"Great Pizza across the street, close to Times Squa"
Overall good, however the room is very small. The bathroom is tiny and you would have to go outside to change your mind. Rate very high for the size of the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Wonderful hotel. Location is very convenient and price reasonable for midtown Manhattan.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good boutique hotel"
Rooms were small but clean and well appointed. Staff was helpful and friendly. Situated on a street rather than an avenue, the hotel was very quiet. Good central neighborhood.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel with perfect location"
My husband and I were there 4 nights, loved location, close to theatre, restaurants, and just far enough from the craziness of times squareGenuine Expedia guest review

It was a good experience staying in this hotel. The staff were kind and friendly 24/7. Our bedroom and bathroom were really tiny but it's NYC! There were a problem with the A/C and was fixed promptly. The location is great!!! 5th Av just half block, Grand Central Station 5 min walking distance, Rockefeller Center 8 min. "Perfect for one night in the city"
I traveled to New York for business and thought I'd try Club Quarters since it is very close to my offices. It was very convenient and the staff was welcoming. They asked if I was a light sleeper and placed me in a room that was just right.Genuine Expedia guest review
This is an excellent value hotel. I wanted a hotel that was not too expensive and was near Times Square. Perfect on both fronts. "Great location Midtown NYC"
I liked the hotel and will stay there again so long as my room is not on the 45th St side. It is very noisy due to nightly trash pick-up. "convenient location, good value"
The hotel offered good value for my money relative to New York City standards. The upkeep was excellent. The free coffee and filtered water was appreciated. It was very close to everything we wanted to do and to Grand Central Station. Room had plenty of outlets for charging phones, computers, ipad and camera!!! Coffee in room was nice. "Overall Very Good Value"
The Club Quarters Midtown Hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of quality, comfort, convenience, service, and price. I knew beforehand going in to my stay that the rooms are a bit small (but very functional) so there were no surprises. I can highly recommend this hotel to others staying in NYC.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place in midtown -- at a price"
I've stayed on this hotel before, on business, and brought my husband this time as part of a summer vacation. We opted for a larger room than I normally get, and that was a benefit. However, the furnishings are getting worn and soiled. And the hotel rates have increased to such an extent that you would expect better maintenance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
In a nut shell, the location of the hotel is great. It's in walking distance from Times Square, Central Park, 5th Avenue, Upper East side, Madison Ave, Rockefeller Plaza and the list goes on. The rooms are a bit small but you're in New York, what do you really expect? The rooms were very clean, friendly staff and awesome coffee and expresso machine […] in the main lobby. It was quiet enough to get a good nights rest without a bunch of city noise. Overall our experience was GREAT and we will stay there again (definitely) when we go back to NY. Despite my previous unhappiness with the parking situation at a DC Club Quarters, I decided to stay at this one. The parking garage was much closer and as the hotel staff gave us a voucher right away, there were no issues getting the car. The location is awesome! At one end of the street was 5th avenue, and then only about 2 blocks in the other direction […] was Times Square. Could not beat that for the price! The room was a bit small, but it got the job done. It was nice that there were complimentary bottles of water. There were supposed to be extra towels in the Guest Closet on our floor as well, however they were not replenished either day we were there. The hotel staff were very prompt in bringing us extra ones, though. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely come back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Close to Times Square and Rockefeller Plaza. The staff was very helpful, but our room wasn't ready when we showed up about 4:00 to check in. We had to wait another hour. Room was clean, but small. Just a shower stall, no tub. Our view was of the back alley, so nothing to look at. Neighborhood had several restaurants that put all their trash out front […] every day for pickup. "Excellent location. Friendly service. Fair value"
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Booked a triple room and they gave us one with a double bed fold-able bed which was slightly uncomfortable for our teenage son, but it’s OK. After all, who’s wants to sleep when in New York City for a couple of days? Staff was friendly and helpful. The day we checked out we had no problem keeping our luggage at […] the hotel past our check out time. The lobby is nice and has an old charm to it. There is free coffee and soda and two computers if you want to check your mail; revisit plans or print a confirmation. There is Wi-Fi… fast and free for all. There is a restaurant inside the hotel where you can have breakfast but was not included in our room rate. That worked better because there must be 4 or 5 cafes steps from the hotel where you can have a nice breakfast. One of them wasacross the hotel. Manhattan Café I think. It offered endless variety for breakfast and lunch and cheap too. Location was ideal… minutes from the phenomenal Times Square with all the lights and noise, yet in a quiet, charming typical NYC street. The hotel is minutes from Grand Central station and several subway and bus stops. Taxis are not very expensive in NYC. Actually they are a cheaper option for groups of 3 or 4 on short trips. But are hard to find. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Mid town location good for Broadway"
