Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. "End of the Strip"
Excellent room and delicious food. The spa was amazing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We loved the room and the locations. Only two concerned about their charges . $25 per day for resort and they charged you automatic if you accidentally touch anything from the counter . There's a coffee maker but they have charge you for coffee. No microwave with for me that plus for their hotel. We loved the room and hotel itself but with those charges […] I don't think we want to comeback there . A lot of hotel around the area with good accomodation . "Loved the suite!"
Our suite in THEhotel was terrific! Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The only issue we had was we had to wait in a long line just to check in at 5:30pm on a Sat night and the bathtub had clearly not been cleaned in some time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I need to be there, every month !"
Everything was perfect, I was getting married and afterwards we ate in the hotel everyday of our stay and seen the MJ show. Attend the Mix on the 64th fl, thatwas nice. Didn't gamble much but this was a packed 4days. Hotel is perfect !!!!! no complaints.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice. Cheap prices during the week.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was an amazing hotel. The hotel its self is big, and has many different stored or activities you can do. The parking lot from the check in is far. One thing I did not like was that we reserved the Great room thinking it was going to be big and luxurious but that was not the case.. It was a simple room and was not too big, we had a view to the airport. […] And the tv they say they have in the bathroom is really tiny and you can hardly see it from the tub. I was not satisfied with my choice and if we do decide to book a room with this hotel we will just get a simple room so we wont feel as dissapointed as we did. It was an expensive stay for something so simple, and was a bit far from the main strip. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was perfect.. The only problem was television screen would freeze the scene in blocks & had a problem with the internet, but was corrected by outside vendor provided by front desk. I realize you do not go to Vegas to watch television, but for the price of the room, I have received HBO in room for free. It was not summer, so pool area was […] not available. "THE Hotel (took a lot to come up with this name)"
Overall, the stay was pleasant. Too bad the casinos are filled with cigarette smoke and traffic is horrible.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
They gave me a room that wasn't clean. They transferred me to another room. It took them 1 hour to exchange for hypo allergenic pillows, valet parking always full (for hotel residents??)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall the stay was good. All the staff we nice and friendly. We got the upgraded room at check in and it was amazing. Definitely worth the money. My only complaint when we checked in our room I noticed a used bandaid on one if the night stands by the bed. I called guest services to have them come clean and sanitize the desk. After an hour of waiting […] no one showed and I had to call again. After my second call it took almost 45 minutes for someone to show up and clean. It was rather irritating. Other then this issue the stay was great. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Mandalay Bay LV"
Great hotel, great atmosphere. Only negative was the horrendously long wait at the valet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel but location is too far from center"
Excellent hotel but location is too far from the center of the strip. One can't comfortably walk to the strip. Not too convenient. But if you have a car and prefer to drive from point to point, it would be ok. Buffet is average.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not too satisfied"
We loved our room it's just some concerned . First, I booked in Mandalay to found out that we will stay in The Hotel. So, we had to walked all the way to other hotel. Then it's terrible that my mom just touched one choclates in the counter and they charged us not even eating it. No coffee provided too. There's a coffee maker and coffee but they will […] charge you. Another thing is they charged us too for resort fee for 25/ day . I booked 2 rooms one for 2 nights one for 3 nights and that alone i paid $125 plus that choclates that we didn't eat for $13 bucks. So now although we liked our room and place I don't think we will comeback to that hotel again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, inconvenient location"
Mandalay Bay does a great job treating their guests well. The staff was friendly and the room was clean & comfortable. Located at the far south end of the strip, the location is inconvenient. The self-parking structure was also a maze to navigate with arrows painted over but still visible so one-ways were not obvious.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Family friendly hotel"
We went with out two kids for the Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed our stay and the kids too. The Aquarium and the pool were their favorite attractions. My wife and I went t the MIX lounge. They have great views of Vegas from a 64th floor. Be aware of the elevators at check out time. We had to go up to be able to go down.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"worst hotel experience of my life"
1. Valet is "full" when I arrive and they tell me to valet at "the hotel" their other building which is a good 10 walk from my check in. Didn't even offer to help with my luggage. 2. Pillows smelled like other people's hair. 3. Room service gave me a $10 bottle of water without asking when there was a $4 variety. 4. No do not disturb sign in the […] room so I hung a coat hanger. The cleaner woke me at 9 o'clock sharp by banging on the door. I was in the suite at the end of the hall where they apparently start cleaning first. When asked about the disturbance, room service told me the cleaning staff probably doesn't know what the coat hanger meant. 5. Valet would not bring my car to the front after making me valet at their other building. Valet staff proceeded to give me directions to their other building like I was lost. 6. Valet was still "full" on my second night then suggested that I self park. Please don't let the 4stars fool you. This place deserves to go out of business. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice hotel to stay for family with kids"
Overall our stay was very good until the checkout where I noticed my bill has been charged with some of the refreshments kept in the hotel room. Having Kids stayed in the room, even before we realized that those refreshments are chargeable on consumption, it was late. I was more concerned that it was not mentioned to me at the time of check-in or anywhere […] by the Hotel, I am okay to be paid if they had told but this was like hidden charged to me. "Enjoyed my stay"
Enjoyed my stay at Mandalay Bay. Hotel was very nice, clean, well maintained. I thought casino was over priced for many table games. I checked at other resorts of comparable quality and found the minimum bet requirements to be the same, but thought if they dropped them from $15 minimum to $5, they would see a ton more action at the craps table! Overall […] I found Vegas to be an over reach for my vacation dollars. Not MB fault, but more competitive pricing would be a good thing. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"maintenance of the room was very bad,"
