"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

We had a very good time and the hotel was close to work.
""Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.
"Nice hotel in the theatre district"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012

Let the West Coast have Hollywood; Broadway’s lights are just as bright, and many screen actors come to the Great White Way to gain acting credibility. Area attractions include Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the Museum of Modern Art. Resplendent St. Patrick’s Cathedral takes up a block at Fifth and 50th. Once seedy, Times Square now hosts ABC, MTV, and NASDAQ.

"Fantastic hotel. Stylish hotel"
It has the feel and attention to detail of a boutique hotel. The location is superb. Staff very friendly and attentive. Comfortable bed, newly redone bathroom, very clean. Our room was a little on the small side, but it is NY.

Everything was very good about this hotel. Our room was very nice but kind of small. Biggest drawback was that our only window faced a brick wall. it was difficult to even tell what the weather was like outside. Would stay again, but request a different room.
"Room was small but overall clean and comfortable"
I would definately consider stayinghere again.
"Terrific Hotel"
I wish I could have stayed many more days. A lovely boutique hotel just off of Times Square - quiet and fabulous staff. The rooms are small, but very comfortable and recently updated. I would highly recommend this hotel. The price was terrific for NYC.
"Upgraded"
The hotel staff was very friendly. We got a lovely room upgrade, view with a bay window!

"Affordable luxury in good location"
Block and a half from Times Square. Reasonable walk to theaters, to 30 Rock, to 5th Avenue stores. Wonderful bathroom products (Molton Brown). Small hotel with helpful service. Great Concierge. French restaurant is good, but pricey. Bar is nice, but popular. Need reservations for the bar usually. Rooms are quite small, but it's NYC. Taxis typically […] easy to get. Read more

"service"
Service from bar tender in the back bar was rude.
Small but very well situated. The service was very good , rooms small but comfortable & clean. The had one elevator but it was large and fast. I will stay there again. The location was great and near my favorite Greek restaurant
"hotel near times square"
convenient location--walkabe to grand central station, times square, and theatre district. very friendly staff my only complaint was the noisy plumbing, and small rooms--but bed was very comfortable. Ive heard that new york rooms were small, this one was!!! but still very comfortable for 2 people

"Lovely Hotel / Great Location"
The Iroquois Hotel - located in the heart of the theater district. Great location, clean, modern rooms, excellent service. I will stay there again when I return to New York.

The elevator was being repaired and the room was very noisy, so the staff relocated us to a higher floor, and was most solicitous.

"Iroquois in New York City"
Great hotel and a great location. We really enjoyed it. I will definitely stay there again. No complaints at all.
"The Iroquois Is Great!"
This was our fist time at the Iroquios and we will definitely be back! It is a wonderful boutique hotel. It had everything you could ever want. The room was nice, a little small but well decorated. The bathroom was the nicest hotel bathroom that I EVER seen! We loved it! Both the Lantern's Keep and the Triomphe were great. We had breakfast in the Triomphe […] twice and it was excellent. The location of this hotel is perfect! We have stayed in the city many times but this spot is just perfect, close to Times Square yet far enough away to be a workd apart. We will be back! Read more
"Wonderful little gem"
Loved this quaint hotel, location is excellent for theatre, shopping, Rockefeller Center, restaurants, etc. Rooms are a little small, but typical of a small hotel in NYC. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a small, intimate French restaurant and a cozy bar, both charming and delicious.

"Expensive and old"
I was in town for a combo business/pleasure trip from Feb 10 - 14, 2012 and after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures, I was looking forward to a stay at the Iroquois. Sadly, I was quite disappointed. Although I don't mind staying in older hotels in NY, this one definitely seemed like it had not been very updated at all, especially for the […] price. My main issues: Lighting was VERY poor in my one-bedroom suite. If there is a spot for an overhead light (which there was), there should be an overhead light. I felt like I was groping around in the dark my entire stay The closet was incredibly small. I expect more when I pay the price of a suite The first couple of days, the maid left SEVERAL tip envelopes around the suite, and then did it again for turndown service. I felt this was overkill and made me not want to tip at all. Isn't standard procedure to tip when leaving, not throughout entire stay? It made me nervous that, if I wasn't tipping throughout, what would happen? I have stayed in many high-end hotels and found this behavior disturbing. Noisy, though I know the hotel can't help that. I was on the 5th floor. On a positive note, the doorman always had a smaile and was very helpful. I think that's the only thing I can say about this hotel that was above average. I'll definitely not stay here again. Read more
"Convenient, spacious midtown hotel"
A midwinter sale gave me the chance to stay at this wonderful hotel, with its great cocktail bar and yummy restaurant. Surprisingly spacious suite, fairly quiet for the area, and conveniently located midtown location.
"The Iroquois Hotel in NYC is the best!"
A better overall experience cannot be had in NYC than staying at The Iroquois hotel. Their entire staff gets the highest marks possible for their genuine friendliness, helpfullness, and attention to detail. The location is extremely convenient to almost everything a person could possibly want or need to do while in Manhattan.

