Restaurant Above - The Hilton’s 21st-floor restaurant, adjacent to the lobby and overlooking 42nd street, has a contemporary American menu with French influences. It serves three meals daily, including a buffet or à la carte breakfast, and offers the option of a prix-fixe, pre-theater menu. The menu changes seasonally.
Pinnacle Bar - The lobby’s freestanding, marble-topped bar, right next to the restaurant, is furnished with leather seats, banquettes, and a row of bar stools at the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bar offers light fare and a specialty cocktail list, as well as the option of ordering from the main restaurant menu. Open from early afternoon until after midnight.
Room Service - Available 24 hours.
Some of NYC’s best-known landmarks are north of 14th and south of 59th—or Midtown Manhattan. Here, couples kiss atop the Empire State Building. Grand Central Station’s opal-faced clock is a famed meeting spot. While fortunes are made on Wall Street, fortunes are spent at Fifth Avenue’s shops. Other highlights include Madison Square Garden, the United Nations, and the Garment and Diamond districts.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Bring in the heart of Times Square, I had doubts… I thought it might be noisy or trashed or crowded. It was none of those things. And the things that were there impressed me. Between 41st and 42nd Streets (between Seventh and Eight), the location couldn’t be better. Restaurants galore within a blocks walk. Theaters, nightlife, bars, etc. all around. My room was very pleasant. Clean and modern and ultra comfy. I had a desk with two chairs plus a club chair with an ottoman. I would stay here again for sure!

Great hotel for first time visitors like us. Staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms are big and comfortable. Time Square is on the doorstep with all its razzamataz.. However, with the hotel starting on the 23rd floor you are not disturbed with the noise of the streets below. Book rooms as high as possible as the views are fantastic. Uptown facing rooms capture the essence of Time Square / Hudson River whereas Downtown facing rooms give you views of the Empire State Building. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wasn't expecting much, having lived in NYC and knowing that for under $300 a night you can't get much there. However, the room was modern and fairly clean. We did have to wait upon checking in, though, which I didn't really like. The lobby is rather dirty, also, which was a negative. Still, the stay was mostly good (and surprisingly quiet, given the Times Square location). Only BIG negative was that the maid service knocked on our door at 9:00 AM despite a clearly placed "do not disturb" tag. When we complained about this, the staff didn't seem to care. Overall, a decent stay for the money.

Right in the middle of 42nd Street, the Hilton Times Square is an oasis of calm and civility among the loud, glitzy, commercialism of the sidewalk outside - jam packed with tourists. Getting back and forth to the hotel between noon and midnight is a bit of an obstacle course. The hotel is just steps from the major subway interchanges of 42nd Street - really convenient for getting anywhere in the city. The staff is first-rate -courteous and professional. Highly recommended.

I stayed at Hilton Times Square in August. Location is perfect, it is right in the middle of the island. The tours all started and ended within 1 block of the hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly, they all went out of their way to be helpful. Our group was 3 adults with 3 children. A lot to do for people of all ages in that immediate area. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel is one block from Times Square and walking distance to most theaters. Had a fairly large room on the 41st floor with a nice view facing north on 42nd street. With the window closed you could barely hear the noise from the street, although it was nice to be able to open it if you wanted to hear the "life" below. The room was clean and very comfortable. Ordered room service & it only took 15 minutes to arrive. The Belgium waffle with real maple syrup was excellent and the fruit was ripe and tasty. Of course, you pay a premium for all of this but this is NYC. There is even a loaded minibar in the room.(a little pricey, but still less than the hotel bar.)All in all, this is a quality hotel & I would definitely stay here again.

Overall I liked the Hilton. It's in the heart of Times Square. The rooms were nice and you get great views of the city. The housekeeping staff was unprofessional in that they spent quite a bit of time in the hallway talking about how much they hate their jobs and the guests who complained about their work. My family attempted to enjoy the bar in the lobby, but no one would serve us because they were too busy watching the All Star Game on television.

The hotel was located in the middle of Times Square amongst all of the activity, central to lots of restaurants, Broadway plays and other activities (on same block as Ripley's Believe It or Not and Madame Tussaud's). The hotel lobby and rooms are actually above the 20th floor so you are away from the noise of all of the Time Square activity. The hotel staff was very courteous and attentive to needs and requests. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family who want to be in the middle of the action while staying in New York. If you don't want to be surrounded by lots of people immediately upon exiting the hotel, you should probably choose another location outside of Times Square.

Right off Times Square with entrances on both 41st and 42nd Streets. Entrances are not well marked so you need to know where you are going. Lot's of crowds around the 42nd Street entrance but this is the trade-off you accept for being within walking distance of all the Broadway theaters. Rooms start on the 23rd floor (the lobby is on the 21st). We were on the 26th floor. Very little traffic noise found its way into our room. The room was quite large by New York standards and very comfortable. Rates were very reasonable.

We asked for late check-out and they gave us till 2:00PM (check-out is usually 12 noon). Only problem we had was getting an internet connection. We didn't let them know but am assuming that they would have taken care of it. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on their dining options.

From the moment we arrived in our Taxi we were treated like very special guests. Everyone we encountered was welcoming and lovely. We were able to get into our room early which was great. We didn't eat at the restaurant, so I can't comment on that, but the bartender was extremely friendly. I didn't buy any drinks at the bar, but on a couple of occasions I approached the bar with a bottle of wine and he came over and opened it for me-even gave me a couple of wine glasses. Concierge was very helpful in getting me a good rate on a car to the airport. Convenient to everything you might need-pharmacy, liquor store, restaurants and of course, we were able to walk to the theatres. We were on the 36 floor and it was super quiet. I highly, highly recommend this property.

This hotel is in a fab spot...right in the heart of Times Square. restaurants and bars to suit all budgets on the doorstep and a short walk out the back door, down 8th Ave to 34th St for great shopping. The rooms were so light and spacious & the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Hotel bar and mini bar however, was unjustly expensive. Otherwise, I would highly reccomend it. It made our St. Pat's Day trip most enjoyable. Tip to New Yorkers...Don't ask for tips, it's offensive & you'd get a bigger one if you leave it to the customers discretion!!!