Hotel service at check in and out was great. Friendly and helpful. Room a bit small but that wasn't a surprise. Though next to elevators was quiet which meant a lot to me. Only disappointment was the coffee machine in lobby produced something, but it wasn't coffee....fortunately a Pret Manger was just a couple doorways walk.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good, but not great"
Good size room. Nice quality bed. Small bathroom. Mentioned to the front desk about the soap scum in the shower, it never got cleaned through our three nights. The street had a street fair that was crazy loud all night. There were ear plugs on the desk. Now I understand why. Get an interior room to avoid the noise. You can hear everything in the halls […] from the room, but that is typical for NYC hotels. Restaurant was fine. Decent price. Good location. I would go back, just to an interior room away (and away from the elevator) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very small room, but you don't go to NYC to hang out in your room, right? Overall, it was a good experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"In the heart of Broadway theater"
We loved the hotel and the service. We would definitely stay again. We had a corner room and it had a decent amount of space for a NYC hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The dining room and food was very good too. The only unpleasant aspect was the garbage on the street from neighboring restaurants and stores.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Acceptable business hotel"
I was in town for a conference August 7th and stayed the night before for one night. The hotel was clean and quiet. I believe it was recently renovated in the last couple of years. It's a small hotel. I thought the check-in desk was the concierge at first. The room was very small. I had a single queen bed which (along with the desk) took up almost the […] entire room. Walk-in shower (rather than a tub). Since I was only there for one night I didnt get a chance to use any of the ammenities. I was in a rear facing room I think..looking out on an alley...on the 6th floor. It was very quiet for being on such a low floor but no view at all. With that said, I think its a fine hotel for a businessman who's only staying a night or two. Honestly I dont think I'd pick it for a family vacation or longer stay as I think it would feel too cramped. I stayed last year at another hotel closer to central park which had very nice sized rooms for roughly the same price. The location of the Club Quarters, however, was the main selling point for me as it was only a block from the conference location. The location itself is very good. Only about 5 blocks from Times Square one way and Grand Central the other way. Other factors that influenced my choice were the reviews of others and the price. Most of the reviews seemed pretty accurate. Quiet, clean, good location but very small rooms. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Two thumbs up!"
If you're planning a trip to New York, I'm happy to recommend staying at the Club Quarters on 45th St. It's affordable (by NYC standards), clean, friendly, and located a block and a half east of Times Square...between 5th and 6th. It has healthy food options across the street and down the block. The wifi is complimentary (nice!), and they have iPads […] to loan if you need one. Was a little bummed that there wasn't a small fridge in the room, but my favorite amenities include the water bottle filling station on each floor, the Keurig coffee maker, fluffy towels, and the charging dock by the bed! Thumbs up, Club Quarters! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Covenient and clean but noisy"
I have stayed here before, will probably book again should the price be right with the option to choose a non street facing room. Location is very convenient, close to time squar, if visiting on leisure. On my last visit about 18 months ago seemed the rooms were recently redone, they have aged but remain neat and clean.Rooms are small but adequate, the […] building is old, with narrow stairways and a slow elevator. On this stay, my room on the. 5th floor had a window air conditioning unit installed, despite having the usually AC vents on the wall. Suggesting the central AC system was not functional. The problems with the window mounted unit is firstly the noise of the unit itself and secondly it makes the street noise clear and loudly audible. Sounds like the window is open all the time. It's also untidily fixed into place with the use of what looks like a metal plate. Additionally it robs the room of natural light, by taking the space of one of the two windows. I barely slept the first night due to all night loud construction on the street in front of the hotel. The hotel has complimentary snacks and beverages on certain days, time restrictions apply. As well as free bottled water on certain floors. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fine stay, a couple problems"
Stay started off badly, as the self-checkin kiosk was not working (but still double-charged my card when I slid it—obviously the charge later came off). Also, when I did finally get to talk to someone, my room was not ready, even though I was three hours later than check-in. I waited in the lobby about 15 min to before I finally got in. The situation […] was handled okay considering, but it was very frustrating. The rest of the stay was fine. The room was clean and nice, and there was an Oxford English Dictionary on the desk, which I thought was unusual and great! The water pressure in the shower was low and the shower took ages to heat up. Everything else was just fine, though. I'll think twice about staying here again if I know I'm going to be in a rush. Otherwise, I'd do it again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Great location and the rooms are very well thought out, great price to boot. Love the lounge on the main floor with the endless coffee / cappuccino / tea.
