Yes, we actually felt as though we were somewhere, as opposed to nowhere, which is the norm for Dallas hotels. Our kids loved riding the free McKinney Avenue trolley to the Dallas Museum of Art. The pool was a little too deep for our two, 4.5 feet, but it looked like a great place to hang out. Beds were comfy, everything worked. Staff was super-friendly. Made me forget what a bargain I had found...

It took about half an hour to check in even though there was no line. The signs say the hours of operation for the restaurant and bar but those aren't the hours. When the restaurant and bar were open, the service was bad unless you were 21-25 years old and female. Public restroom outside restaurant was out of paper towels and toilet tissue both nights. Otherwise, nice property and the spa was good.

I've worked across the street from the Crescent Court Hotel for many years, but this was the first time I've stayed there since I no longer live in Dallas. The hotel is beautiful throughout. The lobby, hallways and room are all top-notch. My specific room (which was about a 1/3 of the published rack rates) unfortunately had 2 double beds rather than a king and was positioned right above the hotel's main air conditioning units so there was a bit of background noise that I wouldn't expect in a 4.5-5 star hotel. But, I think that was because of the cheap rate I got, and is not typical of the hotel itself.

My wife and I have been very long and hard schedules for three weeks. We need to get away and rest up by doing nothing. The Crescent provided such a place. The only bump in the road we had was with room service the first night. They were 30 mins late but as with any outstanding hotel they made it up to us with chocolate covered strawberries and other extras. We were there for two and half days and recharged our batteries.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service. Their ammenities such as appetizers in the afternoon and shampoo/toiletries in the room cannot be beat. The only slight problem we had was that we had made our reservations the day before on hotels.com and they did not have record of it yet and we almost had to stay in a room with two double beds on our "romantic" getaway - - after insisting we were given the last one which happened to have been double-booked. Thankfully - we got to it first.
