"Take a cab"
Excellent accommodations, staff, cleanliness, room service, bar. I would recommend to anyone. The only hang up would be parking, there is none. If you valet it's $35.00, and if you've got a truck like me, it's $45.00. So take a cab!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It was just lovely!"
The Bourbon Orleans Hotel was lovely in every way. We were very comfortable in our room, it's located really close to Jackson Square, the staff is helpful and kind. Everything I look for in a hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
First the location cannot be beat, smack in the middle of the French quarter. The lobby, pool and rooms are quite beautiful, the staff were all very nice. We loved our stay.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Feels like we are coming home!"
Chef Joey and Chef Danny fixed us wonderful meals while there for breakfast and dinner. We really loved the bar set up in the lobby. It was fun to hang out there! Keyisha hooked us up with a King suite, all on one floor vs a two story suite. We loved the view from the 6th floor! Steven made some fabulous drinks for us in the bar to end the summer with […] a bang! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel, location prime for partying"
My boyfriend and I visited NOLA for the first time over Labor Day weekend. I chose this hotel based on reviews I read about the location. The Bourbon Orleans Hotel was wonderful - during the day. The staff was pleasant and the location prime for walking around the French Quarter. It is right in the middle of party central, which is good and bad. If […] you plan on staying out all hours of the night, this is the place to be, no doubt about it. After hanging out on Bourbon St. and downing a couple of hand grenades, it's only a few steps back to your room. But from our room, we heard the music from Bourbon St. loud and clear and the bass rocked our windows until 6am every night. The rooms were great and the beds were comfy. I would absolutely stay here again if I were on a bachelorette party or something wild. This hotel isn't the best place to be for a romantic getaway. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The location was perfect for Southern Decadence. The room was also one of the largest I've ever had in New Orleans and on the first floor which was a plus. We were greeted with complementary cocktails and I thought it was a nice touch. The lobby literally smelled like flowers and the valet was convenient, quick, and actually not very expensive. I will […] stay here every time I come back for a quick trip to New Orleans. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"In the middle of all of it!"
If your going for the nite life and the adventure of the Quarter stay here. The Bourbon Bar (fun Bar) steps onto Bourbon St.. We were there for Southern Decadence so all the festivities were right outside the Hotel. Great stay, very comfy beds and the a/c was wonderful after a long humid day in the NO. will returnGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Awesome! The hotel is so convenient to everything. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional! Great service, Great hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Enjoyed Bourbon Orleans"
Stayed here many times. Rooms and hotel are very nice. Room doors are paper thin though and you can hear everything on the hallway. Including the sound of flip flops. Other than the noise in the hallway, a very nice hotel right on Bourbon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Door knob that lead out to balcony was very very loose. Could see outside through the hole. There was a functioning dead bolt. However, I would definitely stay there again. Friendly staff and great location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Beautiful hotel , amazing location, fabulous pool and brilliant staff ! I would highly recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans !Genuine Expedia guest review
Wonderful and accommodating staff, especially in light of snafus with the airline causing a late arrival. Comfortable, clean room. Quiet too. Beautiful hotel. Highly recommend!Genuine Expedia guest review

"August 2014, 3 night stay."
Clean rooms . Hotel staff is very friendly, and goes out of their way to make sure you have an exceptional stay. We ate at the dining room for breakfast and dinner, and found the meal portions to be large and of and good quality. Would definitely stay here again when we visit New Orleans!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great hotel but no parking"
This is a beautiful hotel right in the middle of the French Quarter, within walking distance of almost everything but be aware that using the valet parking is your only real option for parking. Beautiful, historic hotel with a great staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good stay but need to work on parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My wife and I had an amazing experience in New Orleans. The initial intro started with the hotel staff. They accommodated us with a honeymoon gift and made sure we went to the right places in NO. I will definitely go back to this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Hotel conveniently located to everything!"
This Bourbon Orleans Hotel was within walking distance to everything. Bourbon Street is on one side and you are steps away from great food, shopping and live music.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Perfect place to stay in French Quarter!"
