I also called the front desk 4 times trying to leave a wake-up call but nobody answered. My overall experience of the hotel was ok. Expected a more for the price we paid. We experienced a Very roud customer service from the front desk people, not willing to help and looked annoyed with everyone. The room was ok, except for the restroom which was extremely dirty. This hotel is the worst hotel, I have stayed so far. The hotel stuff is rude, the rooms are dirty, only four elevators for a hotel, the pool shower (only one) was out of order making people wash the sand of the beach at the hotel’s pool (sand in the pool), no towels in the pool. I paid over $140 per night; the rooms were dirty, old furniture and smell […] bad Hotel only provided two towels per room. The only nice thing in the room was the view to the beach, but even the balcony was dirty and the chairs were so old, that we were afraid to seat. We spent a couple of hours in the beach on our first day, and when we went back to wash the sand from our bodies, the only shower by the pool was out of order, we tried to find a place to wash ourselves and we found a hose near the pool. They did not have any towels by the pool and we had to walk inside the hotel all wet leaving a mess thru the lobby. When we reached our floor we found a cart with clean towels in the hall, so we grab a couple to dry ourselves, when a housekeeper came yelling in Spanish saying that we were not supposed to be grabbing towels, just because we see them doesn’t mean we can grab them. I told her if she had a problem, she can tell me without all the yelling or to go to her manager. But she kept yelling and took the cart to the linen closet by our rooms and called someone and started to complain over the phone about us. The staff is wonderful at the hotel. The hotel itself is in major need of updates. When it rains they barricade the entrance to the pool/beach area with sandbags, due to the flooding. They lock the outside restrooms, and they will close the place to check out beach towels. The rooms are decent in size, but there is quite a bit of mold/rust in the units. I would not stay here again. Grungy hallways, rugs not vacuumed, reminded me of NYC apartments, dark and dingy. I found a 2-inch orange cockroach in the bathroom on my last evening. There was a huge "Palmetto Bug" in my room and the staff made it seem like that is normal! Security was very uptight and rude! Only things that was nice were the pool area and lobby. No valet! If you think you are getting a good deal taking this hotel the answer is NO!!!! First of all there are plenty of hotel near of the beach in better price than this. They put a price per night but you have to know that in the bottom of the page there is a note with very small letters that says that you have to pay 20.00 more per night, for ''hotel fee […] and accommodations''?? I have never been in hotel that they charge 20 more per night besides the original amount. Furthermore, I didn't see the accommodations, since you're there you have to carry your bags to your room. Additionally, you have to pay 30.00 per night for parking. Besides that If you use a bed or a sunshade at the beach, you have to pay 20.00 per day. In conclusion, I think they don't have any consideration with the customers who are staying in the hotel. I hope opinion helps to choose a better option than this, because If I had known all these extra charges for every single thing that you use I would have chosen a hotel with more quality and it would be less expensive and more comfortable.
