"It was just lovely!"
The Bourbon Orleans Hotel was lovely in every way. We were very comfortable in our room, it's located really close to Jackson Square, the staff is helpful and kind. Everything I look for in a hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Comfortable room, amazing cocktails.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Feels like we are coming home!"
Chef Joey and Chef Danny fixed us wonderful meals while there for breakfast and dinner. We really loved the bar set up in the lobby. It was fun to hang out there! Keyisha hooked us up with a King suite, all on one floor vs a two story suite. We loved the view from the 6th floor! Steven made some fabulous drinks for us in the bar to end the summer with […] a bang! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The location was perfect for Southern Decadence. The room was also one of the largest I've ever had in New Orleans and on the first floor which was a plus. We were greeted with complementary cocktails and I thought it was a nice touch. The lobby literally smelled like flowers and the valet was convenient, quick, and actually not very expensive. I will […] stay here every time I come back for a quick trip to New Orleans. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"In the middle of all of it!"
If your going for the nite life and the adventure of the Quarter stay here. The Bourbon Bar (fun Bar) steps onto Bourbon St.. We were there for Southern Decadence so all the festivities were right outside the Hotel. Great stay, very comfy beds and the a/c was wonderful after a long humid day in the NO. will returnGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Awesome! The hotel is so convenient to everything. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional! Great service, Great hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Always a great stay"
Love the Bourbon Orleans for location. This visit we think housekeeping really deserves kudos. So quick and accommodating! Really very appreciative for the great service! Thanks for a wonderful stay!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value and location"
The rooms are ok but without a fridge. Location is prime but parking expensive if you drive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was amazing! we had a little problem with getting stuck in the elevator..but we jokingly put it down the the ghost messing with us! :)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Enjoyed Bourbon Orleans"
Stayed here many times. Rooms and hotel are very nice. Room doors are paper thin though and you can hear everything on the hallway. Including the sound of flip flops. Other than the noise in the hallway, a very nice hotel right on Bourbon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Door knob that lead out to balcony was very very loose. Could see outside through the hole. There was a functioning dead bolt. However, I would definitely stay there again. Friendly staff and great location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel but no parking"
This is a beautiful hotel right in the middle of the French Quarter, within walking distance of almost everything but be aware that using the valet parking is your only real option for parking. Beautiful, historic hotel with a great staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good stay but need to work on parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The best hotel ever!!!"
These pop people went out of their way to ensure pleasure & quality during my stay there!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great place to stay"
I grew up outside of NOLA and have been gone from the area for over 30 years. Once a year my wife and I visit our favorite city in the south and always enjoy ourselves. In the past the hotels have been the big let down, but this time it was a great experience. The staff were alway helpful from the front door to the back rooms. The climate inside the […] hotel was fresh, cool and dry, very much lacking the "dank" feeling of other hotels in the Quarters. This is our new go to place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great hotel smack in the middle of the French Quarter - which also means it is noisy by definition. Friendly service oriented employees. Highly recommended.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a wonderful boutique hotel will certainly make a return visit. Great location and people watching.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"History in the Frenchquarter"
Awesome staff, awesome room. Everything about this stay was perfect. No problems checking in or out, clean room, hotel is full of history and absolutely beautiful. Only downside was that valet parking was the ONLY option and was close to $50 a night, however this is normal in the frenchquarter at most hotels. If you get a chance, check out the ballroom […] upstairs. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The Bourbon Orleans has a great location just off of Bourbon St, however (I'm guessing because of its historical location) the rooms were tiny. No mini fridge, no microwave, and only about a foot worth of walking space around the bed. It was good for a one night stay, but I'd be unlikely to stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff is super attentive. Building is old but charming. We would stay there again. Super close to everything you need in the quarter.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A great location in the French Quarter"
The stay was enjoyable, the hotel is close to all the activities in the French Quarter. It is walking distance to great restuarants, the casino and musuems.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great rooms, convenient location. The closest elevator was the staff elevator which wasn't in the best condition, but the rooms were clean and service was great. Will be back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was perfectly located for all activities. This was our first visit to New Orleans so was a little disappointed to find Bourbon street so un-kid friendly but the hotel is walking distance to so many other areas. We loved our stay and would definitely stay at this hotel again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is very well located in the French Quarter. Parking is very expensive.. but that seems to be a New Orleans problem.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"In the middle of the French quartes"
An excellent hotel that I would recommend to anyone. The location was excellent, just by Bourbon Street, and the hotel interior was very nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful hotel, staff was excellent. A Treat!!"
I would highly recommend this hotel . The staff, food proximity to the sights. Well worth the 12 hour driveGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, lots of old world charm!"
The hotel is an older building but has been nicely maintained and restored. The rooms are spacious with newer fixtures and furnishings. Comfortable beds and top notch service at check in and concierge. The location is amazing as it's right on Bourbon Street and fairly close to downtown and the the river area too. I would definitely stay here again for […] the price we paid it was a really good fit. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Just close enough"
This was a great hotel because it was close enough to the action to be convenient but not so close it wasn't quiet. Great way to experience New OrleansGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, great hotel"
Right in the middle of all the action! Seconds away from Bourbon St. and all the great restaurants in the French Quarter. Great room and surprisingly quiet for being so close to all the revelry. The staff was amazing my entire stay. Can't wait to go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great overall stay! Friendly, helpful staff! We had two rooms booked and one was a corner room and we were pleasantly surprised that it had a separate sitting room with an additional TV....Would book there again and will!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great room, great service!"