Right on Bourbon Street in the heart of the French Quarter. Beautiful lobby, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are lovely although quite small. Third time staying at Bourbon Orleans and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Bar is lovely but price of drinks high ( $12.00 for a Bloody Mary). There are so many bars in NO so tis is not really a drawback. Fabulous […] courtyard with great pool. Great place to meet friends for swim and drinks before a night out on the town. Best to ask for a room facing the courtyard because these rooms are quiet with a lovely view of the pool and courtyard. Staff is outgoing and accommodating. Restaurant is also good. Breakfast buffet great before taking that morning flight home. Our party of Eight loved the Bourbon Orleans! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Charming hotel in a perfect location"
The Bourbon Orleans is a great place to stay in New Orleans. It is in the middle of the French Quarter, so you can quickly walk everywhere you want to go. The pool is lovely and open late. The bar is also convenient. The hotel is not the newest, most upscale in the area, but it is clean and well-appointed with great staff. I would definitely stay here […] again. "Great location, upscale, but claustrophobic room"
My husband and I spent 5 days at the Bourbon Orleans hotel after reading over many reviews for French Quarter hotels. We were attracted by the hotel rating and overall it looked very nice and fit what we were looking for. The good: Based on tripadvisor reviews we were placed in a room facing the pool and inner courtyard, so it was very quiet. The bed […] was very comfortable and the hotel lobby was gorgeous. Iced tea and fruit infused water was offered during the day in the lobby and bottled water in the room. The location was wonderful, within walking distance of plenty of attractions, places to eat and things to do. Definitely an "upscale" place to stay. The bad: Paid for larger room, still was tiny. Carpet and walls were dark, making seem even smaller. Bathroom all black tile shower only half a frosted glass panel enclosing it, can't even close when showering. Had to remove TP roll to have room to sit on the toilet. Valet retrieval required 40mins advance notice. First time we called, an hour questioned the attendant and found out they did not even go get it. Breakfast very expensive. Even cheap hotels offer free breakfast, what gives? Tasty, but not worth $20 a plate. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great place to stay"
I grew up outside of NOLA and have been gone from the area for over 30 years. Once a year my wife and I visit our favorite city in the south and always enjoy ourselves. In the past the hotels have been the big let down, but this time it was a great experience. The staff were alway helpful from the front door to the back rooms. The climate inside the […] hotel was fresh, cool and dry, very much lacking the "dank" feeling of other hotels in the Quarters. This is our new go to place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We had been on the road all day, and were tired and hungry when we arrived. The staff took care of everything, and even shared places we could go to eat late in the evening. It was such a respite from the crazy travel day. Loved it!Genuine Expedia guest review
Beautiful hotel with an awesome history. Right nest to everything-Bourbon St, St. Louis Cathedral, Riverfront. Loved it.Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent service and location. It is haunted, which was a bonus.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Stay for Great Price"
Our stay was excellent and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The entire hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful, and the location was second to none.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great hotel smack in the middle of the French Quarter - which also means it is noisy by definition. Friendly service oriented employees. Highly recommended.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Four friends in The French Qtr."
Hotel staff were very welcoming. Valet parked both cars, best way to go since street parking is risky. Valet and bell staff were top notch. "Clean, Comfortable, Friendly, And Convenient"
We were four tourists in two rooms. The hotel is beautiful, ad the staff was great. There was no "complimentary" breakfast, and buying breakfast was pricey. I walked off and accidentally left clothes hanging in the closet. The "Lost & Found" person was relatively unfriendly, and would only agree to send a form - to be filled-out and returned to them. […] We'll see how that goes, but I'm not holding out much hope. That minor hiccup aside, we were very, very pleased with the hotel overall. It is 1/2 block from Bourbon St., and sits right in the heart of the French Quarter. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"History in the Frenchquarter"
Awesome staff, awesome room. Everything about this stay was perfect. No problems checking in or out, clean room, hotel is full of history and absolutely beautiful. Only downside was that valet parking was the ONLY option and was close to $50 a night, however this is normal in the frenchquarter at most hotels. If you get a chance, check out the ballroom […] upstairs. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The Bourbon Orleans has a great location just off of Bourbon St, however (I'm guessing because of its historical location) the rooms were tiny. No mini fridge, no microwave, and only about a foot worth of walking space around the bed. It was good for a one night stay, but I'd be unlikely to stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel close to Jackson square, and bourbon st"
The hotel has a lot of history which is wonderful. Our room was small but considering it use to be a convanent I understand. I would try to get a room facing the pool. Not very noisy considering it is right next to bourbon but every morning we could hear the cleaning crew on bourbon taking out the trash and scraping something, lasted about a half hour. […] It started at 530am. The hotel staff was very helpful and nice. The bourbon o bar was so great! Lynn, Cheryl and Steve were so nice and helpful with information on were to go and eat. They also made great drinks! We would stay there again for sure. Only complaint I had was the day we left and the housekeeping staff was on our floor and outside our room I could hear them talking about our privacy sign on the door and how they probably won't leave til noon and you know that they are dirty. We didn't want housekeeping while we stayed and we are not dirty people we actual picked up our room and threw all trash away before we left our room. It was very ignornant to say what they said. I had noticed the day before they had made a comment about another room. I didn't catch the whole thing but when I heard them outside my room I assume they were talking about our room or at the least someone on our floor. A bit disappointing. It wouldn't stop me from going back again the rest of the staff was wonderful. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
