Initially unhappy as we were told by hotels.com that there was a casino at the hotel. They also took 25+minutes to book it on the phone. Overall not bad. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was also very good for free breakfast. On the negative side, the TV in my room (which was a nice flat screen TV) had a TERRIBLE signal. I was trying to watch my team's basketball game, and it was so grainy and pixelated, it was at times […] hard to see the ball! I don't know if this was just my room or not, because after a long day on the road I didn't have the energy to ask to switch rooms. The other negative was the size of the bathroom. The room was comfortable & clean & relatively quiet. Check-in was semi-annoying. We got there 15 minutes before advertised "check-in time" and were told we had to wait. Other people were waiting, too, so we had to stand in a line to check-in (which they started 5 minutes before advertised time anyway). Under the pressure of the line, I had to put my […] initials on the usual agreements--no smoking,etc. There was one space, however, that apparently gave them permission to charge $1.50 to my credit card to use a safe for valuables. I didn't know this until I got the receipt on check-out for the $1.50. This is a deceptive practice. They told me they took the charge off my bill, but only because I said something. Seems unethical. Room was one of the smallest we have stayed in for some time, but was clean. Desk personnel were courteous and helpful. Friday breakfast was almost gone by 8:45 with deadline at 9:00. Overall good stay and convenient for our needs.

Hotel appeared to be under renovation and was a bit iffy. Bad neighborhood. Bathroom that was extremely small. Fixtures were pathetic and difficult to control. Overall....just plain low end and we would not stay there again......or recommend it to anyone else.

Nice place. They are remodeling, our room had some paint chips on the floor and still had a bit of new paint smell. We opened the windows for a couple of hours which helped. The room itself was actually comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the breakfast. We would stay here again.

Initially my room had a nonfunctional heater so they quickly moved me to a new one. Rooms seem to be oriented towards business travellers which is fine but there weren't many wall plugs available. Outstanding breakfast buffet.

Check in staff.. quick and easy. Room was spotless and passes my barefoot test. We had a little snaffooo with them charging my credit card for the safe that we didn't use but it was taken off the next day.

Overall, very satisfied. I always enjoy having the hot breakfast. The exercise facility was nice. Recommend: Replace the desk chairs. They were pretty worn out (even the replacement one that was brought to my room at my request). Lower the desk height to accommodate using a laptop computer.

The rooms are a tad small if you have more than one person in it but would be ok for more. The rooms are a bit worn but it was still a good experience. I have stayed at the Clarion off and on over the last 3 years and find it to be a good experience.

For the price of the room, it was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and have already done this. The only thing missing is a hot tub. The breakfast was very nice.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Clarion. This is only the second time we stayed at a Clarion and we just love it. The rooms were clean, no smoky smell, and there was no noise from traffic. And the best thing we loved about the stay was the breakfast buffet. It was great! And the staff were so nice.What a wonderful place! Thank you.

The Clarion is a decent hotel. However there were 2 issues--- 1) We had asked for a refrigerator and microwave in the room, but there was neither of those in the room. 2) The hotel lobbies have some dusty smell. They should clean those. (Rooms are good though.)

Room was next to stair well and the headboad on the bed shook and woke me every time someone went down it. However the 5am wake up call never came and we missed the event that was the sole purpose of the vacation stay. Ironically it was the shaking headboard that woke me at 5:45 from all the other guests going to the same event. We scrambled out the […] door having to skip the breakfast in hopes of making the event. (didn't) I was so nervous about the wake up call when I set it that I even called the desk back a second time. I like Clarions in general. Clean. Comfortable. Good value. Good breakfast. The particular room in which I stayed the last time had peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and the desk chair was pretty shabby.

We enjoyed our stay and the price was good. Their hot breakfast was absolutely delicious. They had a hash brown, green Chili & cheese for one of the dishes and it was wonderful. We would definately stay there again. The staff was very friendly.

BUT THE ROOM WAS VERY SMALL. I HAVE STAYED HERE BEFORE AND HAD MUCH LARGER ROOMS, SO DON'T KNOW IF BOOKING THROUGH HOTELS.COM GOT US THIS TINY ROOM OR JUST BAD LUCK. BREAKFAST WAS GREAT!

I would recommend the Clarion to everyone. The room was clean and comfortable. We accidentally got placed in a room that was being fixed and all of the construction equipment was still there so, they upgraded us at no extra cost to a suite. Our room had all the amenities you could possibly need.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed all week and will be staying here again. I didn't go to breakfast but it smelled very good and it was obviously a hot breakfast with eggs and bacon, ect.
