My husband enjoyed the heated pool! It was a rainy ,cool weekend..temps. Between 40 and 70.. No heat in room and only warm water in the shower! I'm sure if it had been a warm summer weekend it would have been fine...BUT it was not! The swimming area.is about 30x 20 feet....small!

We are a young couple who stayed at the Tahoe Resort for a week in late September. For starters, their housekeeping staff did not restock our shampoo or soap at all so after a few days we had to chase them down and ask them for it. Our TV stopped working at two different times during our stay, although the maintenance worker fixed it the second time, […] right after I began packing our things because he told us we would have to change rooms in order to get a working TV for the night. The "heated" pool was only heated one night out of the six full days we spent there. The wifi is slow and doesn't allow you to stream Netflix which we really wanted to watch because the channels they receive at the hotel are not exactly many, or varied (3 out of the 30 or so channels that they have are the same channel). The only pluses about the hotel are the location, which is close to the town of Lake George, and the fact that our room was relatively clean and neat for the price range. I don't believe our sheets were changed once during our entire stay there, though. Overall, I think you can probably find a better place than this if you spend just a little more money per night. My husband cannot walk well, and they gave us room 304, which is ground level on the back side for ease of access, and a lovely balcony view on the front side. We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is not bad. It's on the lake and it's in a great location. Very close to the village and short drive to Boltons Landing. It's not as nice as it looks in the pictures but I would definitely stay there again.

Check in time was supposed to be at 3:00 p.m., when my family of four arrived at 3:50 p.m are room wasn't ready , we had to wait bout 45 mins. , along with other guest. The room was not as described, nor kept in a clean manner. There was sand and dirt on the floor and patio when we arrived. We watched as the house keeper literally swept from the room out onto the patio/sitting area without using a dust pan. The room appeared very cheap and tacky. The beach was honestly more of a mud/dirt pile for boat parking than something people can enjoy. Most of the staff was polite, and that's where the good ends. I'm not someone that even is a stickler when it comes to these things, but I was honestly embarrassed to bring my girlfriend here. Would never stay here again, should of went with a a chain hotel. Very nice office people make you feel comfortable.Simple rooms, lots of spider webs everywhere, they start cleaning outside with noise machines early morning and all the workers smoking on the site.

The Tahoe was great! It was on the water and had a pool. Most of the rooms had a lake veiw. Some of the rooms had a odd way to enter, it was a dark and dirty hall or outside enterance that was backed to a overgrown woods area. The rooms all had a deck area to sit and relax, lots of patio areas with tables and chairs.

Hotel location was good. They were very accomodating when we had to delay our arrival by one day. One negative comment that comes to mind is that they only served coffee in the lobby and I drink tea.

At first thought time warp back to the 1970's...clean though. building on a huge slope..clean pool but no bathrooms down there...must go back to room for bathroom. Same tray of mini muffins 4 days in a row for morning breakfast. Tiny balconiy seperated from next room by cement wall..definetly more of a motel.

When we arrived, we were disappointed by the way the hotel looked. When we booked online, they make everything look beautiful.The rooms are old, and our beds squeaked from the old frames underneath.My Son had a room that smelled like mildew. I have never seen a hotel so rundown as this one. Holes in the jamb around the door to go in. The furniture is from the 50's and so are the fixtures and tub in the bathroom. Handle on the sink kept coming off. Plus you could see between the walls and the floor in the bathroom and it was a nasty black stuff there. The beds squeaked when you just sat […] on them. Refrigerator had rusty shelves. Mismatched sheets on the beds and they never changed them the whole time we were there (Mon to Sat). The door going out to the balcony you had to slam it hard to close it and you could not lock it. We had a dead spider in our room the entire week because nobody cleans in corners. The hallways smelled so bad that it was easier to take the long way around to get to the water. Nobody cared when you complained. We were lucky that they unplugged the tub otherwise we would have been standing in water up to our knees for a week when taking a shower. The TV only got a few channels and half of them did not have any voice. Some of the channels would go out then come back and go out again that was fun watching those. The WiFi was unreal you had to put your computer next to the window to get service and then it was hit or miss as to whether it would connect or not. Enjoyed our weekend in Lake George. The hotel was a bit dated but very very clean. Well maintained and staff was constantly cleaning common areas. Stayed in this hotel a few times. Location is good and main positive is that it has its own private beach. Rooms are clean although beds are not the most comfortable . Could def use renovation....spiders and webs all over. Certainly not a 4 star or even 3 star hotel but the private section of beach (although small) keeps us coming back.

Mixed Blessings The motel needs exterior repairs (cememt block construction and some are broken or have mortor missing). The place is clean but it's obviously old. Nice pool and a beach on the lake but the lake is a long down-hill walk unless your room is at that end of the string of rooms. It was a good location. There was a restaurant near by and you could walk to town (1/2 mile.) there was a trolley car that ran from 9am to 10pm that would pick or drop you off about every 30min.The Hotel staff was very nice. We did find someones underpants in the closet (witch we left there)! The rooms were clean.
