As we walked in the room the room was old dirty and muggie , The hotel was in a bad part of town. I was woken up at 3:30 am with people screaming and fighting in the hall way. the stay was fine, getting into a room was the problem. It took me 4 hours past my time of check in to get a room. One of the clerks were very friendly at the front door the other not so friendly as if I was intruding when asking questions on why my room was ready.

I think this was one of the nastiest, filthiest hotels that I have been in. The comforter had a cigarette hole in it and there was a dead roach on the wall. The TV was old. old ......out of existence old. I thought all hotels, not motels had upgraded to flat screens??? I guess I was wrong. The microwave appeared to have been run over by a Mack 10 then […] placed back in the room or did they get it out of the garbage? It was all smashed inward on the top. All in all, it was not clean. I could not think of laying on those sheets, nor allow my family to lie there as well. That is why we checked out. When speaking to the manager, she became upset and told the clerk to just give me my money back because she did not have time to deal with me nor my complaints. How rude was that? To think that was a waste of your time to deal with a customer's issue. I will never, Never, NEVER step foot in that place again. Read more

The lobby looks immaculate for a quick stop to check in visit. Visiting the lobby in the late evening you will still see the left overs from breakfast. Walking the halls to our room, I was not surprised that the room smelled, the inside of the ice bucket was moldy with a lid that had dust film. The rooms were filthy, old, run down.The beds were uncomfortable, and the bathroom had not toiletries, 2 towels for a family of four. We only stayed one night, even though we had booked and paid for three nights, Thank God Hotel.com reimbursed the remaining monies paid. Never again.

Having read some of the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive. Even brought a can of Lysol. Wasn't needed. Was very pleased with everything about this hotel. Was clean and well kept. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Will stay there again

We booked this hotel back in January for St. Patrick's weekend. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful gentleman. He showed us a couple maps and even combined our reservations because we had two consecutive bookings. Once we had our keys, we drove to the back of the hotel to use an entrance closer to our room. After […] lugging ALL of our stuff up the stairs, we opened the door to find SOMEONE IN OUR ROOM! It took at least another 30 minutes to be assigned another room. We lugged ALL our stuff through the entire hotel to the other side and back up the stairs again. The new room was HORRIBLE. We walked in and it smelled very strongly of MOLD. We then realized the pillows were about 2" thick and we only had two towels. I went downstairs AGAIN to see about getting more of each. We ended up having to use the lumpy/thin pillows because no one could get into housekeeping. The next day we went downstairs for breakfast. That was probably the only good thing about the hotel. At breakfast, an employee was in the adjacent courtyard smoking a cigarette with her friends. The rest of our stay was not quite as eventful as the first night, but here are some of the things that contributed to our horrible stay: hallways reeked of marijuana, housekeeping didn't clean our room after the first night, there was a physical fight downstairs, and someone ran into our car in the parking lot. Biggest disappoint was the "breakfast". It was all stale sugar pastries and a waffle machine. Which also would have been fine, except there was absolutely no juice either:( Tub didn't drain, but staff was cool about letting us change rooms.The maid made a big deal about us having an hr later check out (we made sure it was good with the front desk) and […] retorted "She know we don't do late check out!" while walking away... In town for a rugby tournament, hotel was conveniently located to the venue and reasonably priced. After an initial mixup with a room being renovated, we had no complaints about the stay. I would stay there again.

Booked through Expedia--was rated as a 2.5 hotel, so we didn't expext alot. We got to our destination 2 hours early and were tired. It was such a joy to be able to check in before the stated time. Worst continental breakfast ever. Lobby area was updated and nice, but the motel rooms were dated. At late night, it was noisy in the rooms due to slamming motel doors in the hallway and barking dogs in the motel rooms.

The hotel is a bargain and is centrally located, the rooms were clean and overall hotel in good condition. The carpet in the halls need replacing and a few other updates but overall for price it is a bargain for Savannah.

First let me say that the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was the service that killed it. Our room didn't get cleaned on the second night of our stay. Staff didn't seem too motivated to accommodate at times. Probably an okay place to stay for a night, but not beyond that.

Our first night there we had to ask for pillows but the clerk couldn't seem to be able to find any, so she gave us extra towels we had to roll up for pillows, and she was able to get back to her personal phone conversation. Our first morning we found out that our room coffee maker didn't work. It took over an hour to get a replacement. the hotel was very nice,,,, foyer,,,breakfast area,,, courtyard,,,, and room were all nice. this motel doesn't have exterior doors to the rooms so you go in and out of the lobby, which could be considered as a plus in regards to security issues. the only drawback was the fact there was no fridge,microwave or coffee pot in the room, which was very surprising […] considering how upscale the room was. there was plenty of room for them and for just a little investment, it would have made for more convenience. no other complaints!
