Rates were very fair. Breakfast is good - would be nice if it was completely ready by the stated time - often had to wait for the hot items. Location close enough to shopping, restaurants, and downtown Nashville. Second time staying here and will return.

Northeast of downtown Nashville, the long-running iOpry/i radio show is broadcast from the Grand Ole Opry House. The show moved here in 1974 after a 31-year run at Ryman Auditorium. A country-music theme park operated adjacent to the Opry House until 1997. Now, Opry Mills shopping mall stands in its place. The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is also adjacent.

Clean, nice staff, great showers. Could not connect to the Internet. Call the front desk and got "The radiation from the sun misaligned the satilites that is why the Internet is down." Really??? I connected my laptop to the hotel next door and got a connection. Over all we had a nice over night stay.

Our stay at this hotel was great. The only think I did not like was that the swimming pool did not open until 10:00 in the morning. I would have perferred that it open around 7:00. We were up and on the move before 10:00 every morning.

For the price it could be cleaner. The bathroom was disgusting! Hair on the shower wall from the previous people, and dirty hand prints, toilet was dirty. They are not cleaning well enough! It is ok if all you want to do is go to Opryland. To far from downtown.

I stayed near the Grand Ole Opry, was convenient and comfortable. the staff was very courteous and willing to make my stay a good one. Room was very clean. Didn't have a chance to try the breakfast, had a late night at a show I was working with and slept through it. I recommend it and will stay again

Stayed six nights and enjoyed it. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff - all good. A little way from downtown if you want to party, but cab ride is OK. They do have a paid shuttle to the airport - ask them - it's cheaper than a cab. All-in, very good at a very reasonable rate.

Our first room had long hairs on the shower wall and the air was not working. They quickly moved us to another room, no problems. The pillows were not comfortable for me, they were feather with no other options. The only other complaint is the channel line up was not correct. The hotel was great and the location was perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the creepy hotel in front of the Best Western were you could see lots of mold on the curtains in the windows and the property itself looked not kept up. A real eye sore!

We loved this hotel because it had nice, large, comfortable rooms, wireless internet, free breakfast, free parking, a nice pool, and a great price! It only took a few minutes to get downtown, and it is close to some great restaurants. We're going back often!

Hotel is in a very safe location quiet & clean.Room was extremely nice with a queen size bed which was very comfortable. Next to Bob Evans & Cracker Barrel.We were disappointed that they did not have a shuttle Bus that they had advertised on line & in the room.we would definitely stay there again.Great value for your money.

The rates were okay, the room was clean. They were replacing all the ice machines so had to go from floor to floor to find one that was working. The biggest thing was they did not have a shuttle that they had advertised online and in the room. That was part of my decision to stay their. Had to pay a taxi to get back to the airport.

Booked this hotel on Hotels.com, very easy transaction, and inexpensive. Hotel was in a very safe location, quiet, clean. A great value, as the room was extremely nice. Next to Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel. They are undergoing renovations but it didnt affect us in the very least. I just cant say enough that for the money, it was quite the bargain. I […] would definitely stay here again in a second, with no hesitation. If you are looking for safe, inexpensive, clean hotel near the Grand Old Opry, this is your place. It felt much more upscale. Originally, I was confused because we were there to see a concert at the Ryman and I thought this was within walking distance, but I booked it even after I found out it wasnt near the Ryman because the hotels downtown were well over $100-150 per night and it wasnt that far from the Ryman, maybe 15 minute drive and half the expense of the hotels downtown.. We had booked a room with a king and a sofa/sleeper. That is exactly what we got. Upon pulling out the sleeper we found that it had no bedding, so a 10 pm my wife had to go down to the desk to get it. Not a big deal unless you have a five year old that is beyond tired and just wants to go to bed… The promise of a continental breakfast was kept. But […] unless you came down to eat early you may not have had much to select from. On our first morning we came down about half way through the posted serving time. There were no spoons or milk and our fruit selections were: a single banana or an orange. The options to eat at that point were; juice or coffee with toast or a beagle. After being asked by another gust a hotel employee did come in gave them a spoon, glared at them when they asked for milk and then, without getting any milk or saying anything, the employee went out front entrance to sweep up cigarette butts. The rest of the mornings were not much different. Thankfully there was a fast food place next door with a handy drive through. We found it hard to communicate with the housekeeping staff as they did not speak or understand English. We were still in the process of getting ready on the first morning when housekeeping knocked on our door. We asked for them to come back in an hour and they did not understand. After five minutes of talking with them my wife was asked to write our request down on paper so that housekeeping could take it to their boss. This stay did not live up to what I would expect from Best Western. If all I was looking for was room close to fast food locations I over paid. The service which should have come with the room was not there. Though I may use Best Western in the future, I will not ever stay at the Best Western Suites Near Opryland again. Read more
