We stayed here to attend a wedding that was being held at the hotel across the street. I felt like the room was extremely over priced, but all hotels in Nashville that were in a decent location had high rates that weekend. It was what I expected. The critiques I could give is that the water pressure in the shower could have been better but the water was very warm which was great. The iron in the room didn't get very hot but that might be by design. The only reason I gave "Quality of hotel service" a 4 is because I think it's bad service to make your guests pay for parking […] per night. $20 per night is ridiculous and the garage is so tiny that it was hard to get in and out and turned around. We had a nice stay. The complimentary breakfast was a nice dining area. We had concert tickets at the Brookstone arena and we were within walking distance of downtown Nashville and great places to eat. We had a good time and only one night at the hotel but exceeded our expectations.

Arrived at the hotel and was first put in a room where the door did not even reach the bottom of the to touch the floor. You could literally look into the room from the bottom of the door. I walked into a room that was semi clean. I immediately called the front desk to change rooms. Hotel was great! When we first arrived they pulled up pur reservation right away and also gave us a map of downtown and a sheet of paper of recommended placed to eat and see while we were in town. They also explained that they had a shuttle that would take us anywhere within a two mile radius of the hotel. Later that evening we went downstairs to take […] the shuttle downtown(we didnt know it was close enough to walk) they explained to us that the shuttle was broken down but they rented a limo and it would be waiting for us outside. I thought that was pretty cool that instead of saying we were out of luck they fixed the problem. Perfect location!!! 5 blocks from downtown! Perfect for us! Last but not least.. we had a rental car the first two days we were there. It was 20 dollars a night to park. When i got the bill it was for three nights of parking. I called the front desk and they took care of it right away, no hassle! Free breakfast was great and every afternoon they had cookies and lemonade! Great place!! Read more

We had a good experience at Holiday Inn Express. The location to downtown was just far enough away to get away from a very active weekend night life. We did rent a car for further locations and had to pay for the overflow lot when we origionally had been told free parking. Though our car was safe for $10 each night. I travel for my business and stay at many hotels across the US. Although my trip to Nashville was productive and fun, the hotel room left a little to be desired. The bedskirt was torn and ill-fitting and the matress was very uncomfortable. The lobby and staff were wonderful and the free breakfast that they offered was fantastic! It was one of the highlights. […] I just think that the rooms were very outdated and needed a facelift. The proximity to downtown Nashville nightlife was fabulous! It was only 5 blocks from all of the music clubs and Bridgestone Arena where concerts and hockey games are featured. If you are spending little time in your room and are in Nashville to see the sites, then this hotel is tolerable. If you are there for business and need a great night sleep, then this hotel is a little pricey for what it offers. Read more

The only good thing about the Hotel was the location. The room was average, the staff was friendly and helpful, but you get what you pay for. I have stayed at four different hotels in the downtown area and this was by far the worst of them. For a few dollars more a night you could stay at a hotel that in much cleaner and nicer. I choose this hotel because […] I wanted to split the distance from downtown and the west end. Bottom line, I will not stay here again. The 4.2 rating is not accurate. Beautiful lobby and mostly friendly staff. Underground parking garage is very tight and extremely expensive in my opinion. Room had a musty odor in it but the bed was very comfortable. Excellent complimentary breakfast in the morning. Hotel is very well located for Titans games and even better for concerts at the Bridgestone Arena

Good location. Easy walk to downtown. Walk back was up hill but cab was 4-6 bucks. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were all very nice and helpful. My only complaint us $20 parking fee daily!

The surprise $20 for parking when there was no other parking available almost pi$$ed me off. But when the TV didn't work, I got a $20 credit. There shouldn't be a surprise parking fee, it should be brought up, up front.

For the most part, the hotel stay was decent. It was one of the few places that had an outdoor pool. My wife and I were frustrated with the housekeeping staff on more than one occasion. We were greeted at recepton by Claudia, she set the tone for the whole visit. What a delightful, polite, professional young lady; a real asset to Holiday Inn. Claudia made check in a breeze. With his Holiday Inn points card, my husband was given a scratch off card with the opportunity to win one of several prizes, he won a room upgrade. Our room on […] the 8th floor was newly renovated. The hallway, although newly carpeted still showed its age, scuff marks on walls and doors etc. (Although I did see housekeeping cleaning scuff marks from around the elevator areas later in our stay). The room was a good size with a flat screen tv, large refrigerator, ipod music station and coffee maker. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom, although older looking was clean. The location was perfect for our needs; just a short walk from the very center of Music City itself. The free hot breakfast was far better than many; it included sausage gravy and biscuits, warmed cinnamon rolls, and a pancake maker, to name just few items. The manager on duty when we checked out was equally efficient and friendly as all the other staff we came into contact with. All in all a very positive experience. Hotel was four blocks away from everything. Rahman, country music hall of fame an bars, bars and more bars. The shuttle service went anywhere in a two mile radius till 10:45 pm. Hotel was literally 10 minutes from the airport. Great couples weekend!
