Clean, nice staff, great showers. Could not connect to the Internet. Call the front desk and got "The radiation from the sun misaligned the satilites that is why the Internet is down." Really??? Very satisfied with this hotel. Rooms were large and clean staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed six nights and enjoyed it. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff - all good. A little way from downtown if you want to party, but cab ride is OK. The Best Western Stes Near Opryland was very convenient to most places. Opryland was walking distance from where the Hotel was located. Restaurants were all within walking distance as well. I was traveling with a group of 12 to attend the Grand Ole Opry. We had 6 rooms and everyone had a good experience and said their rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was nice, but nothing super. Enjoyed the waffle maker!

A friend & I just spent 10 days in Nashville & were very pleased with the service at the BW. Front desk staff were excellent & willing to help in every way possible. Great location to the Grand Ole Opry. Oprymills Mall & Opryland resort. We had a rental car so was easy to get to those spots. For going downtown, we used the downtown shuttle ($5.00 each way - very reasonable). The rooms were very spacious, lots of room to move around with 2 people. Comfortable beds, nice sitting areas where we could plug in our laptops. Spacious bathrooms, no problems with plumbing etc.... Very clean. Pillows were a little soft for my liking, but that's just me. We drove down to Memphis for 2 days, 1 night & stayed at the Heartbreak Hotel. Truthfully, I couldn't wait to get back to the Best Western. The HH was just toooo busy, the BW felt much more like home. Breakfast was adequate for me, 1 morning we would have sausage or ham & eggs, the next biscuits & gravy. Always cereal, fruit, & pastries available. I never noticed that they ever ran out of anything. I felt there was adequate seating - not everyone goes for breakfast at the same time anyway. I would just like to repeat that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & wouldn't hesitate to stay again, we loved it. The only name of the front desk crew I know is Cullen ...... so thank you Cullen & the rest of the crew for making our stay so enjoyable. Hope to see you all again someday

This hotel was very easy to locate. good accomadations for the price( better than Comfort Inn next ). easy on/off I 1-55. 15 mins from airport. 15-mins from downtown. great breakfasts. would recommend this as a good place to stay.

My displeasure with this hotel stems solely with the manager and the attitude he displayed. We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights through Best Western Central Reservations. When we checked in two rooms were changed to our friends names and credit cards. Common practice and seemingly accomplished with no problems. The second day (Sunday) we were notified by email that our AmEx card had been charged for a fourth room. When we brought this up with the desk staff we were told that the manager would need to take care of that and that he wouldn't be in until 7 am Monday morning. When we arrived at the front desk Monday morning, one of the staff was filling in the manager on our situation. We were greeted with, "I just love to come in Monday morning to this crap!" Really? That's how you address customers and begin the problem-solving part of your job? After being told numerous times that we had to take this up with Central Reservations and telling him we wanted a resolution before we left, he grudgingly issued a credit for the "no-show" charge. When our friends checked out later that morning, it took 45 minutes to straighten out the mess that check-in had made of the billing - they had the wrong people in each room, wrong credit cards for each room. Then when my wife filled out the requested survey information, we received a snotty email in response from Bill in Customer Service (I suspect this is also the manager). So Bill, in the same context you took with my wife, YOU are the manager of this establishment. It is YOUR JOB to fix these kind of problems. It IS NOT your job to belittle and blame the customer for website errors or your poor training for YOUR employees.

This Best Western is in a prime location, close to Opryland and many good restaurants. Accomodations were very good and staff service was excellent. It also has shuttle service to most of the city attractions.

I would recommend this hotel. Nice area, nice hotel, and great staff. Our room was clean,everything worked, and room was nice size. There are lots of things to do in this area and close to Opry. Would stay again. Overall experience was perfect.

Room was very clean (316) loads of storage, big bathroom, fridge,coffee machine,microwave, powerful shower,breakfast on the other hand,we'll people were sitting in reception including us as the breakfast area is far too small, this is not a good look for the hotel, breakfast consisted of toast,coffee,tea,eggs,cereal,yogurts,muffins,fresh fruit, so all in all the free breakfast is good just sitting in reception to eat it isn't but get up at 6 and it's empty after that it's every man for himself.

Here's what I told BW on their survey: To begin with I waited almost 90 minutes AFTER calling for the shuttle to pick me up. After one hour I called again and was told it was finally on the way. The driver was sweet, nice, and frankly the best part of my experience. Once at the hotel my bed was lumpy, sofa bottomed out when you sat on it, unpleasant smell - this place had once been very pretty but now sad and worn. Shower/tub did not drain and when I reported it they acted like it wasn't unusual. Breakfast was cold biscuits and they ran out of gravy almost immediately and when they did refill it was cold, uck! On checkout, I heard another person who also stayed on the 4th floor complain about a water leak. Finally, I had called to get on the shuttle downtown and I was in the lobby waiting more than 20 minutes early as instructed, announced to the front desk I was there to catch the 12:15 shuttle downtown, went and sat at the uncomfortable table and waited. The shuttle came, I couldn't see it and the front desk told them no one was waiting even though I had told them I was less then 15 minutes earlier! So the shuttle left and as I saw it pull away and ran out, the front desk admitted to me their mistake and did call it back. Start to finish a bad experience! in reading the reviews there are many others who have experienced the same problems. There are lots of other choices nearby!

The suite was spacious and clean, if a little worn. The beds were very comfortable. We were there for two nights while traveling through, and we stopped to visit Grand Ole Opry and other attractions in Nashville. This was a great location for our needs. While the breakfast room was pretty crowded, the food was good.
