"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.
"Affordable Quickie in NY"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We had a very good time and the hotel was close to work.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

Midtown Executive Club - This richly restored dining hall, part of the original Chemists' Club, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays, and continental breakfast on weekends.

A small, 24-hour fitness center contains cardio equipment.
If you're visiting in winter, take a whirl on the famous skating rink at Rockefeller Center, 4 blocks from Club Quarters Midtown - Times Square. Skate rentals are available. Or just watch the skaters glide about as the Christmas tree twinkles above. For a fresh-air workout any time of year, head to Central Park, 1 mile north of the hotel. Get your pulse racing along the scenic running and walking paths throughout the park. You can even rent a boat or bicycle. Bird-watching is another popular pastime here; the people-watching is pretty impressive, too.

Let the West Coast have Hollywood; Broadway’s lights are just as bright, and many screen actors come to the Great White Way to gain acting credibility. Area attractions include Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the Museum of Modern Art. Resplendent St. Patrick’s Cathedral takes up a block at Fifth and 50th. Once seedy, Times Square now hosts ABC, MTV, and NASDAQ.

I felt is was clean and decorated simply but eleganally. The continental breakfast on Sunday was reasonable. You get a bang for our buck!
"Outstanding"
Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near many top Manhattan attractions. The hotel staff was also very courteous. Do not hesitate to book here.
"Nice hotel"
Very clever use of space! The rooms were clean and decent size. Good neighborhood. Only dislike was that the ice machine was on the "lower level" aka basement. Other than that we loved it. We're heading to Philly in a few weeks and are considering staying at the Generals Quarters there too.
"great location and neighbourhood"
My wife and I enjoyed our stay here , it was an oasis of peace just steps away from the chaotic excitement of Times Square. The staff are knowledgeable and more than helpful. The room was as expected, clean and New York sized and adequate for our needs. We left feeling that we will gladly stay here again.

"Club Quarters Midtown"
My daughter and I did our yearly excursion to NYC for just us girls. This was our 4th year and this location was excellent. Our room, the smallest they offer, was quaint, but we were only there to rest our heads. Our first night was disturbed by the NYC sanitation services working (it seemed) all night and it was crazy loud. I asked for a new room and […] they did it without hesitation. I would stay there again. Read more
"A nice little place"
Good location near Times Square, not far from Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Bryant park, etc. Rooms are small, but nicely laid out; downstairs lounge has coffee in the morning to supplement the room machine (K-Cup).

"The hotel by Rockefeller Center"
We thought the hotel and location were fantastic. The rooms were a little to small, but it's New York and the rate was good. I would stay there again and recommend the hotel to others.

"Great stay at Club Quarters"
Quiet and comfortable hotel. Close to Times Square. Lovely staff and wonderful large lobby area.
"Club Quarters-Midtown - Great service & location"
Went to NYC with girlfriends for Broadway show and shopping. The hotel location was great. Very close to Penn Station and Theater district. Hotel staff was very helpful. They even offered to store our luggage before I even got a chance to ask the question. I thought the superior room with a queen bed and kitchenette was going to be a bit larger, but […] it is NY, so I still think it was an excellent value when factoring in location and service. "Just right for the price"
I stayed one night in a suite with 3 other adults. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. For a hotel just minutes from Times Square it was perfect for the price. I would certainly look to stay there again for a return visit.
"Good price if you're only going to be sleeping"
it was close to where we needed to be. The front desk people were just as friendly as can be. Very nice. Even though we were on the pent house floor, very small rooms. No fridge. And ice was only available on the first floor. It was great for one night, if I had to stay longer I'm sure it would have been an inconvenience. But it was just fine for […] a weekend. Read more
"Need more pillows on the bed"
That is really our only complaint if we had to have one. There were two of us sharing the room and there were only two pillows on the bed which were like sleeping on little throw pillows once we punched them into a comfortable shape. We were too busy and too tired to ask and wait for more. Wish we would have. The room had a Keurig coffeemaker which […] was nice, but ours did not work for some reason. The location of the hotel is good, the hotel, by and large is very quiet, the rooms (and the elevators) are small. Perfect for one person on business and good for two people for a short stay. "Convenient location"
This hotel is very convenient if you are going to the Girl Scout USA headquarters. It is a quick 5-10 minute walk. It is also close to Broadway and lots of restaurants. It was a very nice place to stay.
"Location, location, location"
Perfect location for theater goers. Very clean, simple room are an amazing value in NYC.
"Great place in NYC"
The location is within walking distance of the Rockefeller Center subway stop. Grand Central terminal, and Fifth Avenue shopping. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathroom aren't huge, and the floor layout is confusing. But, it's a great place for a long weekend in the city.

free wifi helps in NY, room was fine for 1 person or a couple.
"Stayed here many times and will stay again"
Perfect location. Wifi, coffee, you have everything you need. Comfortable, though not spacious. Lots of hot water in the shower plus a good hair dryer. Food downstairs in restaurant, or across the street. Very easy and convenient to subway, bus, whatever you need. Will book again.
"Great location"
The hotel is close to all the must-see sights, friendly staff , later checkout and after all I could left my luggage till took my bus. That was a great experience and we are planning to stay there with our kids

"Club Quarters Times Square - Comfortable"
The price was right. The room was clean, and the location was great. My only qualms were with the service (minor delays in readying my room) and the one tiny elevator that worked was painfully slow. Other than that, I'd stay there again.
"AMAZING!"
I stayed at the Club Quarters for the weekend and it was amazing!! I could not have asked for a better experience. The price was great and affordable for the location. The staff was very helpful, rooms were very clean, as well as hotel lobby and hallways. The location is great too, 2 blocks from Times Square and endless amount of places to eat and drink! […] I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and plan on staying here again. Read more
Great location, everything is in walking distance. Our room was rather small but very clean and suited our needs. good value for the money.
"Club Quarters - Nice Hotel, check in early"
The Club Quarters was a nice hotel and conveniently located to Times Square. The immediate surrounding area looked a little shady when checking in late at night, but proved to be fine in the morning. I checked in past Midnight and was given a room on a low floor immediately across from the elevator. Check in early if you want a better room location. […] Overall the room was comfortable... not luxurious, but then you're not paying for that. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was a 2' x 2' stall. Don't drop anything as you might not be able to bend down to pick it up. Strangely, they didn't provide any shampoo. I didn't say anything the first morning because I thought it was an oversight, but they didn't provide any shampoo with maid service that day either. Overall, it was a nice stay and I'd stay again if visiting NY on a budget. Just remember to bring your own shampoo and check in early to get a room in a quieter area of the hotel. Read more
"Good value"
A reasonably priced hotel in a great location in Manhatten. Walking distance to Times Square. Room was small but comfortable . Very small bathroom, but good counter space.
"Great Location"
