"Very good for this money"
The hotel is located just about 5 minutes from the airport. However to go to the Strip you have to walk about 15 minutes or take a cab all the time. Also there is a free shuttle to a Fashion Mall that runs on top of every hour. The personnel was very friendly and ready to help. I stayed in Casino Tower, the room was facing the mountains and the airport, […] that I find very cool. When you at the check in - ask not to give you a room facing the parking garage, that closes the view. There are a lot of rooms in one of the towers and the agent has to know what you are talking about. So, after all I think for the money the hotel is priced - this is very very good choice Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful Staff, Long Walk To The Strip"
The hotel is amazing and the staff is wonderful and polite. The only thing is that it is far from the strip. We decided to walk our first night, and it felt like forever. It's a bit much to walk to the strip then on the strip then back to the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Always a wonderful experience"
Affordable, convinient, and fun!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms were nice for an overall good price, BUT a few items from the room were "thrown out" or I'm pretty sure were stolen when housekeeping came to do their "job". Sad to say because the hotel itself is nice but I still haven't even heard from the security about my missing property!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Casino Tower needs a overhaul. Try and stay in the Paradise or HR towers. Both are much much nicer. Self parking is not to far from tower elevators.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"One night in Vegas fun stop"
The Hard Rock was an overnight stop for us before heading to California. This is Vegas! I booked this hotel from my phone while driving through Utah on our way to CA.The hotel is very nice, service top notch. The rock and rock museum style showcases throughout the hotel are great eye candy. I was traveling with my 15yr old son so we didn't spent any […] time in the casino, restaurants or bars. Hotel is within walking distance of the strip but they also have a free shuttle. The only thing I didn't like was the $22 resort fee on check out. I just wish they'd put this in the hotel price on the listing. Just another hidden cost which might have made me book a different hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hard Rock lives up to its name!"
Got to take a weekend trip to go see a show at their venue "The Joint" The Venue was very nice, and unlike so many other concerts I've been to, they seemed very clean and extremely organized. There was no rush for the door, just orderly lines to get in to to the venue. Good food, clean rooms, decent views if you get a pool view room. The filtration […] system in the casino is one of the best I've ever seen. I didn't even know anyone was smoking until I saw them. And best of all, staying in the same place after the show! So convenient. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Awesome hotel, awesome staff, and a wonderful experience-- even if it was for a business trip. It's my second time staying at the hotel and I will definitely be back for business and leisure!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"HRH king suite is the way to go"
I really enjoyed my stay. I wish I was there longer than two days. The room was very comfortable and very well designed. Great view of the pool. Having a living area besides the bed room was very nice to have. Bathroom was huge! only thing that I could not get to work was the wall ipod dock. The music player on it worked, but could not get my iphone […] to play on it. Maybe needed a software update. Otherwise, would definitely stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't stay here if on a business trip!"
On the plus side, there are some reasonably priced places to eat in the area. The German place across the street is a ton of fun, and it's a moderate walk to UNLV. On the downside, you will be charged a resort fee on top of what you paid here, so you need to add that to the price. Your company may not reimburse you for this, so beware. Also, the casino […] does not have the best filtering systems in place, so it smells more like old Vegas (heavy smoke smell that lingers) than one of the newer hotels on the Strip. You may end up smelling of smoke. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Our stay was just great. Easy to find, easy on wallet, easy to get from there to another place. Satisfied!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Although in the past the HR has not been one of my favorite places to be, this time I was pleasantly surprised. Service in the restaurants and valet were great. I really liked the size and cleanliness of the room. I did think the lack of staff at check in, causing long delays and the express check out, not working in the room, both annoying and unnecessary. […] But I will give it a chance again in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Overall, not bad for the price!"
The HRH tower is worth the extra! Stayed Thursday-Saturday. Upon checking in we were notified that our friends room (king suite) got down graded to a room with 2 queen beds. We showed the attendant the reservation, and she was quick to point out the fine print that any reservation is a "preference." Myself, never having heard of paying additional for […] a suite and being downgraded I expressed my disappointment. With an attitude the attendant asked me "what do you want me to do?" Luckily a manager was available, and he offered to "move around some reservations." Although the rooms weren't readily available to us, we were told to come back at 3:30. We were told this was the check in time, despite 3:00 listed on their website and in the reservation. Also, if you need to check in your bags, know the bell desk will not check in any coolers. Overall once we checked in we had a great experience. The year round pool was open, and heated. Restaurants Pink Taco, and Culinary Dropout were really enjoyable, affordable, and it was nice to have good food options and not have to leave the hotel. The memorabilia throughout the grounds are with the stay alone. I recommend grabbing a cocktail, and taking a lap. If you do hit the strip, its a short cab ride, under $8.00. Check out was easy, staff (with the exception of the front desk) were friendly. Avoid getting an wakeup call, ours never called us. Good thing we didn't have a flight to catch! Would stay again. "A Great Hotel Turning Into A Dud!"
