"Fantastic hotel for family"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
All perfect! Huge suites, great staff, outstanding pool, close to everything.
"Nice place, good deal for the money"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We stayed here for the good rates, and were within a 5 minute walk to Doubletree and the other premier hotels and also the awesome Ale House (try the chicken twisters - yummi). The staff at the front desk were awesome, though the sales desk BS'd us by telling us that their tickets were the same cost as at the gate of Universal. Universal gate was cheaper. They also pushed for us to get a 2 day pass saying it takes 28 hours to get thru the two parks. Well we bought the 1 day pass and we were on and off ALL the rides in both parks by 3PM and were heading back to Island of adventure to ride some again. But if we bought the two day pass we would've been bored out of our mind. Granted we did go to Universal on a Tuesday and there were few people there. Also the sales desk told us it was a 15 minute walk. Me and my friends are in marathon shape, it still took us 30 minutes to get there. Lastly they told us that since we are staying in a hotel close to Universal we'd get in at 8, another lie, we arrived at 8:15 and we weren't allowed in until 9, only guests staying in Universal itself at the expensive premier hotels were allowed early entry. So in summation; I would recommend La Quinta but don't go buy your tickets from the liars at the sales desk for any parks. PS - our room smelled like someone smoked in it, it was mild so we didn't complain and the windows opened, that was nice.
"Close to Universal/priced OK"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This Days Inn is very old and could use a major overhaul. We had booked 2 nights and the first room was uncomfortable and dirty. Plus bugs. In the morning we requested another room and were immediately upgraded to a larger, cleaner, more comfortable room. Front desk was eager to help and maintenance staff also helped to fix a missing chair leg in the new room. Overall we probably would not recommend this Days Inn except for its location and price (be aware of the 'resort' fee added at check-in per day). This is no resort.
"Very flexable and aim to please"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012

This area encompasses the bulk of the Walt Disney World® Resort, including futuristic Epcot®, Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, Disney-MGM Studios®, and the Magic Kingdom® Park. In a place rife with photo ops, Cinderella’s storybook castle is among the most photographed. The Disney-branded hotels here cater to economy and luxury budgets.
see all hotels in Lake Buena Vista"very nice hotel"
This is a very clean and beautiful hotel. Lots to do close by. Good for families also. Be prepared for the additional taxes and room charges.
"Overpriced non-Disney resort"
I hate to give a poor review bc I liked the hotel accomodations and the convenient location, however, the fact this hotel double charged me for resort fees and parking(which I believe to be already excessive), put a very bad taste in my mouth. This is a Starwood resort, not Disney. They follow Disney's rules bc they lease their land. I just feel you […] will enjoy a Disney moderate for the same price...and without the extra fees! Read more

"Close to all disney parks"
Everything is good, but quite expensive.
"Swan Hotel at Disney"
Nice room, great pool area, good food but the worst check-in, bell service and food service I've experienced in years. I'll stay off property next time as it appears that Disney has lost its magic. Even the Hilton staff was far more helpful and efficient.

"Glad I Stayed"
I always wanted to stay at the Swan or Dolphin and I am glad I did. I do not think I will ever stay again With the price of the rooms you should not have to pay $15.00 to enter the self parking lot and $15.00 every time you leave. A Disney resort is a much better value.
The hotel needs a major remodelling. Breakfast service really bad and expensive. They made us wait about 20 minutes when most of the tables were available. Room was clean but smelling bad..we were expecting much more for the price...
The hotel provided easy access to epcot. Valet parking was included for both days and we only spent one night.
"Mold in the bathroom wall behind the toilet"
The wall behind the toiled had mold. I took pictures and sent it to hotel not even a courtesy call so far. Location and resort area outside is great as well as restaurants. But room definitely needs refurbishing.
"watch out"
Be careful when parking they will get you for 15 per day in addition to your room charges

"Swan hotel disney orlando"
The swan did not honor our reservation even though the room was confirmed at the time of booking. The manager hallled us and would't make any effort to help us with an equal room, wantun to put us in a room overlooking a roof and by the elevator. She also spoke to us very condescending. I have been taking my children and grandchildren to disney for […] 45 years and HAVE NEVER BEEN treated so shabilly! Read more
"Walt Disney World Swan is a nice hotel, BUT beware"
,did not appreciate, nor expect, to incur additional charges upon check in. You must pay a $15 self parking fee and another charge for wifi, water, etc. PER DAY, no exceptions....
"Walt Disney World Swan Hotel"
The hotel is in a great location. We walked to the Boardwalk, Epcot, and even Hollywood Studios. The pool is very nice...my son enjoyed the water slide and both kids loved the park. On the negative side, the restaurant choices at the hotel are very minimal. We never used the dining room...it was far from the lobby and always seemed empty. The poolside […] restaurant at the Dolphin had good food, but very poor service. The computers were apparently down (but our server never communicated this to us). We waited a long, long time for our food, a long time for my 5 year old's milk, and a very long time for the bill. We complained and the Swan ultimately reimbursed us for the lunch. However, it was clear the hotel is not Disney owned because this service is unacceptable to Disney. Next time we will pay more and stay at a Disney owned resort. Overall, the Swan is a nice upgrade from the more economical hotels. Read more
Efficient service for such a crowded hotel. Very comfortable beds. Skip the character buffet. Reserve if you want to have a good dinner because the good restaurants around here fill up fast. This is a great location for going to the boardwalk, MGM Studios or Epcot.

