The hotel was great! The rooms are nice and spacious. The wireless network needs some work though, I had issues accessing the network and the concierge and registration staff were unable to help.

"Great hotel, great pools, too far south on Strip"
Mandalay is undergoing renovations and giving every guestroom a facelift, making them more modern. That's all good although I think the rooms are plenty nice as they are! Lovely hotel, spectacular pool area, decent food. Families will LOVE their Lazy River pool, their wave pool, actually all their pools which number about 5. The only slight negative is its location, at the far southern end of the Strip. Even though there's a tram, I think it only goes to the next hotel, the Excalibur. Otherwise it's a taxi ride every time you leave.

"Fun and Relaxing Family Vacation"
Our Delano queen suite was very roomy and clean. The extra 1/2 bathroom was a great bonus. The staff was very friendly and professional. We only wish access to the pools were closer, instead of having to walk through the Mandalay casino.

"Convention"
Just not great. The rooms need some major upgrades to go with the Higher End feel and pricing of the resort. The Main hotel, convention area, pools etc are great. The service was a little stand offish when we were looking for help a couple times. I have stayed at most of the other major hotels on the strip and for $400 a night (in June) I was expecting a little more.

"I'd recommend it for a family."
It was an alright hotel; just a quick overnight layover from airport. USE A TAXI CAB!!! It was easy and quick to get to the airport by taxi in the morning, shuttle service was terrible, but they did refund my round trip fee since they could not pick me up in the morning.

"Go back to trainging your workers on hospitality!!"
I am one to never write a bad review, unless it helps others make a choice on where to stay. Beautiful property, but the customer service was terrible. It started off by taking over an hour and a half to check in, and when I got to the representative checking us in, I told her that I had never waited 1.5hrs to check in and is it normally like this? She replied without even an apology for the wait time, and flat out told me that it could have been worse. I told her, I wouldn't ever see it worse, because I would not be back to that property. Needless to say, not a good first point of contact onto the property. Also, my wife had asked one of the maids for some body wash when we were going up to our room, and the maid replied to her that body wash was only for suite guests, and that she could not have any....unbelievable right...I mean, just say you don't offer it, rather than insult your guests that they didn't spend enough to get a $0.15 item off of the maid cart. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for, but rooms there are not cheap, as we spent over $200 each night. There are a few more short comings that I could mention in the level of hospitality which their workers insulted us with, but I would rather not waste anymore of my time thinking about it. Management sucks there as they allow and almost encourage their workers to be rude to their guests. No thanks Mandalay Bay, we wont be back!!

"Bad location, disorganized front desk."
A pipe burst, and hotel waited until 4:00pm to make us move to an inferior room. We told them we had to be at an anniversary party at 5:00pm, and bellman must be at our room at 4:30. What a rush to pack in 1/2 hour! Bellman came at 4:45,making us late for party at an offsite restaurant. What a debacle. Upon checkout, front desk could not find our reservation for the last night, even though we had a written confirmation. Mandalay Bay is at the end of the Strip, not near the monorail that connects other hotels. Not a good location.

"Mandalay bay queen suite."
Went for the EDC weekend but went to the dayclubs. Good Place to rest your bones. took an hour to check in and had to wait for my girlfriend who went to the day club to leave there and come out since the reservation was under her name. After this we got put into a suite that only had one bed instead of the 2 bed queen suite we had reserved. By this time i was already at daylight and another member of our group had to go back down and arrange to be put in the correct room type. Fast forward an hour later and we get arranged to check into the correct room type. Had to wait in line at daylight even though my girlfriend was already in. I guess hospitality goes out the door when there's tons of people. Other than the that the hotel itself was in great condition and a comfortable place to rest your bones.

"Poor customer service"
Stay was fine. Customer service was poor. I had to wait on the phone queue for 48 minutes to get a customer service rep and when asked what was the typical wait time, The answer from the customer service representative took me by surprise. She quoted "How long did you wait?. I answered 48 mins. She replied back saying " Then that is the wait time". I would never consider staying in any of the MGM resorts just for this one answer.

"stay here if you like construction till midnight"
hotel started construction second day of our stay. Did not stop till midnight despite our complaints. Drilling, hammering,on floor directly above our room. Charged us $350/night (taxes,fee) for this. Offered $30 back as makeup.

"Two days away"
The bed! I wanted to sleeeep with my husband away from out 1 year old for a couple days and the bed wasn't has comfortable as I'd hoped-saggy on one side and the pillows were too hard. The buffet is great for a great price!

"Poolside at the Mandalay"
The pools of the Mandalay Bay sets this hotel/casino apart. The lazy river + beach + regular looks is great way to relax even when it is hot. We had a 6-year-old buy in our family and picked this hotel because of the pools. We all enjoyed this. Also a plus was the connection to Luxor and Excalibur which gave us a good variety of restaurants for good and quick meals.

"Dusty and dirty..."
My first room was so dusty and dirty that they moved us into another room. That room had a broken air conditioner when the outside temp was over 110! When they came to fix it the filter was so dirty, no air was doing thru at all. After they changed that there was tons of dust and dirt blowing out the rest of our stay. The counter was really nice about it and tried to help us, but by then it was too late. They compensated us with a voucher for food.

"beware of scorpion"
the suite that we got was really nice and clean until we found a big scorpion that almost bit of of us. i dont even know how did it get up there is not like we were in lower level, we were at 38th floor and it was late at night.

"Decent stay in Vegas, removed from the Strip"
The hotel is pretty nice, but it is far removed from the main strip. That in itself is not necessarily a bad thing, but you will need to think about transportation if you want to explore. The staff was very nice, but the wait to check in was awful. It was late, and there were only four parties in front of us, but there were only three staff members available! Once we checked in, everything was fine. Free parking was great!

"first bad experience"
The room was a corner view room. The shower didn't drain when turned on and fill full of nasty water while showering. Staff fixed immediately but then it was discovered that the air vent in the bathroom were completely full of gross material blowing around. I have stayed here many times and never have encountered before. This property is usually first rate

"whats not to love?"
oh my God. theres nothing that compares. wonderful room. beds sooo comfy. really enjoyed the wave pool. great band playing and had a terrific meal at the Russhian restaurant. what a night!we got to ck in early, and the person who checked us in couldn't have been nicer.CANT WAIT TO RETURN.

"Mandalay Bay stay"
Excellent rate for a 5-star hotel. very close to airport on the strip. overnight stay. delayed flight meant we only got in at 5am. receptionist was considerate enough to waive off resort fee as we were checking out that morning itself. Also allowed a late checkout (noon instead of 11am).

"Great pools"
The room was very spacious and comfortable. We stayed here because of the pools, and we really enjoyed the lazy river. Bring your own pool float or buy one at the drug store, because that is not included. While they had several restaurant choices, we were looking for cheap eats, and they didn't have much. Our overall experience was great.
