Overview

Location. The Four Seasons Las Vegas is located on the south end of The Strip in Las Vegas, Nev. By comparison, this non-gaming hotel is considerably smaller than the mega-resorts in Nevada's Sin City, but no other property has garnered as many accolades and awards from prestigious travel publications as the Four Seasons Las Vegas.
Hotel Features. Opened in 1999, this hotel is staffed with professionals who pride themselves on name recognition and have created an environment that feels much more like an elegant home than a hotel. Complete with fresh flowers and complimentary apples, the lobby is a stylish venue where sunlight reflects off Italian marble floors and polished wood interiors. Beneath blue skies and soaring palms, the 8,000 square-foot garden is an inspiring outdoor experience. This outdoor oasis also boasts a free-form splash pool that is surrounded by chaise lounge chairs and Romanesque columns. The Spa unveiled a line of treatments that were designed to harness the healing powers of the desert. With 16 elegant treatment rooms and such remedies as the Thai Herbal Poultice Massage, The Spa has secured a place among Conde Nast Traveler's 'Top 10 Resort Spas in North America and the Caribbean.'

Guestrooms. Guestrooms boast a collection of contemporary furniture, high-end designer carpets and enchanting views of The Strip. Beds are draped beneath 400-thread-count Egyptian linens. Four Seasons Las Vegas greets children with age-appropriate amenities such as small bathrobes and bath toys, and even spells out the child's name on the tub using colorful sponge letters. Guestrooms feature CD and DVD players, 42-inch flat-screen televisions wireless Internet access.

Expert Tip. In addition to the Four Seasons Las Vegas' many amenities, guests have access to several free-form pools, a wave pool beach, a lazy river and 22 restaurants at the adjacent Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Four Seasons Las Vegas The Strip

A short guide to The Strip

Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. A monorail links several hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

I was surprisingly unimpressed by the Four Seasons, Las Vegas. We stayed on a whim with our 2 year old because we liked the idea of not having to bring him through a casino to get to the room. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, with 3rd night free deal, but it was still quite expensive, and you can't get around the fact that you are at the very south end of the strip. I had heard the Four Seasons does not "nickel & dime" you, but this was not the case. $14.99 per day for internet that did not work (had to go to business center to book flights...), an outrageous $19.00 per day for Valet (all other hotels offer free valet). Yes, we could have parked at Mandalay Bay but the Valet was full. The suite felt dated compared to others we have stayed at (Wynn, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay...). Overall, it was a fine experience, but I would never pay that kind of money again when there are better options all over the strip.

After a week at a different hotel for a conference, we "got away from it all" Quiet and classy. The negatives: self parking was a long walk. The airport is real close, so when you are at the pool or on the outside dinning area, you do hear loud air craft. We never heard the noise when inside though. And we had a high dollar suite, but not much of a view. However, we didn't go there to look out the window! Great staff and it was nice to get away from the smoke and gamblers. We almost forgot we were in Vegas. Already planning to return.

The Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is a beautiful property with attentive service. Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff is not on the same page with regard to attention and service as everyone else. We arrived in our room which we were told was an "upgraded" room. We didn't see much of an upgrade; it seemed pretty standard to us. My husband asked what the upgrade was and was told that we had floor to ceiling windows. OK; that's fine. The problem was that I kept noticing spots in the watercloset at the base of the commode and kept thinking it was urine but couldn't imagine that the housekeeping staff would have left that. Surely, they cleaned the bathroom, I thought. The next morning, I couldn't stand it and wiped at some of the spots with tissue and it was urine. My husband went down to the front desk and told the manager and he was basically told that "houskeeping will take care of it today." I was surprised at the response to urine on the floor. As I looked around, I noticed food crumbs on the carpet and when I moved an ottoman, there was a peanut. That's when it became clear: the room had been changed (toiletries, towels -- and I hope -- sheets), but it had not been cleaned. We called this time and asked for someone to come to the room to view these spots and crumbs with us. A manager came, agreed the room had only been changed, and said he'd have us moved, which he did. We received a note and small dessert from the houskeeping manager. I told the hotel manager on checking out that I was upset there was a problem, but rather it was the response to the problem of urine of the floor that was inappropriate for a matter as serious as this one was. In my mind, the hotel should have moved us immediately, given us a much nicer room, and comped us one night for having to stay in a room where we were walking on the previous guests' urine and food crumbs. Service is always No. 2 at a hotel. Cleanliness should be Job 1. Lastly, turndown service was very late (after 10:00) on

