We stayed at the Lorette Opera at the beginning of our stay and again at the end of our stay. At the beginning we had rooms on the 3rd floor which were very nice, comfortable and good in size. I would highly recommend the Hotel Lorette Opera to friends and family visiting Paris. I found the hotel in Expedia as it was within my price range. I used Trip Advisor to validate my choice. The location is a cute neighborhood North of the Opera/Grands Magasains area, and just Sputh of Pigalle/Montmartre, a few steps from Metro St Georges. The area […] is cute, safe, chic and full of that Parisian character that I love. The staff were a pleasant surprise being friendly, courteous and professional. I lived in Paris for many years and it is rare to get this level of service. On top of that, they were smiling! This alone is worth a stay. The room was very clean and in good condition. The bathroom is aged but clean. And the windows kept out any street noise. The hotel's general decor was very tasteful. Like the our room, the common areas look exactly like the pictures online. What you see in the pics online is what you get. One con for me was that the wifi although free was (1) not available in our room due to an extremely weak signal, and (2) required a new login ID and password each time you disconnect from the network. Disconnection includes a dropped signal.The login IDs and passwords are predefined and provided at the Front Desk. This is a great area of opportunity for the Hotel. I like many travelers expect free and accessible (strong signal) wifi at all modern hotels. That said, don't skip this hotel. Very good location, service and value for the money. Read more

They were kind enough to print our tickets for the Eiffel Tower for us and provided helpful information for many of our activities. Small clean / modern room. (Half Block) Plenty of good Restaurants / Cafes close by. We had a double room for a 3 night stay in April. The room was small and clean.There were no drink making facilities in the room. During our stay the room was very warm.Switching on the air conditioning unit made no difference to the temperature. Luckily the front /balcany window opened to let in some fresh air. A very nice two day stay at this hotel situated near Montmartre. It's also very close to a metro station and it has plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is very well situated for the metro and bus services and a 10 euro taxi ride from the Gard du Nord. There are a large number of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance and the continental breakfast, for which we paid 12euros each, was well worth the money. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

The room is suitable and in a great location to the metro and areas I like in Paris. Yes, you hear the metro, but it is not bad. The bed was ok, but the pillows a tad stiff. My biggest problem was that 4 times I put the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on my door and 4 times, it was ignored!! I was furious!! I've never had staff blatantly ignore my wishes before. […] The manager did make amends, but not as good as he could have. Breakfast is not included, although internet is. This hotel is located really near the 12 line on the metro, which is convenient. It is not the best metro line because you may have to transfer a bit but it still does the job. The area is really nice and you would feel safe walking around there even late at night. The hotel is older and has been re-modeled. We just came back from a weekend in Paris and stayed at this gem of a hotel. We have been to Paris many times and this hotel has become a favourite. The staff at reception were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is lovely, even nicer than the pictures show. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location of this hotel is fabulous, close to St Georges Metro, however, we walked to most places. The area has really great restaurants and shops. On the next street to the hotel, Rue Henry Monnier, do not miss, a gorgeous restaurant called Le Petite Canard. Great food, wonderful, friendly service. A must. Also, on the same street is a shop called Le Rocketship which sells homewares and nic nacs but has a little cafe in it. Here, the coffee is terrific...considering Paris has such bad coffee. Des bonnes et d'autres plus mauvaises. Bonnes : l'emplacement et le quartier, le design des espaces communs, la salle du pdj, chambre propre. Mauvaises : l'accueil personnalisé (juste bonjour), l'impression de déranger, et au check-out juste au revoir. La chambre était correcte mais petite (pour Paris on peut dire que c'est normal) mais pas de brosse […] dans les toilettes, sèche cheveux très très basse puissance (pas possible de se sécher les cheveux en moins de 30 minutes) et la poignée du placard est cassée. Le matin du check.out, malgré le panneau "ne pas déranger" la femme de chambre est entrée (il n'était que 11h00 et l'heure de départ est 12h00).
