However, it was so far at the end of the boardwalk, it wasn't really near other casinos. The Casbah club was dead for a Saturday at midnight. I went to Taj Mahal to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. It was a really nice hotel but the crowd was too old compared to Caesars, Tropicana and Ballys. Got a great deal on a suite in the Taj Mahal Tower. Great room size, but no WIFi available in any part of the suite (called to schedule a service ticket) but we left before anything could be fixed. 3 pronged shower head with only 2 of the 3 heads working.....

room was comfortable and clean. Did not use hotel services, location was OK but a little further than I would have liked to the other hotels and shopping mall that I like to visit, fortunately the weather was nice for walking, and we took a cart ride back to the hotel. I would stay here again.

This was my first time at the Trump Taj Mahal and I have to admit that I was very impressed! I got a room on the 42nd floor with a magnificent view of the beach and boardwalk! The room itself was a nice size with a sort of island theme going for it (doesn't really correspond with the Taj Mahal theme) but it was still inviting. I only have a few complaints. […] One is that some of the pillow cases were stained. It appeared to be washed but just stains that won't come out. I ended up using them as the bottom pillows as I had four on my bed. Our mini fridge was leaking so the carpet around that area had completely sopped up the water. We went to the front desk and they called maintenance to fix it while we were out. Once we returned the problem had been fixed so I did appreciate how prompt they were with it. I assume they used some sort of machine to suck out the water on the carpet because it was just a little damp. Otherwise my experience was a very positive one and I enjoyed celebrating my birthday at the Casbah nightclub located there. There wasn't many people for a Saturday night but I still had a great time as I don't like crowds anyway! Drinks were awesome and pretty potent and the DJ was spinning some real good music! We stayed the the Taj for my bachelorette party. Although it was far away from the clubs we wanted to go to, we just took a taxi. Very large clean rooms. Certain locations within the hotel/casino are too smokey but I guess that's expected in AC. There were 8 of us, there to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday. We went to the Eagle Bar to see Almost Angels. What a fantastic show!!! Would recommend to everyone. Overall we had a wonderful weekend!!!!

Great stay for the money and great location right on the boardwalk. The only complaint is that there is no free internet and the rooms have connecting doors. If you have noisy neighbors like we did you could hear everything. One of the nights we had to call security and they were very polite and sent someone up at 1 am. Again at 4 am the neighbors were […] obnoxiously loud and again security was very nice and this time sent a supervisor and this quelled the noise for the rest of the night. Otherwise great stay and for the price we paid for 3 nights you can't do any better. They charge $10 for parking, but try to check in first and then park in the garage because you might get free parking that way if you leave the car parked there and just walk around during your visit. Check in was fast & simple. It was a little confusing trying to get to our room at first but the security was so helpful. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Well after reading the reviews before going I wasn't expecting the Hotel to be good at all but I was overall pleased with our room. My girlfriend also liked how convenient our hotel was to the Broad walk and we though it would of been way worse. I suggest to read everyone's posting and don't jump to conclusion before reading carefully.

Right in the middle of the boardwalk, so walking distance to anywhere on the ocean side. If you have ever been to AC before you know not to walk inland toward the casinos there. You can walk to Revel right up the boardwalk to gamble if you please, or take a taxi to borgata. Both better casinos and night clubs. I would stay there again especially for the price we got it at. We enjoyed the location and hotel bars/lounges. However, the hotel room was a major disappointment. I made a point to let the hotel staff know at checkout how bad of a smell was in our room. Since we were not staying long and were not in the room that much, I didn't bother switching, but I should have. Also if you know AC, its right next to Showboat/Revel, and about 15-20 minute walk to Caesar's. One complaint - check in service. Generally unwelcoming, which I could easily get past. But they did not confirm my […] pre-made request for two double beds and when I returned to switch rooms, they acted as if it was an unreasonable and impossible request. After being told the double rooms were completely booked, they made "arrangments" to give me one of the dozens of unreserved rooms they were holding as comps.