When we arrived we asked the concierge if there was a quiet room that wasn't right on Bourbon St. He immediately upgraded us to a better room that was comparitively more quiet than the rest. That was great! Rooms were clean with great amenities. Complementary drinks too.. I wasn't crazy about New Orleans as a whole -- too smelly and dirty--but the hotel […] was really nice! "First trip to Nawlins"
Everyone was very kind and pleasant. The valet and bell hops were extremely helpful and polite. When we were there it was very humid. It was wonderful to come into the lobby and have some iced tea waiting. We seek out hotels with history and loved staying at the Bourbon Orleans.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall a good hotel. Blinds on the window were broken - leaving no privacy and light streaming in all night. Why doesn't the cleaning staff report that to maintenance? While the half closed shower is good decor it makes for an uncomfortable bath. The bathroom was nice though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is the epitome of NOLA. We spent one night here and will definitely return. It is in the perfect location off of Bourbon Street and steps away from Jackson Square. Loved everything about this place!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was great! Right in the middle of the excitement, yet I always felt safe. The staff is wonderful and friendly, and the hotel is beautiful. They offer to park your car for a nightly fee as well. No worries and had a wonderful time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wedding Weekend Stay"
Hotel is convient to Bourbon street and a block away from Jackson Square. Lobby area is nice and clean. Valet guys very helpful in getting cabs all weekend. Valet time to get your car kinda ridiculous, waited over 45 minutes on Sunday. Hotel should look into a better option for the lot to store cars, saw where it was and was pretty far away. Room was […] very small, felt like everything was jammed in there. No couch or sitting area besides bed, so no place to sit other than bed. Window view in room on 2nd floor was a generator and brick wall. Disappointing for the price did not get a little more. Friends had a suite with balcony over bourbon street, definitely a better room. For the price don't think I would stay here again, just didn't have that luxurious feel as other properties in New Orleans. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I highly recommend the Bourbon Orleans! The hotel staff were EXTREMELY helpful and friendly. The room was clean - loved the modern bath - a wonderful retreat from a day of sightseeing! I normally stay at the Royal Sonesta - but never again!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great stay at great hotel"
Our stay was fantastic. Very comfortable room, spotless, and staff was tremendous.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awesome location for the partiers!"
Wonderful hotel. Not even a block away from Bourbon Street; which came in VERY handy by the end of the night out!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is an awesome hotel. Can't beat the location or the ghost stories!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Paying extra for location, not room"
The hotel is nice and location is great if you want to be in the quarter, but for the amount we paid for a queen room I expected something bigger than a closet. Maybe you are paying for the pool and location, but compared to other hotels we have stayed in around the world, it seemed over priced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great place! Friendly staff, good bartender! Upgraded to a balcony but that was a mistake as room faced Bourbon street!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our first staying here but it won't be the last. Absolutely loved it! !Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My stay was 6/5-6/9. I've stayed in New Orleans multiple times, each at different hotels. Everything at Bourbon Orleans was on par with a "good" hotel in New Orleans. Good service. Good level of cleanliness. Nice, elegant lobby. A few notable items that may influence your decision to stay: Awesome pool. Not a lot of NOLA hotels have a pool, let alone […] a really nice one. We paid what I feel is a very reasonable rate for a nice hotel at an excellent location. The walls are very thin. I heard the guests to the right and left of me both talking at normal, conversational volumes at various times. Luckily I brought ear plugs to sleep. One of the main reasons I was really excited to stay here was because of the historical ballroom. Unfortunately, every time I went to pop my head into the ballroom on the 3rd floor, there was a conference or some other function going on. Understandable, but disappointing. If you're worried about staying right next to the craziness that is Bourbon Street, don't worry about it. (I was skeptical.) The hotel is far enough around the block and in a much quieter area. Yet still very close to everything French Quarter, which was very convenient. Really nice, friendly doormen, which is always a plus in my book! Grabbed cabs for us easily without any problem. The rest of the staff was good, but not great (from a "friendly" perspective). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Pretty good, but..."
So my wife and I went to this hotel for our honeymoon. Overall, it was a great experience. The valets were great, the bellmen friendly, and the location was ideal for walking around the French Quarter. There was a bookshop just across the street from the main entrance, there was a wine bistro next door to the bookstore, and a cigar shop next to it. […] Our room overlooked Bourbon Street, but double-pane windows kept the noise level down to a tolerable minimum. The only bad experience I had was with the check-in. Long story short, since I wasn't in shirt and tie, I was treated with some contempt by the front-desk worker, Carolina. She was quite rude to me. Other than that hiccup, this was a wonderful hotel that with staff (with that notable exception) who went out of their way for their guests. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone, just make sure you are wearing nice clothes for check-in! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location within French Quarter"
Bourbon Orleans is close to Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, Royal Street, and fine restaurants. You can't beat its proximity to attractions. Friendly staff, clean and quiet room. Historical history associated with hotel. I recommend this hotel for travelers.Genuine Expedia guest review
