The front desk and supporting staff exceeded beyond measure during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I plan to stay in this hotel when we return to NYC.

Although expensive by normal standards - the hotel was a great value compared with other hotels in the Time Square area. The breakfast alone is worth $50 a day for a couple in NY. I would recommend eating early - it's a buffet in a confined area. The crowd gets large after 9 AM. The staff was very courteous, the view was a nice city view, the bed was fabulous and the locatioon was perfect. Strongly recommned it for people doing a show. Chuck

We go to see plays and the location worked very well for that and other things we wanted to do.

The staff was accommodating; they gave me a breakfast bag to-go the night before, because I left prior to the start of breakfast. My only complaint: there's no recycling in the hotel for paper and cans. I enjoyed the flat screen and free wireless in my room. Great option.

Hotel was picked for convenience of location. (We were having dinner at Sosa Borella and seeing Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre.) The Hampton Inn was not worth the price paid. The previous hotel we had stayed at was just as accessible and enjoyable. I will not stay at the Hampton Inn again. Our major complaint came as we left the hotel. We asked the bellhop to get us a cab. Instead of trying to get a taxi off the street, he immediately called someone to make sure we had a car. We assumed he was calling a taxi because he mentioned having difficulty hailing one earlier in the day for another guest. Well, we did not get a taxi, but rather a small limo. Not what we asked for. We were told it'd run about $35 to the airport but when we arrived at LaGuardia we were informed it was $45 instead! It took every last dollar we had and we were still short money. We would have been better off hailing a cab ourselves. Fail, Hampton Inn.

We walked everywhere in the area and felt safe. The hotel was great. Nice rooms, great service from the staff, good breakfast. We primarily stayed at this location because we thought it would be close to where we wanted to go and because it had free breakfast. It was a little more than some others we looked at, but having the breakfast included worked well for us. That was one less meal we had to think about. Highly recommend. Neither of us had ever been to NYC before, but we hope to return and we would definitely choose to stay here again.

We chose the Hampton for the availability of queen size beds, most other NYC hotels are doubles. Cleanliness was OK, not as good as other Hamptons. Loved the breakfast bar, it was very crowded but they replenished the food often. It was nice not having to go outside the hotel for the morning coffee. Parking was right next door and convenient. Getting in and out of Manhattan wasn't that bad since the Lincoln Tunnel is nearby. We would definitely stay here again, given the location and convenience.
