Our family of 4 stayed here for Spring Break. Hotel room was well laid out with a separate bedroom for the parents and pull out couch for the kids. The kitchen was great for storing snacks and warming up leftovers. The full breakfast had a nice selection. Can't say enough nice things about the Doormen/Valet! We could walk to most any place on Magnificent […] Mile and the train was just a block away for anyplace not in walking distance. I was on crutches and the staff bent over backwards to help from offering to carry bags, opening doors, to getting my food for me. Always a pleasure to stay at this hotel. The breakfast and light dinner was great with my mobility being restricted this visit.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect!!!!! The rooms are as advertised, very clean. The beds aren't the most comfortable, but I would imagine that is as much about the person as the bed, except for the the pull-out, they all stink, no matter what. The breakfast was great, lots of selection and waffle machines!

This hotel was perfect for our stay. It was in the heart of Chicago and we could walk wherever we wanted to go. The staff was extremely helpful. The room was clean. It was also nice to have breakfast and a light dinner provided.

Wonderful hotel and would stay again. However, there was wrong with the frig which caused it to make a loud noise every once in a while. My stay was short and I didn't figure it out soon enough to bring it to the attention of the hotel.

Our room was a haven at the end of an exhausting 2 days. I asked for a quiet room & thats exactly what we got. Very clean. Well maintained. Furniture dated in living room but clean. Would definitely return. Staff great.

A pool was important for the kids, 4 and 10, and the 19th floor indoor pool didn't disappoint. Nothing super fancy, but it satisfied the kids just the same. We stayed 3 nights and only one night did we have anyone else in the pool around 7 PM. The daily breakfast was sufficient....lots of choices with a main egg dish, sides like sausage, hash browns, […] or biscuits w/gravy, as well as cereal, baked goods, and oatmeal with lots of toppings. We stayed Monday-Thursday so we were able to utilize the nightly dinner. The website says they offer hot appetizers, but it was more like real meals with pasta primavera and breadsticks, meatballs & mashed potatoes with vegetables on the side, and BBQ chicken sandwiches w/ green beans. There was only 1 meal choice offered each night but compliments like salad or soup were also presented. Above all, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was incredible. The kitchen was perfect---couldn't have asked for more for our family of 4. Also, there's a food store just a five minute walk away to stock the fridge and help with meal preparation. This was an incredible family vacation and we all agreed we will be back time after time.Was also within great walking distance (with a 4 year old, no less) of American Girl and John Hancock Building. This hotel is hightly recommended by our entire family! Pack some food for in between, use the breakfast and dinner offerings, and enjoy your time here! Read more

I was here for a portion of my residency for college. My family came with me and we made a week's long vacation out of it. The hotel was easily located in the heart of downtown Chicago, and the rates were acceptable. The parking rates were a bit extreme, since we didn't get our car out even once and had to pay $42 a night for concierge services, but […] the staff were excellent. The staff were the most curteous that I have ever experienced in my travels! The breakfast was small, but fit everyone's wants and needs, and the staff kept it clean and were very polite and assistive. The door men and concierge persons were very respectable of the guests and very polite in every interaction. The taxis in the town were easy to catch, and a short walk to hundreds of locales was a great fit, too. I will definately stay here again in my next trip to the Windy City. Read more

We had a great stay. We were in town for the Strictly Sail Show at Navy Pier we will definitely stay again, a pet friendly option would make the only place we stay in Chicago as long as the rates remain low.

The hotel was very conveniently located to shopping and museums. The room is very spacious with full sized refrigerator and small stove. Great option for my family! We also loved the evening dinner. Great value, a block from the train -- so easy to get to from the airport, and right on the free trolley line for touring and a visit to Navy Pier for fablous fireworks. Managers reception is a light dinner more than a snack. Good time was had by all. Thank you!

The hotel was conveniently located, the valet staff and front desk staff were very pleasant. However, I had a non-smoking room that smelled of cigarette smoke the entire time. In addition, the elevators were extremely slow. Fortunately, I was next to the stairwell. Also, the rooms are not sound proof. Overall the hotel is nice, the room was clean and the hotel was well maintained overall. The staff is very helpful,they even sent coffee up to our room at 2am. The only downside was the buffet, breakfast was good but the dinner wasn't very good at all. The hotel was centrally located to all the things we wanted to see.

Our family stayed at this hotel the first couple of days after Christmas. We selected this hotel primarily because it offered one-bedroom suites for a great value. While having the separation of the bedroom from the rest of the space was nice for our family, it should be noted that the fold-out bed in the living area is very uncomfortable. Room needed lots of repairs; door was broke, window would not close and it was freezing! We talked to front desk and they came in the room and said they would fix it and never did. The maids and valet were nice but I would not stay there again.