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons Las Vegas. The hotel feels truly secluded from the casinos and the Las Vegas vibe, yet is directly accessible to them so it is easy to get out and have as much fun as you want. Our room was extremely spacious and had all of the amenities, plus some that were extra nice to have such as a very nice coffee maker, a very useful shoe horn and a great clothes brush. The daily paper came in an attractive Four Seasons bag, and the free overnight shoe shine offered returned a pair of our shoes back in meticulous condition. The honor bar in the room was also surprisingly reasonably priced and did not have the obnoxious sensors that make me want to avoid ever even consider using the honor bar. The bed was very nice and the pillows and linens were of the highest quality. The bathroom was nearly ideal for me – it had a separate shower and tub and the toilet was in its own small room with a door. The only element missing was a bidet, but that is extremely rare in the U.S.! The towels in were very functional – not velvet soft, but lightweight and very absorbent. We also received fresh towels with when the did housekeeping and at turn down. Also, the turn down was fantastic – no chocolate on the pillows, but, a small bottle of water with a glass is set at each bedside and slippers laid at the side of the bed on a square of linen. I really liked that touch. The room had abundant storage – there were drawers in the bedroom and in the closets, plus ample closet space and hangers. The gym and spa facilities were superb. The gym equipment was top of the line and in good shape, and each aerobic machine had a towel, headsets and a bottle of water in place ready for the next guest. Plus, there were decanters of cold water with lemon or cold Gatorade available to the side. The sauna and steam room were first rate, and the showers in the men’s locker room had the large flat shower heads that I enjoy. The Veranda restaurant was terrific and e

After that I went to my room and called the front desk and another lady said they had rooms available but they could not guarantee the same price I paid when booking through hotels.com. I love this hotel. The one thing my husband commented on constantly was the air... it was like it was imported from Hawaii and only available to the Four Seasons guests. We visited all the other classey hotels.... Ceasars, Mandalay, Venetian, Paris, Ballagio, Planet Hollywood.... but they were so crowded, busy at all hours of the night, and the casino air full of smoke rose to the other floors. Four Seasons is quiet, no one was in the hallways or in the lobby at 3:30AM when I came back from partying all night. And the best part.... NO SMOKEY casino. It really felt good coming home from the strip... actually it felt like you were going to Hawaii from the Strip. Oh and their mattress is by far way more Heavenly than the Westin's Heavenly bed that they promote so much. I lifted the covers and it's a Sealy Mattress specially designed and made for Four Seasons. I will be calling find out how to purchase one.

Leave the frenzy behind - this hotel, during pool season, makes you feel like you are a million miles away from all the crowds of Las Vegas. The hotel is actually quite small so the staff will know you by name after a day or so. The scene at the pool bar feels like a private country club - yes, you can access all of Manadalay's acres of pool - but why fight the crowds - just hang out at the intimate Four Seasons pool and relax. This hotel has the most outstanding and professional yet friendly staff I have ever encountered. Awesome hotel - if there is ever a deal on price - jump on it.

The Four Season exceeded my expectations. The hotel room was gorgeous. Flat screen TV, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with soaking tub. Check-in and Check-out was a breeze. You have direct access to the Mandalay Bay Hotel's casino and pools (which are amazing). Most importantly, they accept pets. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

the four seasons was just wat we needed in such a noisy place as Las Vegas. It was very quiet, friendly staff. it was a pity that the wireless internet did not work but we could get connected whithout wireless. It was also very good that there was no casino indoor, only in Mandala Bay. Perhaps a name somewhere on the building would be helpfull to find the hotel.

We didn't bother going out of the hotel much. It was such a calm sanctuary in the middle of a chaotic and busy time in Vegas. We spent most of our time enjoying the pool area.

We stayed in the four seasons for three nights in july. The hotel is lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We opted for the upgrade to a room facing the strip, it was worth it amazing view. It is a nice peaceful hotel after seeing the hustle and bustle of the other hotels which have casinos. You can access the casino in the hotel next to the four seasons, which also contains a shuttle to other hotels further down the strip.
