We loved this hotel, especially for the price, and there were no surprises when it came time to check out. The bathroom was large, with an oversized soaking tub we both got a lot of use out of. The room was quiet and kept spotlessly clean, with a nice view of the Strip. The bed was comfortable. The staff were all helpful and friendly, including the housekeeping staff we met in the hallway. The location of the hotel is perfect, across the street from the Bellagio and close to all the action on the Strip. We appreciated the fact that the hotel kept our bags free of charge while we wandered around until our airport shuttle arrived. We had a wonderful time, and would definitely choose Planet Hollywood again.

I came to Vegas with a friend and stayed at PH because it had a great rate and I knew it was pretty new, so I thought it would be nice. We were in a Resort Room (an upgrade from the Hollywood Hip room) and we were very disapointed. There are very few lamps in the room and they emit very little light. The room was much to dark for my liking. (You would not have been able to comfortably read a book in this light). There were no robes in the room (it was advertised that robes would be in all Resort Rooms). The TV was very poorly placed in an entertainment center on a wall perpendicular to the beds. I could not even see the tv from my bed and the tv did not pull out. there was no real closet, only a small space in the entertainment center to hang shirts. The room just did not live up our standards. The casino however was nice (very fun DJ on Saturday night in the casino) and the location of the hotel is great (right in the middle of strip). On the whole though, I would not stay there again for recommend the rooms.

My girlfriend and I stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. Our room was dirty, there was a hole in the shower wall, and the sheets look like they had blood on them. During our first night, my girlfriend woke up with bug bites on her. We brought this to the attention of the front desk and they sent up security to inspect the room. They were just going to change the bedsheets and the dirty comforter, but we insisted on a new room. We finally got one, but our stay was tainted by the experience. The new room was a suite overlooking the strip, and it was nice, but the hotel was still filled with lowbrow drunkards who left their empty beer cans all over the place...in the elevators, hallways, casino, etc., which the staff neglected to pick up.

We spent a long weekend in Planet Hollywood. After reviewing the pictures online and reading the reviews, we were excited about our stay. The first frustration was checking in. The line was ridiculously long not once but twice. The first time we arrived, we decided to grab some lunch and walk around before trying to check in due to the crazy line in the lobby. Maybe this is how Vegas is on weekend, but I thought the casino should have responded better to line. When we return later that afternoon, the line was even longer. This time, the casino at least came around with water while we waited. By the time we got to the front of the line, we found out the hotel was majorly oversold and they might try to walk us. Luckily, they didn't. As a result, they upgraded us to an executive suite. The room was very nice, but the space was poorly laid out and not enough lighting in the room. The casino floor was rather confusing and scatter all over the place, so we didn't spend much time in it. We found ourselves going other places for activities. What was great is that Planet Hollywood was really close to a lot of things and had great shopping in Miracle Shops. We did really enjoy ourselves. I would stay there again, but I am would check other options first.

Loved the location right in the middle of everything. Minor complaints, but all in all a great deal. The room was large and very nice, but the layout was odd. Huge television that was difficult to see from the beds and a lot of dead space outside the bathroom. The first day the room was not cleaned very well, but after that they did a great job. Were charged a resort fee (water, paper), but had to ask housekeeping for the water. There are guest service desks throughout the casino, but they are not there to help, but to show you property in the other tower. A little offputting the time we asked for directions, were begrudgingly given them and then told that because he helped that we should go to the presentation. That is NOT guest service. Buffet staff, other than our waiter, were unpleasant, and I don't understand why the breakfast and lunch buffets don't overlap. Got at line at 10, got seated at 10:20, and breakfast was being cleared before 11. Most buffets will have breakfast and lunch out simultaneously for at least a short period of time. For $15pp, you shouldn't feel pushed out. I'm sure we could have stayed and had lunch, no on asked us to leave, but we still wanted breakfast. Other than those minor annoyances, we had a great experience. We were given unexpected perks and the majority of the staff were a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others

the rooms were nice, the location is convenient, but the door people at prive are very rude. if you do not plan to go to the nightclubs at planet hollywood, then this is a good place to stay. but if you do, don't stay here. the doorman at prive was very rude to us - he told us that a friend we were with was not within dress code and then proceeded to let the guy behind us wearing a t-shirt in. after that we asked him what the dress code was so that he could go upstairs to the room and change and he ignored us, acted like he didn't see us and we were right in front of him. then we finally got the attention of another door man (he was also trying to ignore us) and we asked him what the dress code was and he pointed to the rude one and said 'whatever he decides' part of the reason we stayed there was to have the convenience of being able to just take the elevator downstairs and enjoy a night out without having to go elsewhere. unfortunately this was not the case. we ended up having fun at other casinos and clubs that had friendly staff.

I booked a combo room upgrade/ complimentary drinks through Hotels.com that was reasonably priced. The upgrade was awesome. I was in room 2239 and had a view of the entire southern end of the strip from the bed via floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom was monstrous with a deep soak tub that also overlooked the strip. there was a separate shower enclosure, two separate counters and sinks and a separate small room for toilet. My *only* complaint about the room was that the toilet room door swung into the room and barely cleared the toilet - pretty awkward moving around in there because of that. It would be impossible to deal with using a wheelchair. Both the bedroom and the bath had large screen plasma TV's. The casino is connected to a mall, so I went and purchased bubble bath to enjoy the tub. The room service prices were definitely higher than they were in the restaurants, not including the gratuity and service charge. I didn't order room service, although I did notice a nearby room ordered chocolate covered strawberries. Their tray was by their door when I checked in around 8 pm and was still there when I checked out around 11 am the next day. I did notice construction noise from the street below - this hotel is directly across from the new city center, so the streets and the city center are under construction. It is not possible currently to access the hotel driving south on Las Vegas Blvd. the complimentary drinks actually was an entire fifth of alcohol - could choose from a short list of 5-6 types rum, wine, champagne, whiskey, vodka, etc. Make some friends and have fun!

But the running water in the rooms made a lot of noise. The only downfall was they couldn't give us a connecting room and they couldn't give us 3 rooms on a non-smoking floor. But the smoking floors did not smell like cigarettes at all, so it was okay. Going through the casino to find the elevator to go back to the rooms is a maze in its own and there aren't really directions on where the registration is if you don't go through valet.
