Clean older hotel close to the airport. The hotel does need a make over. Air conditioning not working when we checked in so we were given rooms away from the afternoon sun. Room was conneted to the naighboring room with only a thin door not a double thick door like most hotels I could hear that room watching tv at 3am and I could tell it was not loud our rooms felt like we were one room. Hotel was ok, Its old. Bathroom was old. Hot water required quite a long wait at the sink. No counter space for getting ready in the morning. Bed was comfy and the room was large. My husband and I had to catch an early flight and decided to stay at Red Lion. We think the location is great because we returned the car early and was able to just walk across the street from the terminal to get back to the hotel. "Awesome location next to Airport"
My hotel stay was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The beds smelled like sweat though. It was gross. Also, don't go to the restaurant next door, not sure how affiliated it is with the hotel, but it is terrible. "Lack of air conditioning"
The air conditioning wasn't working. Hotel staff were helpful in accessing a fan and opening a window so the room would be cool for the evening. Everything was fine with the exception of being able to hear outside noises like a dog barking in the parking lot below (in a camper trailer) most of the night. For the second time we have stayed at this hotel, the keys to the room and the exercise room did not work. During this stay, we got four different pairs of keys and none of them worked unless we used them repeatedly. Fantastic location. A 10-15 minute walk to the LINK light rail station at the airport. From there, you can ride to the downtown (fish market) area. We booked this hotel based on the reviews, price, and proximity to the airport. This hotel tried, but just didn't come close. There was no problem checking in, but there was no air conditioning. The hotel did provide a fan which helped some. The noise from neighbors was apparent from check until check out. It was especially obvious when our next door […] neighbors began to fight. If you plan on staying one or two nights and need a place near the airport this hotel is a good option. Staff is friendly, the A/C wasn't working but they did provide a fan. The best feature is that it is in walking distance to SEATAC during good weather. Booked an overnight stay between flights. We checked in after a long, late flight and went straight away tot he room. It was hot, but we assumed that the air just wasn't circulating. Turned on the unit and went for a quick dinner. Got back after dinner, but their was no change in the room temp. It was stifling. After three more calls to the front desk, they finally delivered the fan at 1 in the morning. The hotel was being renovated. I was assigned a room on the top floor when there was roof work being performed. There was no AC working in the room - I was told that it was on a central system so it couldn't be adjusted. The room was no kidding 85 degrees! It's very close to the Doubletree hotel, which is where my event was. The room was comfortable and had adequate amenities. The refrigerator was small, with just enough space for the snacks we brought. The coffee was not very good quality, so we went next door to Tully's each morning. I arrived well before check in and the staff were kind enough to get me into a room so that I could make myself presentable before an important meeting.
