Hotel was shabby, very little on site dining except bar food. Rooms were noisy and the whole place was not what I expected for cleanliness.

Hotel is absolutley beautiful, staff is nice & helpful & the location is right on the beach near the southernmost point- smathers beach is a mile down the road also- the hotel has watersports rentals & bike and scooter rentals on the property, they can arrange anything for you right there! you can have dinner on the beach, they give out free popsicles […] & free drinks in the afternoon- the room was HUGE that we had & they even gave us a $50 per day reward credit to use on anything we wanted!! Stay in the Flagler. Old world Hemingway feel. Hardwood floors, great decor. Opt for the balcony, the ocean view rooms need the windows to open, which are permanently locked.

The Casa Marina Resort was amazing! We didn't have view from our room but we were one of the pool sides and it was easy access to that area! We drove in paid for self parking. The parking is located conveniently across the street. Though not near Duval street we did walk and it was about 15-20min walk. My opinion is clouded by the fact that we experienced a once in a decade cold front where it rained everyday and the temp never got above 65 degrees. Take out the weather and Key West is basically an overblown Jimmy Buffet concert...if you're into that sort of thing.

Once we were upgraded for an additional fee per night...on top of the original charges per night, the room was extremely comfortable. we thought we had a balcony in the same building as my brother, but that was not true. The hotel graciously waived our resort fees and for that I am thankful. Very comfortable bed and pillows!

We were very excited to get to this hotel. It has a great location an the waterfront property is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. But our room was not very clean and our view out of the room was awful. For that kind of money I was expecting more.

I paid $700 a night to stay in a shoebox I was told this was the largest room they had. I thought I was getting a 2 bedroom which they considered it was. Basically it was a 1 bedroom with a bed up in the loft area which doesn't give you any privacy as it is all open. I thought paying $700 I would get a huge penthouse room but that is not the case. You […] get a small mini fridge, no coffee maker a tiny living room and the smallest balcony I have ever seen which is even crammed with 2 people. We had an excellent stay for two days at Casa Marina. The room quality was pretty fantastic but things that could be improved: refrigerator was very noisy and the cooling system, when it cycled on and off, made a thud noise.. We remedied this by keeping it on the low setting as opposed to auto. Property could definitely be improved by adding a hot tub […] to go along with the two well-maintained pools. The upkeep and decor were absolutely beautiful and really added to the ambience of the hotel. Beware: parking is $20-$25 per night extra, and booking through Expedia (though cheaper initially) adds on a $25/night "room fee". Overall, it was a wonderful place to enjoy a romantic vacation. With breathtaking views of the ocean and a sunset view from the piers. No matter who you are, the staff make you feel important and very welcome as a guest. The convenience of having the watersports on site was excellent.... Make sure to go jet skiing!!!!! The restaurant was pricey, but catered to our special dietary needs (gluten and dairy free) without a hassle. Staff is knowledgeable about the menu and willing to make special accommodations to prepare meals separately. Service at the bar by the pool was a little bit slow, but if you don't mind waiting for a drink while overlooking the beautiful ocean, I guess it's okay! Casa Marina resort is a very nice facility. Comfortable rooms and nice grounds. Not too far from town but they do not supply a shuttle so you either drive, walk, or take a taxi. Staff were exceptionally accommodating, for example when we wanted to sleep late, housekeeping was good about coming in later in the day. The shower curtain was not sufficient to keep water off of the floor. There was not enough counter space at the bathroom sink. There should be instructions for the Nespresso machine. Other than these small issues we enjoyed Casa thMarina for the location and the extremely friendly staff. We would come back.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights / 9 days before the holidays and were very disappointed!!! If you are like us and coming with a child especially an infant than rethink your hotel choice. THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR FAMILIES OR CHILDREN!!! When we arrived we were told that they dont have rooms with a bath tub ?!?!?! I think this is unheard of ... where […] am I suppose to wash my baby (for a week and a half) ??? The hotel then provided a crib that is METAL and should never ever be used for an child, your child can crack their head open. Once I brought this to their attention they brought us a kids play pen and said for my INFANT to sleep in that .... WALDORF ASTORIA ???? really ??? I came to the hotel to enjoy my vacation but instead I came to terrible disappointments. The Waldorf Astoria in Chicago has completely different standards. I would never stay here again with a CHILD.
