"Excellent Service"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The staff were super helpful and friendly. Service was impeccable. The room was a little small but it was very clean, well designed, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was delicious and we slept like babies.
"Great hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
As usual, Red Roof Inn failed to disappoint me when I have looked for a balance between cost and decency of accommodation. Indeed, it is the best value for the buck and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I had to change my booking and then check out early due to personal reasons but the hotel didnt flinch but rather gave me (through Hotels.com) a full refund for unspent nights. Needless to say, I will prefer to stay here when I can.
"Great value, beautiful views"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We enjoyed the convenient location(right on the Endicott campus). Literally a short walk to the beach. Staff was helpful and friendly. Bed was listed as Queen size but it was actually a full size which was a bit small for the two of us. Otherwise, very enjoyable and would stay there again.
"Very nice hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Our son goes to college close by and we would stay here again. Very clean, staff was very nice and the breakfast was a bonus. Easy to get to and plenty of places to eat close by.
"close to airport"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012

"Hotel in back bay"
I loved my resent stayed at the Hilton hotel, spent the hole day with my girlfriend, loved the view ,windows was able to open wich gave us fresh air. Hotel was verry cleaned guest service was nice and polite. Only thing we didn't like was the fact that we couldn't get the highest floor that we wanted , ended up getting the 18th fl, out of 26.

Perfect access to Hynes Convention Center. Great property and perfect service.
"Best of a bad situation"
I stayed here and the night I checked in the transformer nextto the building started on fire and the hotel was evacuated and we were not able to get into the hotel at all until the next day due to the loss of power to the hotel and the entire Back Bay area. However, the staff went above and beyond to make us as comfortable as possible. We had meals […] provided the next morning and drinks across the street provided. There was no way for the staff to prevent this situation and they did everything they could to help out. We were the only hotel to have power the next day since the Hilton had already ordered a truck sized generator. For a situation such as our I could have not asked for anything more. I would reccomend this to anyone. Hotels.com also refunded me some of the total cost for the situation. Thank you to everyoen involved. Read more
"Fun St Paddy's day in Boston"
Fantastic hotel, great helpful staff, perfect location for shopping and food. Had a power outage a few days before so neighbourhood affected but nothing else to complain about.
"Over Priced"
For the hotel to be "old school" it was overpriced. OK rooms and location was good, but parking was terribly over priced as was the room. When I return I will stay in a different hotel and save the money.
"First time at the Hilton"
Basically we just slept there, but the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water and water pressure for a shower and enjoyed the bath products. I always shop the best deal before booking, so with another deal without a doubt would stay again.

The service was excellent. The hotel is in an convenient location
"Comfy room"
I didn't dare touch the water or coffee in the room because I didn't want a big add-on bill, but there are stores (Tedeschi, Dunkin Donuts) and interesting restaurants- Indian, Thai, Vietnamese a block away over on Mass Ave. Bed great, shower awesome, odd sounds that may have been the elevator or the subway (10 floors down?) but it didn't keep us […] up. The building is a little dated, but I enjoyed my stay, and the location is hard to beat
"Hilton Back Bay Boston"
Overall we had a very nice stay at the hotel. There was an issue with getting an elevator in the hotel. It looked as if one of the main three elevators was broken. With what I believe was only two working elevators, getting around within the hotel came to a snails pace at key times. If all elevators were working, I found the hotel to be clean, efficient, […] very centrally located and overall a great place to stay. Read more

Great stay. Had a couple of issues with room key not working but other than that excellent stay...
"Great Neighborhood"
We enjoyed this 9th floor rooms beautiful view of sunset out towards Northeastern & Fenway area. Ventured out into the back Bay Neighborhood with stops at Dillions for drinks, to the top of the Pudential to see the city lit up and then down into the Back Bay Social Club for some eats. Great little loung back at the Hilton for nightcaps! King Bed was […] fantastic. Walked to Tremont 647 for breakfast. Loved this area of Boston. Read more

when we checked in we didn't get the 2 beds we were promised by the hotel.com operator who make me think he was a Hilton employee. Was promised by desk clerk we would have double bed next night. when we got there guess what? was told they were sold out. After talking to mgr. they found one some where. From that point on stay was very pleasant. And mgr […] was very helpful. If I had not insisted on speaking to a mgr. I'd just been left in the room with one bed with 3 people. (they did offer a nice rollaway the first night) Have to give them credit where credit is due. Read more
"Almost Perfect"
My son and I arrived for late check in. I had reserved a double queen room. Upon check in, we were given a king room although they did hook us up with a larger king room for the added space for a roll away. Also the restaurant/bar closed quite early for a friday night. Other than that, great place and location as well as the staff.