Our stay at the Iroquois was most enjoyable.
"Quaint hotel with good location"
We have never stayed here before having stayed at a number of other hotels in the area. I do like to stay at the Luxury Small Hotels of the world so was excite to try the Iroquois. The staff was quite pleasant and helpful. I was quite disappointed by the layout and size of our room. Two people could barely be in the same room together it was that tight. […] I wish I had looked at another room as this is the only thing preventing me from absolutely raving about the hotel. Otherwise it was a very nice experience Read more

"Excellent NYC location"
We stayed overnight for a quick getaway for the holiday. The hotel was clean and upscale. The service was terrific and the staff was accommodating to our 5 year old daughter. Thank you so much!
"Iroquois = Fabulous"
We stayed the weekend before Christmas, NY was a madhouse ( in a good way) but the staff were cool, calm, collected and very professional. The concierge was phenominal, assisted in getting tickets to Warhorse that Saturday. Not inexpensive, but hey, it's NY. Physically well appointed, no street noise.
Spent a weekend in NY for Christmas, the hotel offered us the perfect location for the sites and our room was spacious for a NY hotel and clean. Would stay there again
"Iroquois Hotel in New York"
Hotel is a great boutique hotel and is very conenvient to Times Square and midtown. We went with our little kids and got a suite. While this hotel is geared a little more toward business/adult crowd, the suite was very spacious for a family and the people there were really nice and friendly and they really liked the kids (had little kids gift pack and […] good kid-friendly recommendations). We really enjoyed our stay and the Iroquois had a lot to do with it being a really great trip. Read more
"Great place with EXCELLENT service!"
Stayed for a romantic night with my fiancee as we both live in NYC...it was a good choice! The original room we stayed in was rather cold and despite the engineer trying to increase the temperature is remained a touch chilly. I spoke with Patrick on the front desk (excellent guy) and he showed me 2 much larger rooms and let us make our choice. We upgraded […] @ no extra cost with a minimum of fuss which was massively appreciated. Really good hotel, very clean with mature old school vibe. Recommended!!!!! Read more

"The Iroquois in New York City - tiny but beautiful"
We booked a room with two desperate beds for two days. When we checked in, the person at the front desk did not mention anything. And, we I got in the room, the room has only one bed and it was super tiny room. When I called them, they didn't say I'm sorry. They said on our system it seems like you booked a one bed room, and they said they will call […] me back. After 5 minutes, she said there was a problem and they will upgrade our room, which was great for me. Thus, we eventually got a room with separate living room. It was a spacious and pretty room. The only one thing I seriously hated about this hotel is that in the living room, I basically could hear everything happening in the next room. The hotel provides a Bose speaker, and I enjoyed this one. But, after 5 minutes, I had to turn it off because the man staying at the next room said, " oh my god" and they blame me listening music. Also, I could hear what they were taking about when I'm staying in the living room. So, I was wondering what if I stayed at the small tiny room.... Overall, it is a pretty hotel and the maintenance was good. Also, loved Molton brown's amenities. When u book this hotel, I recommend you upper class room. Otherwise, you will have a super tiny room. I wanted to extend my stay one more day, I moved to 5th ave not this hotel Read more
"GREAT HOTEL-THE IROQUOIS IN NYC!!!"
Great experience at The Iroquois!!! I read reviews before selecting this hotel and I am here to say that my stay there was just as I read! Beautiful hotel with clean rooms, beautiful bathroom, great location (so, so close to Times Square, 5th Ave shopping, Rockefeller Center, etc.) and a wonderful and helpful staff! My thanks to the Bellman THOMAS from […] New Orleans who was just a sweetheart and so very helpful. Such a gentleman! Everyone was great there. Thank you and I will be back again. Read more

"The Iroquois Hotel - Lovely"
Our room was very charming... and very clean. Beautiful little bathroom. Great location.. Walking distance to Times Square, Broadway shows, 5th Avenue shopping and subways. The hotel staff was friendly. We were just doing an overnight and checked out around 10am. The hotel kept our luggage for us until 10pm when we were heading home. You pay additional […] for parking but the lot is right across the street. Nice Coffee and Tea to go shop right across the street. Read more

"The Iroquois Hotel in NYC - close to Times Square"
Loved this hotel! Highly recommend it!. It is only a few short blocks to Times Square, but is on a nice and quiet street. At the end of the day it is nice to get away from all the craziness of Times Square - into a totally relaxing, luxurious environment. Staff was very helpful and friendly. VERY reasonably priced. We will definitely return in the future […] and recommend this hotel to everyone. Read more
"very nice"
Great hotel, wonderful service. Only blemish is the gym, equipment getting old and squeaky.
"Not s good as last time"
I stayed here because I had had a fabulous experience the last time I was there. Check-in great. Restaurant great. People nice. However the tap in the bathroom leaked water out the top when I turned it on. By far the worst part of the trip was the fact that they missed not one but two wake-up calls the next morning. I'f I was staying with my girl-friend […] like last time, who'd have cared. BUT, I was taking an early plane to Singapore, and luckily woke up about 40 minutes after my second scheduled Sunday wake-up call--clearly communicated upon return from Friday night's entertainment upon passing the desk. I don't expect that in a 4-star hotel where the language of business is English. I have had other memorable trips before. Time before, I left a credit card in the restaurant, and they held it for me for two weeks while I was away in the Far East. I chalk it up to an off day, in an off-room. Read more
