"Customer Service needs help."
The desk staff upon check in over charged me for the stay. resulting in an confrontation asking me to leave or check in. We did not receive any service at the outside bar when others who came up behind me ordered in Spanish and got served right away. It was Ok. The hotel was renovated (its a fairly old building) but still needs improvement. The quality of the doors (bathroom) and carpet, the A/C was noisy (old wall unit). Overall it was Ok for the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Absolutely horrible service. None of the employees wanted to help. Call 3 times with the wifi issue never taken care of. had trouble even getting soap and shampoo sent up to the room. "Seemed nicer online"
Two of my friends and I stayed there, from 8/21 to 8/26 in a two bedroom room. Our room seemed a little old, rusted features and needing a paint job. We had issues the first day with the shower overflowing, and we had to pack everything and moved to another room. When we called housekeeping, they came to try to fix it, but couldn't, and told us a plumber […] could come the next morning at 8 am. We had plans that night, and only one person had showered since we had come from the beach. The new room was closer to the top floor and seemed to be in better condition and probably recently painted. We did have more issue with bathroom, with the toiled overflowing but housekeeping took care of it quick. Housekeeping kept forgetting to leave us enough towels and wash clothes. We had issue with them: when we requested some from housekeeping that were working on our floor, we were told to call the department first, and than we were maid to wait a long time, even though they were still on our floor. Our room was okay considering what we paid, however the hallways on our floor were constantly littered and not vacuumed, we asked for extra towels and did not get them till the following day. Where to start, parking was at a lot across the street $30 per day,no valet. Security guards where rude and did not speak English or new the hotel policies. No coolers allowed anywhere in hotel. This hotel is in desperate need of renovation it should be rated a 1 star. We got there about noon after our cruise we didn't get our rooms until close to 5, waisted all day in the lobby we wanted to eat we asked, nobody mentioned the restaurant in the lower leve,l had to walk to fiend one. Key for the room didn't work went to get knew key still didn't […] because the door knob is so worn out that you had to wiggle for 5 min. No hot water bathtub still had hair from the previous people shower curtain had pink scum on it you go have breakfast and they try to presure you to get the buffet when you only want an egg, fruit and toast because they tell you is going to take to long for the egg. We arrived at 1100 AM, and they could not check us in until 400PM, so they let us have assess to the pool and beach and held our luggage. At 330 PM we got into our room, and it was terrible! This hotel does NOT match it's lobby. Upon entering it seemed so nice but when you go to your room it was like going into another building. The corridor was dirty and gloomy. The doors to the rooms were beat up and the beds had thin mattresses that felt like you were sleeping on coils alone. They were not comfortable. It seemed as if they picked up […] their mattresses at a Thrift Shop. The phones had no numbers for guidance to call the front desk and were old. The television was bad and the towels provided were dingy and dirty looking. To top it off, the bathroom smelled like urine. Not clean at all. When I spoke to the front desk to make a claim about the mattress bed, I was told that the Manager was not available and that I can leave a survey for him/her. It was shocking to believe that a Manager of a Hotel was not available to speak to. Does a Hotel run by itself without a Manager on the premises. The only thing the front desk person offered was an extra hour stay. Mind you that check out was at 11 AM and it was "Extended" until 12 (Noon). Isn't it funny how most hotels' check out time is at Noon anyway. They think they did me justice by giving an extra Hour for my Sleepless night on their Thrift Store Beds. "My daughter's bday weekend"
How should I start? Let me see we arrived at the hotel at 4:30p.m. there was a huge line to check in and a HUGE line to the elevators. Its was ok stay. We were there during july 4th. Pool was closed before dark and was told they need to clean the pool and was told to go to your apt or the beach rudely.