"Hilton Boston"
I like the restaurant and the beds are so comfortable I fall asleep on accident. Only downside is I wish they had balconies like the Radisson so it was easier to smoke. I think some rooms have balconies but noones I have gotten.
"smokin'"
The Hotel is lovely but our room smelled of cigarette smoke. We inquired at the front desk at check in and were advided they "spray it out". It smelled just as bad when we returned 3 hours later so they set up an air filter machine. That improved things a bit. I wish they had just changed out room. Plus it was so hot all night we didn't need any blankets. […] We could lower the temp ??? Read more
"everything great!"
Stayed for a night with the girls. Staff was one of the nicest I've had in a hotel. They were so happy to bring me items to room I needed and very nice at front desk. Of course this is a great location and everything was clean and modern! Nothing to complain about at all!
"good location not worth the price"
NIce room, nice view, expensive. The room was dusty the air stagnant. I had two sodas and two beers sent up cost me $38.00 plus the porter waited for a write in tip, $10.00 sooooooo $ 48.00 for two sodas and two hienekens. Wow. I repeat... Wow! Read the room service charges before you order. 16.5% added gratuity, $5.00 guest charge, 3% fee, and the […] porter waits for a tip. Really? Really? I know its the hilton but its more Paris Hilton than her father... Read more

"Hilton Back Bay"
The hotel was awesome in all aspects but one. We were booked for a handicap-access room and the shower, although adjustable, was only at neck height. The closet pole was also mounted low - great if you are handicapped, but awkward for a full-length coat in the winter. They said there was no other option available for us. Breakfast was not included in […] the price. Read more
"Nice hotel, but I'll never stay here again."
My husband and I stayed for one night last weekend at the Hilton Back Bay. The room was very nice, clean, and in good condition. At around 1:00 am we were woken up by noisy neighbors a few rooms down the hall. I opened the door and saw an obviously intoxicated woman talking very loudly on her cell phone. I asked her to quiet down, but after 10-15 minutes […] it didn't let up. There was also a second group sitting on a bench by the elevator who were also drunk and being loud. At this point I decided to call hotel security. About 15 minutes late I heard some voices in the hall so we opened the door and 2 security personnel. We told them we were the ones that called and asked them to guy the noisy drunk girls out f the office. They said "no problem we'll take care of it." It was quite for about 10 minutes before the whole episode started again - a bunch of drunk girls poured out of the elevator and continued loitering in the hallway. This went on for several minutes, and then my husband went into the hallway and asked them to quiet down. They could have cared less and continued making a racket. At this point we called security for the second time, and gave them the specific room number for the noisy drunk girls. W saw the security staff com up to our floor a few minutes ago and speak w/ some of the girls. After another 5-10 minutes it seemed to quiet down. I was not happy that it took two calls to security before this was resolved. I think they could have handled this is a much better, much quicker fashion. It made me wonder how they'd deal w/ a more serious situation in the hotel since they couldn't manage to quiet down a few noisy drunk girls. I will stay at other Hilton Hotels again, but not this one. Read more
"Close to Berklee"
We chose this hotel because it was so close to Berklee College of Music. It was very convenient. It was clean and the staff was attentive.
"hilton back bay"
only issue was that the confirmed room wasn't available (double beds) - had to have a king, was compensated with breakfast coupons.
"hilton boston back bay"
Parking is very expensive at the Hilton. Room service food was expensive and not very good.
"back bay hilton"
room was cold even when i crank the temp up. curtain did not close fully. bathroom shower door is very narrow, it make getting in and out clumsy. ask for extra towels but they forgot to bring it up.
"Great Stay"
We loved the Hiltion Back Bay. The people there were great and very helpful. The room was clean and we had a great view of the city. The hotel is location is very convenient. and it was very close to the Prudential Mall and Coplay Plaza. I would definitely go back to the Hilton.
"The Hotel Hilton Boston Back Bay"
We had a very nice stay at the Hilton. Close to everything and had a nice parking garage attached to hotel. Restaurant in hotel was very good also.
"Very nice, not quite as cheap as it looks"
Nice luxurious hotel close to everything in the Back Bay, good walkable neighborhood without much traffic, clean, etc. Great view from our corner room! When figuring your costs, don't forget to include parking (owch) and internet access (silly that they still charge for it, but they do!).

"FANTASTIC!!!!!!"
Overall this hotel scored very high...i have no complaints ....the location is great..easy access to Newberry St, short walk to numerous high quality restaurants...subway is close...had a great time with my wife over the Christmas weekend
"It was better than average."
As I say in the title, it was better than average. Nothing great, but not bad either. If you are in Boston for a short visit, and paying from your own pocket, certainly a good choice.

"Hilton Back Bay Boston - conveniently located"
The hotel is very conveniently located to the Newbury St/ Back Bay/ Copley area, and close to Green and Orange line T stops. It is right across the street from an entrance to the Prudential/Hynes complex (through another hotel). The lobby was very nice, and the service fabulous. Our room was a decent size, although the bathroom was quite small. Everything […] was very clean. It's definitely not a 4 or 5 star hotel, but very good, especially for the price. The view from our room was a bit disappointing, since it is blocked by several other very tall buildings, but again, good enough, considering the price. Read more