Hard Rock has always been my favorite hotel since the day it's open. It was the cool place, with the right crowd & everyone would be at the Circle Bar. However over the years, new management has changed the look & feel to make it a mockery & now fallen from it's golden era. Thankfully the rooms are still great, and the price is beyond affordable. However […] it's attracted a crowd that would other wise visit the lesser hotels. it seems Cosmo and others new places has stolen HRH's thunder as the place to be. "My New Vegas spot"
This hotel has to be the nicest one i have ever stay in. The King suite that i got was so big and it was very affordable. The Las Vegas strip was less then a mile plus HRH offered shuttles back and forth. I think this hotel being off the strip made it more appealing the tables were not that expensive the music playing in the casino was bada$$. all around […] great hotel for the price i will definitely come back this is my new spot. i stayed in this hotel on feb 11th, and at the middle of the night someone started banging my door asking me to open the door. when i said i am not going to open the door, they banged even more. i called the front office, and they transferred to security and they told me that they would take action immediately. nobody came after that( at least not the […] noisemaker)-- i could not sleep for another several hours. the checkin had only one clerk and took forever, the checkout was quick Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Holes in walls by bed and dirty stained sheets. Took over an hour to get clean sheets. Rude front desk manager "Victoria" couldn't give me a comparable room. "Sorry, no bueno!"
I asked for a non-smoking room, however I could hardly breathe in the room. I had to sleep with the sliding door open and the heat on to manage to get a good night's rest. The room was dirty when I arrived, black hair in the bathroom and around the sink. the second day they managed to clean it up. Maybe that is just Vegas, but I will never stay there […] again. "Super comfy beds, "rocking" clientele"
Most comfortable bed, wish I had it at home! Stayed in HRH, was very nice and had its own front desk staff and concierge. Cool memorabilia throughout the property. "Really gone down hill"
The hotel was in bad repair, the pool which we were told when we checked in open from 10-4pm was closed with green stagnant water in it. Our room was dusty and was never cleaned. When I complained, they just sent up towels and did not offer to clean or compensate us for the part of the cost of the room which would include good service, housekeeping […] or an appropriate amount of towels. Very disappointed, it was our first time at the Hard Rock, we came on the recommendation of friends. All I can say is that it must have really gone down hill, because the service and quality was very poor. Will not stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful hotel, but just off the strip"
Close to, but not ON the strip. Modern, clean and very cool. It would have gotten 5 stars for everything if was on the strip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The dust was thick enough on the nightstand, clock radio and convenience bat that I could write my name in it. The sink stopper linkage was broken so that the sink was plugged without any way to unplug it short of me taking my pocket knife to remove it. The room looked nice upon first entering it but upon further inspection was just plain tired. The […] view out the window was a lovely collection of cigarette butts, beer cans and air conditioning equipment 2 feet below the sill. The "Resort Fee" came to $24 which included "free" WiFi, and a shuttle to the strip from 9am - 5pm. No thank you. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hard rock stay"
OK. When I checked in they did not give me the room I had paid in advance for. Never explained if I had choices, just gave me a cheapo room, even though I had resv and pd for a upgraded room. They did give me a $50 credit toward my bar bill (considering I had spent $150 at the bar that night and $1400 at Nobu, not to mention the gambling I and my party […] did), after I asked for it upon check out.I've been treaded better at a dozen hotels on the strip for the same rates or lower. Arrived on a Thursday about 4:30 pm, there was a long line at the Registration desk. They were nice enough to offer water while in line, but I could see that it was not staffed fully. There were available computers for the checkin. And I was told that Deluxe King I RESERVED months ago wasn't ready and they don't know when it will be available. I was […] also told that it is "first come first serve basis" which basically means I was too late to check in if I wanted to have the room I reserved. We were exhausted for driving for hours, we took the available room which was two queen beds. The bathroom wasn't so nice. It seemed very old. The facets were loose, but functional. TV or its remote wasn't working well. There were two conditioners and no shampoo. The room was spacious, the view from the room wasn't amazing, but mostly greens from the trees at the pool, which was nice. It was worthwhile for the weekday price. "Great for my overnight stay"
This was my first time at Hard Rock. I enjoyed the casino and bar. My room was comfortable and well appointed. The only complaint I had is that the ventilation in the bathroom area is very poor. It always smelled faintly like someone had recently used the bathroom and it hadn't fully aired out yet. This was bothersome, but as I was rarely in the room, […] it didn't really affect me. "Casino Tower is lame"
I rarely bother to rate hotels but had to write about HRH Casino Tower. It is lame for a couple of reasons; 1) the door keys rarely work and need to be replaced several times. My colleague had the same problems with his room. 2) the towels were about as good as what you would expect at a Motel 6.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"STAY IF YOU LIKE LOTS OF CIGARETTE SMOKE"
With everyone smoking on the casino floor, hallways, elevators, made me feel like I was stuck back in the 70's or 80's. When I got back home and unpacked my clothes smelled of disgusting smoke. Great place for smokers, but if you are a non smoker avoid the Hard Rock.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
