I know for the area the price might seem gd, but this hotel needs to change their carpets and paint and put brighter lights and not look a creepy hole in the wall

I will never stay there. staff was not helpful. They are remodeling the hotel and never informed be about it. I had to change rooms 2 times during my stay. First time, I requested non smoking room and even though it was a non smoking room it was obvious that people had been smoking there. Couldn't stay in that room for more than 5 minutes. I don't liked that hotel is very dirty, the service wasn't nice, only is in perfect ubication, but they need change the carpet, that was nusty, my baby was playing and his foot was dirty, is terrible, we cant sleep because the sheets smelt bad, oh my god.

I decided to rent a hotel room at the beach side and wanted one walking distance from the beach and reasonably priced. This hotel hit both requirements and the pictures online did not seem bad. Free wifi included and restaurant on premises and complimentary parking. . However when we got there, the front desk employee was very rude, very poor customer […] service. The lobby was ok, with a parrot and some unique chairs on display. When we embarked the journey to the room things got scary. the hallways were gloomy, dark, the carpets stained and the tiny elevator creaked as it was taking us to the 5th floor. Supposedly the hotel will be undegoing renovations, which are desperately needed. We made it to the room, which was surprisingly clean considering the corridors. We left to the pool area, small but clean and spent most of th evening there. The beach is across the street which was the main reason I braved the stay. They have a restaurant attached with a great view to the beach but pricey compared to the quality of food offered. It is more like a bar than restaurant. The staff at the restaurant was very nice and attentive. Would I come back, probably not. But like the saying goes " You get what you pay for". Ill be doing better research next time around. I booked a room for 1 night memorial weekend. I wanted to be close to the beach and all the Bars and restaurants. Location is perfect. I would only suggest this place if your looking for a cheap place just to sleep for the night. The room itself was tiny. The location is great, it's beach front with easy access to restaurants and bars. However, the hotel is tremendously outdated, dingy, and unappealing. The water is yellow and pools in the shower. The carpet in the room has stains and the tile grout in the bathroom is filthy. Although staff is relatively helpful, the hotel needs serious updating.

Waterfront location.Beach cross the street.Walking distance to bars, restaurants and shopping.Condition of the hotel is terrible.Need major renovation.On the other hand rooms are in better shape that the hotel itself.If you are on the budget and looking for great locations, Sea Club Resort is a good deal.

The hotel's location is great! A stone throw away from the beach, short walk to restaurants/bars. For a short fellas getaway on the beach the hotel was fine, we didn't spend alot of time in the room. It's a older hotel with outdated rooms but it was clean. You really can't beat the price though for being right on the beach.

Don't expect this place to be nice. It is a old Fort Lauderdale hotel that is cheap to stay in. We did not have bed bugs and the access to the beach was outstanding. The hotel needs to be updated but what do you expect for 50 dollars. The staff was friendly they do overbook so be sure you are there at 3:00 for check in. There is a 2.22 charge for a […] safe in your room to lock up valuables for each day you are there. That would have been nice to know before we got there because with a school it is important to account for every dollar. Great location! Within walking distance to all of the action. Across the street from the beach and they have a great bar/restaurant with a great view of the ocean. Front desk provides beach towels and beach chairs. The rooms with doors to the outside halls are much better than the rooms in the interior halls. Almost everything about this hotel is outdated. Traveling alone I stay there for the location and accept the hotel for what it is. I stay one to three times a year. Have been doing that for years. I took my wife to this hotel the Saturday before mothers day.It was ok, but it could use a lot of updating. The location is perfect, is about .7 miles away from beach place so it's a nice little walk on the beach to get to Fat Tuesday. It's a good hotel to rent if you are staying for one night

The poor hotel needs about $3 million invested in renovations... it is a comfortable bed, has insanely hot water with crazy water pressure but that is about it...which is fine for us. This hotel is a bit dated, but very nice location right on the beach. Friendly management and staff. Adjoining restaurant/bar has fun atmosphere and pretty darn good food - especially for breakfast. I would stay here again for the same reasonable rate.

Hotel was unique, but the elavators were very scary, so we took the stairs. hallways and stairways were not clean at all, and only one woman at the front desk was nice. Everyone else was kind of rude or abrupt. The room was clean, but very old. It was across the street from the beach!!! and we were not there long, so overall, not bad for the price.

Loved the fact that its right in front of the beach. The rooms however were outdated and not so clean. If your looking for a hotel on the beach and don't wanna spend 200$ a night then this is the place to be. Just know you pay for what you get. Great customer service however !!