We stayed just one night, but because of very poor maintenance which was not expecting at all . In all over the bathroom and towels were long black hairs which I took the pictures. "Great room - lousy night manager"
We prepaid 5 nights non-smoking king size deluxe room. I called early morning to let the hotel know we would be arriving late due to late flights and to be sure to save our room. Upon checkin, no king size bed and when asking to speak to the manager on duty, she came out front with the a very nasty attitude. Really didn't care that the room we paid […] for wasn't available. She even told us to "go to our room" like we were children. When you have prepaid a lengthy stay at a hotel that has over 3K rooms, they should honor that. The manager at night was the rudest customer service individual I have ever dealt with. The next morning, I spoke with the day manager and we were moved without incident and all was fine. A manager that thinks they can talk to clients like that just because they have paid should be fired. The remaining staff was all excellent as well as the overall accommodations. She didnt care if we were to post a negative review on this site or not. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to everything and airport"
Our stay at Mandalay Bay was great, we had a room on the 23rd floor so had a great view from the window. Even though it was on the airport side it was still interesting and we got to see the 30.000 runners in the marathon from our window too. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of towels etc and a big screen TV. One little gripe though, […] there was no coffee maker in the room, the first hotel we've ever stayed in all around the world where one wasn't provided. I know they need to make a profit but for the price charged it would have been nice. The fridge was completely stocked with hotel food and drink so no room for any personal food or drink and they charge $35 per night for a small fridge to be brought in which is ridiculous. The hotel was very convenient to everything on the strip and the airport rental car pick up and drop off location which was a bonus. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nothing bad to say about the Mandalay except the location. Very far from the parts of the Strip we wanted to be. There were trams to help get around but next time I will stick to a mid-Strip location. Other than that great pool area, nice rooms with double sink, and centrally located elevators. Enjoyed eating at the Fleur on site.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Hotel was AWESOME, we'd definitely stay here again, can't say enough about it...location could be betterGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My sister and I would have liked to have a coffee machine in our room for first thing in the morning. I think the "resort fee" is a rip off - really! $25 for internet service and the daily newspaper - that's ridiculous.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Mandalay is a very nice hotel."
Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas is a very nice hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only two points that are negative is that I did not like being surprised with a $28 Resort Fee upon check out when I did not even step foot in the resort areas. Also, most of the "hot," food at the breakfast […] buffet was cold. Still, I would stay here again on my next trip Las Vegas. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Good time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I only had one night in Las Vegas but enjoyed Mandalay Bay. Nice staff and other guests made it an enjoyable couple days away from home. Not impressed. There was a group of us staying in separate rooms. I was charged an extra fee (the price of another room) for having an infant with us. I ask Mandalay Bay why the extra fee and they said it was something to do with Expedia (Hotels.com) I called Hotels.com and asked them they said it was an extra charge from the hotel and so they were […] just passing along the extra fee. In addition to all of this the main reason we chose to stay there was the sandy beach pool. Which we found out after checking in that it was closing for the season and we had 1 hour to enjoy it. Again not impressed. There should have been a notice or something on either the Hotels.com website or on the Mandalay bay website indicating the closure. And, if you are needing wifi or the internet don't count on having either here. Both were very poor and seldom worked when we needed it to. Your best bet is to go to McDonalds or somewhere else that offers wifi. All in all I don't think I will be back. The decor looked nice but I found the service to be lacking. Thats my opinion. Excellent!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Check-in took almost an hour. We asked if we should have lunch first and wait for the line to shorten, but were told that the length of the line was typical and we just had to wait. The wave pool was nice, but the beach felt like a parking lot with wall to wall lounge chairs. The lounge areas away from the beach were over-crowded with chairs also, but […] those areas had lush plantings so they were more attractive. The rooms were great and the location was great for us because we wanted to be close to the airport. If they could remedy the lengthy check-in, it is a great hotel for families with young kids. I would not go here for a romantic vacation. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Just a bit too far from the strip."
Good hotel, clean and good service. They let us check in early at 11am instead of the regular time of 3pm. The only down side is if your planning on walking to the strip it's just a bit out of the way.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good time. Gambling is a bit pricy at MB but had fun at Luxor, a short walk away. Room was nice and clean but not over the top. Saw two shows, menopause and Chris Angel, both lots of fun.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I enjoyed the hotel and the atmosphere there. I was expecting a little bit more from the restaurants and buffet being the Mandalay. For Vegas there is a little bit more to expect than any regular high end buffet. The room had a great view of the pools. I just wish I had a chance to go in them.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Problems with reservations."
There are 2 sides to Mandalay Bay. The Mandalay Bay tower and "the Hotel" tower. We called in the reservation specifically requesting to stay at "the Hotel" tower. We made the reservation and double checked with the person on the phone that we are positively reserved in "the Hotel" tower and was guaranteed that. We get to "the Hotel" side to check in […] and we were told that the reservation was for the Mandalay Bay tower. We had to pay a lot more to fix your reservationists mistake. I'm not a happy camper. Totally awesome. I got the suite so stayed at THE Hotel, it was a 600 sq ft. It literally had a his & hers sink, it had a guest bathroom (so 2 bathrooms!!) and it had a whole living room area, and separate bedroom. Truly a suite. the location of the hotel is south of the strip, so a bit out of the way of the strip, but they have a cool tram that takes […] you up there pretty quick. Plus, the Mandalay Bay casino has cool restaurants, the House of Blues cafe was really good on the bbq ribs for dinner and eggs benedict for breakfast. Also there is the LIGHT nightclub where we saw SKRILLEX!! The awesome things is that we didnt even leave the hotel for the night. The pool is very cool, with a lazy river. But they only had one jacuzzi and got pretty full fast. Overall an awesome place, everything you need right there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
