need to stay by the airport, I sincerely recommend staying elsewhere! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Response by Red Lion Hotel Seattle Airport Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our property. All feedback, good and bad, is useful to us. I wanted to sincerely apologize for the less than awesome trip you had with us. Customer service is the most important thing to us, so hearing that your expecations were not met is disappointing to us. We do take those types of complaints seriously, and while we can't change what happened during your stay, we will make sure that doesn't happen again. I apologize that you were not made aware that breakfast was not included in your rate. We do hope that you choose to give us a second chance to show you what Red Lion hospitality is really all about! "Okay hotel, no master park savings option."
Less expensive to drive down international bad to another master park! Pillows were like rocks. Won't be back.Genuine Expedia guest review
We had to ship our daughters dog to Germany. It was so nice having a hotel that was pet friendly and so close to the airport.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Decent hotel.......paper thin walls"
Hotel was clean and room was what you would expect for the price you pay. Staff was friendly and check in/out was easy. We stayed in room 314. Three of us were having a conversation at a normal volume and at 10:05pm (I imagine 5 minutes past quiet time) there was a loud banging on the other side of the wall. That morning at 5:15 the three of us were […] woken up by a loud alarm clock and phone ringing from the same room the banging came from. Clearly these walls are extremely thin. I wouldn't stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Renovation makes this a place I'll stop again"
Red Lion was passed by its competitors a few years ago. The renovation of this property has changed it from a "glory days gone by" location to a place I'll stay again. Good value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice but Epic Fail in 1 Area"
I like the hotel for its location, value, and room size. I had high expectations and everything went well EXCEPT they forgot to give me a wake up call and they had not set the clocks in the room to Daylight Standard Time. I set the room clock to wake me up. For some reason this time I did not set the alarm on my phone thinking that the hotel is literally […] across the street from the airport. I had also had a pointed discussion about the wake up call with the gentlemen checking me in and the availability of an 5 am shuttle. So, I trusted the hotels system yet backed it up by setting the clock in the hotel room to wake me up. I never got the wake up call, I did wake up to the clock BUT they the clocks had not been set to reflect Daylight Savings so I MISSED MY FLIGHT!!! My fault for not counting on myself rather than the hotel. If you stay there do not use their systems. Rely on your own. This hotel will give you a nice room, great location, at a reasonable price, across the street from SeaTac airport. Just use your own alarm. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"It was ok, nothing special."
The lamp cord for the main light in the room had a kink in it where it had been plugged in and then the bed pressed up against it so it kept blinking on and off everytime you shifted weight on the bed. Would have been ok for special effects but not great for reading or watching tv.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very convenient to SeaTac"

"Great airport hotel"
I stayed at the Red Lion the night before I was flying out of Seattle. It met all the needs of an airport hotel. It had a bar and grill right next door that provided a reasonable dinner and breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everyone was very helpful. Your guest laundry really helped us out! We would stay again. There were numerous places to walk to. Close to the airport. Courteous transportation drivers.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable bed, good night's sleep, noisy guests"
Reserved a king non smoking room on Hotels.com at a special rate for an early flight the following day. Good value for the but they do make you pay $11 for parking overnight. Room was updated, spacious and comfortable as was bed. Remarkable to the area, located less than a block from the from the main entrance to the airport, heard no plane noise all […] night. What I did hear at 200am was intoxicated guests (go figure-liquor and hookers) which is pretty normal in that area of Seattle. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Okay, not great"
The hotel is clean and the room is comfortable. That said; the Seattle Airport has many, many flights that leave between 6 and 7 AM every morning. This requires check in between 4 and 5 AM. The hotel restaraunt does not open until 6! And it was closed at 9 PM so there was no hot food available for my stay. It seems to me that if you know people need […] to be at the airport by 5 AM you would at least have some breakfast or coffee service available by 4 AM. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Our stay was great, but every hotel has the same issue for us...we need more electrical plugs by the bed. We have to unplug either the clock or the lamp to be able to plug in our C-PAP machines. Having accessible extension strips would be ideal.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Red Lion Hotel Seattle Airport Thank you for taking the time to write a review! We are so glad you had a great stay with us, but I my dad has a CPAP machine so I know all about how annoying it can be when there isn't a plug right by the bed. We do apologize, but we really hope to see you again soon! Best, Jennifer K Sales and Catering Assistant
"Nice Place but Thin Walls"
The rooms are spacious and well taken care of. My only complaint was that at 1am there were noises coming from the room above me that were loud enough to wake me up. It was difficult to sleep with while the noises continued.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Over-all good quality. Very disappointed with coffee and grounds remaining in coffee pot and poor selection so teas.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close by the airport with pick up and drop off."
The service and room was very good but the only suggestions is to improved on the room door closing without slaming them. This causes interruption of sleeps.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Tired & Dated. No longer competitive"
Have stayed in many Red Lion hotels over the years. At one time it was a good value but now are tired and dated (popcorn ceilings, etc.). The newer chains (Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn, etc.) are nicer and and a much better value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very good and close to airport."
I stayed at the Red Lion one night for a flight layover in Seattle. Very close to airport, convenient and easy shuttle, limited (but good) buffet breakfast at Tully's Coffee shop next to hotel for ten bucks.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Dingy... a step back to the 70's"
We stayed only one night because our flight came in late. I wanted the convenience of being close to the airport, free wi-fi, and breakfast. The whole place had the tone, decor, and amenities identical to what would have been offered 30 years ago- except for the wi-fi. When we stepped into the elevator, it reeked of pesticide, making me worry there […] may have just been a problem with bugs. I checked the mattresses and sheets for telltale signs and when I saw the two dark perfectly round specks on the nice clean sheets, I really got uncomfortable. I zipped up our bags and got everything off the floor and away from the furniture and onto the luggage stand. We slept soundly and here were NO problems, no bugs at all, just to be clear, and the beds were perfectly comfortable. I think I was just overall disappointed that this place felt like a $49 room not a $122 (Hotels.com price) room. The breakfast was the same ol' boring buffet scrambled eggs that looked gooey and disgusting, the bacon was dried out like jerky, coffee was average, drinkable but nothing special. I don't eat breads and cereals so that left us with not much to consider. I finished my coffee there and we went elsewhere for breakfast. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Red Lion Hotel Seattle Airport Thank you for taking the time to review our property and we appreciate both positive and negative feedback. I am so sorry to hear about the overwhelming odor you encountered while entering our elevator. After a long day of travel, that is the last thing I would want to encounter. I am pleased to hear that no bugs or critters were found during your stay. We value each and every one of our guests and I truly apologize that we failed to provide you the best possible service. We are very displeased to see that there were some areas of concern regarding the cleanliness in your guest room and we will certainly address your concerns with our housekeeping staff. I will address your concerns in regards to your experience eating breakfast in our restaurant. We value feedback and strive to satisfy our guests with the best customer service possible. We do hope you will give our property another chance whenever you travel through the Seattle airport area. Best, Melissa Riley, Sales Administrative Assistant
We were able to book online for a discount right before we showed up, but that's where the good stuff stopped. Parking cost $11 since we were close to the airport. The room we were put in because we had dogs with us was on the first floor. That would have been fine, but it was louder on the first floor and caused our dogs to be disturbed and therefore […] us to be disturbed all night long. The outside wall leaked and the carpet was soaked by the next morning. The window didn't close properly and the wind made a loud screaming sound over and over until the wind died down. When we shared the leaking issue with the front desk, they did not seem to care. The shower also leaked all over the floor whenever someone took a shower. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
