Our double room on the 7h floor was slightly small. The other couple that was with us had a much bigger double room on the 3rd floor. Tube or bus is needed to go almost everywhere in London, but both options are nearby the hotel. Overall, a good experience.

Quite expensive for the price you already pay each day. Wi-fi costs additional £15 per day if you're not a gold or platinum HHonors member. No complimentary still/sparkling water like other similar hotels. Easy access to tube, rail or bus station (Sheperds Bush). Not too many restaurants around.

The hotel was beautifully decorated, clean, and affordable. It was extremely close to the Shepard's Bush tube stop and within walking distance to shopping centers and restaurants. We did not visit the hotel bar or restaurant, but both looked nice. The room and bathroom was clean and pleasant. My mattress felt sort of soft, yet I had no trouble falling asleep any of the six nights we were there. This is a great hotel just outside all the major tourist attractions in London. This is the second time I stay at Hilton Kensington. When Rashid, the fabulous Concierge, remembers you a year later and greets you in Portuguese, knowing this is your first language, as you walk through the hotel doors again, nothing can feel more welcome. They have a guest for life!

The most frequent complaint was that the rooms were small. And, of course, I know that this is typical in London, so I did not consider this a problem. It was very close to the Shepard's Bush tube stop which was great however you had to cross a circle and there were only cross walks in some directions. The hotel was nice and my room was ready early which was great since I was exhausted from traveling. All the basic ammenities were there including a hair dryer and the stay was a pleasant one.

I enjoyed the service I experienced at Hilton London. Concierges were very helpful to me through out my stay. Location was good for access to the Underground train system. My room was clean, though has some stains on the carpet.

The hotel is ok, including the location, but it is below standard for Hilton! The check-in/-out personnel were grumpy; the bar attendant could hardly serve anything else than a beer; they charge you for wi-fi (in 2012!?) Will probably not stay there again, but might reconsider if they get free wi-fi.

The Hilton experience is pretty consistent and overall I was happy. They are repairing the 6th floor and entire panels of wallpaper were missing and molding was torn off in places. It seems more like repairs than remodel since only parts were missing, so they'd likely put back the same stuff. What is it with UK Hotels that guard Wi-Fi like the Crown […] Jewels? No free Wi-Fi anywhere in this hotel. I'm Hilton Honors but only Silver and that doesn't get you Wi-Fi in the UK like USA. At dinner I took a newspaper and was reading. After fifteen minutes, before my food arrived, they set the lights down to "romantic" or "vampire friendly". I asked them to put them back so I could read and they did. Then they came back 15 minutes later while I was still eating and asked if I was done so they could set the lights back down. were they trying to save electricity? The hotel is just outside of Zone 1 on the mass transit system, but still close enough to reach city-center destinations within 15 minutes by underground. Therefore, the neighborhood is quiet as well. It is just 5 minutes' or less walk from Shepherd's Bush station & a Cycle Hire point is halfway between the station and hotel. It's quite a value to stay in here. The location is within walking distance of the Westfield Mall and not too far from Heathrow. My only comment is that my towel rack was coming off the wall and no one from maintenance came to fix it during my stay.

Lovely area of London with convenient transportation options. The hotel is on a tree lined, quiet street within easy walking to White City Westfield Shopping Center and Notting Hill Gate. The charge for WiFi is VERY high. £14.99 per day. It was an effort to get service....in the bar, restaurant and in general. That is my only complaint.

I read the other reviews and selected this hotel based on them. The room was not dirty, but was kind of a dump compared to other Hiltons. I will say the concierge's desk was very helpful. Great location to catch the site-seeing bus, but a little far out from everything else. Not a bad property, but disappointing for a Hilton.

I was immediately surprised upon our arrival at how helpful the concierge was. He packed our bags on the cart and stayed with us throughout the placement in the room. He, Ivan, was as helpful throughout the stay as well. The staff did offer to upgrade our room at no upcharge...we refused as after having overnighted and adjusted to what we had. It was great for the five days we were staying in London and did not use the room much. The room was much smaller than advertised and some of the pictures for the room we were allegedly staying in were not as nice as our actual room, but the friendly and attentive staff definitely made up for it!

It's a Hilton, but a older One. So all is clean, the staff is friendly and the bed is very comfortable. the staff was wonderful and let us into our room early. The room was clean - it was a little small but we were not there a lot. The breakfast buffet was worth the small addition to the room rate - it had everything including an omelet bar. The hotel was right on the central line so getting into the west end was easy.

We found the short tube ride to the hotel well worth it as it transported us to an upscale, quiet neighborhood seemingly light years from Oxford Circus and other noisy places. The hotel staff was great and I would definitely return. If I had an issue it would be their poilcy to charge for internet.