"Beautiful Hotel by Disney"
My husband and I stayed at the Swan for the night. It was so beautiful and clean. We were given a room on the 12th floor and the view was lovely. We could see Hollywood Studios. Just to let you know... They charge for overnight parking ($15.00) or valet ($20.00). We expected it but just wanted to let you know. Bus trip to Disney was awesome as well. […] Very convienant. "Walt Disney Swan"
Excellent hotel in regards to location, amenities, room size and condition. The only thing I would like to see changed is the variety of television stations available. Though not alot of time is spent in the room, the number of stations offered is no better than at a 3rd class hotel.
the hotel is not good enough for being a 4 star
"Why pay the extra money to stay here."
This resort is the only resort on Disney property that charges EXTRA for parking. A daily rate of $15.00 per day PLUS another daily fee called the Resort Fee of $14.00 per day. WHY? I know this is a Westin Property. I will keep my Dollars at the Disney Resorts in the future becuase I know in advanced what I am getting.
"Great way to see Disney"
This hotel and the sister hotel The Dolphin are a great way to see Disney. These hotels are considered part of Disney so access to the parks are guaranteed even if the parks close due to reaching capacity limits. Easy walk to Epcot and a quick boat ride to the Studios.
"this hotel is very tired"
Not a very upscale hotel. The mattress sags and isn't very comfortable. I was very dissapointed. The grounds are pretty and the location is great.
"Swan Hotel at Disney"
The Swan hotel was centrally located to parks and the boardwalk. Transportation was convienent and frequent. Accomodations were extremely clean and comfortable. Staff was efficient, informative, and helpful. Staff checked us right in and offered upgrades for nominal fee. We will definitely stay there again.
"Awesome location"
The room was very nice and the location was awesome. We walked to Hollywood studios and Epcot, plus spent time on the boardwalk. The only negatives were you had to pay for parking, which I just hate doing and the front desk clerk had zero sense of humor...
"GPS Friendly - Easy trip during a buisy time."
We made the trip to the hotel using our GPS and had almost no traffic during the busiest time of the year. The hotel however added extras to our bill, like parking and a strange package that let them still charge full price.
"Swan Hotel Walt DIsney World"
I have no complaints about this hotel! I've stayed at most of the Disney resorts on property and this one was up to par with the rest. Very clean and comfortable, great views, super convenient location, and the best part are the Disney Extra Magic Hours. The water taxi is always such a convenient option to get to Hollywood Studios and Epcot without […] worrying about parking or traffic too. My ONLY complaint really was the room service. Each morning our breakfast was either cold or barely luke warm by the time we got it. Not that I was expecting it to be piping hot or anything but I was slightly disappointed. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel and stay here again! You definitely get your money's worth...I honestly didn't want to leave! Read more
The Swan is absolutely beautiful, staff is very helpful, and easy to get to all the parks.

"Great hotel"
This is a great hotel to stay for vacation. I'm glad I choose this hotel. I'm fully satisfy with the hotel and service.
"Run down and Poor Customer Service"
When we arrived we were impressed with the lobby and reservation front personnel was ok. The issue was when requesting towels which were not in the room at all! The guest services person was rude and condescending. When the towels finally arrived they were shabby and old. It is obvious this hotel needs some TLC and should have there star rating lowered! We […] were surprised with the bad level of service. Even worse we ate the Grove and was served cold soup which should have been hot! We were trying to enjoy the stay without being critical but he basic necessities were missing. Read more
"Excellent Staff Makes a Huge Difference"
Caitlin at the front desk make a huge difference to the stay - truly exceptional service and made the trip truly memorable for my kid.
The convenience of being able to park and forget the car was wonderful. All .lwe needed to do was hop on the bus or ferry. We were able to enjoy the parks because there was someone to take us back to the hotel. The hotel concierge was helpful but, obviously not knowledgeable about the resturant she booked our reservaations at. We paid $200.00 to have […] dinner in a bar area. After dinner, we found out that there were two other more intimate dining areas in the resturant. Breakfast was quite pricey at hotel . Read more

"The Swan - not all it could be"
We do not feel The Swan is a 4 Star Resort Hotel as advertised. While our room itself was clean and comfortable, the balcony was cramped barely fitting 2 metal chairs - the cement flooring and chairs were stained and dirty. The room overlooked the large air conditioning unit and there was a constant loud noise. The generators the maintenance/grounds […] crew used were extremely loud and disturbing. While the grounds were nicely kept and the weather beautiful, why weren't there more seating areas outside? Overall, a disappointment. Read more

"The Swan"
Excellent hotel. Clean and very friendly. Great location. Would stay there again.
"Great Hotel but lots of hidden fees"
The hotel was great and the service was good, but what they don't tell you is even though it is a Disney hotel, you still have to pay a fee to self park your car, a misc fee that they don't really explain what it's for, and a fee for using the phone and internet service even if you don't use either one in your room. So if you decide to book with the […] Swan or Dolphin, just be prepared to pay an additional $60-70 more than the price listed. Read more
"Good Value"
Good value for a Walt Disney Hotel with the Extra magic hours and disney transportation. Staff were friendly. Rooms are somewhat dated, but nice bed. Problem with green service- didn't realize that also means that they don't pick up trash and replenish toiletries. wouldn't recommend Todd English restaurant.
