Well at first we were leary about staying here due to the poor reviews and we concider ourselves very picky but because it was graduation week end this was the only hotel room avaiable, sure it was under remodeling there were workers everywhere but they we nice and were gone around 5 pm. that was nice and the staff ,very friendly and we asked for an […] iron and board they said sure we'll bring one over, very friendly folks there it was very quiet and clean, we did have a great night and will stay there again and as far as the price we got the best deal in town and for those folks that gave bad reviews that had to be the reson for remodeling and new paint new carpets, so those thinking of staying there we recommend it . "Under construction!"
Half of hotel was being re-modeled, which is all good as it needed it. I think we had a newly refreshed room. Brand new paint as even the clothes would smell paint after a day! new carpet, linens etc. All good. The construction workers took up way too much space in parking lot. "What I expected in my stay"

We had asked for a non-smoking room and that is what we got, but the room and corridor outside were very smoky. We had to put a rolled up towel under the door to keep the smoke out of our room. Hotel is in the beginning process of a complete update. New mattresses were being installed. Room was typical Super 8 and very roomy and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was typical Super 8. Hotel still offers smoking rooms on certain floors and you can smell smoke in the hallways. I was upset when we first arrived and ended up having to pay a fee for our dog, even though I called ahead of time and asked about this. The guy said no, no extra fee... Annoying really. Just an overall wonderful experience. We had some issues with needing to get a room on the first floor with a refrigerator and they made it happen without question. Very friendly and helpful staff. "Nothing to see here."
Close to the freeway. That is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The whole place smelled bad. The walls and floors were so thin. Stained carpet, not so clean walls. One of the perks in staying at this motel is that quite a few of the surrounding restaurants give you 10% off your bill if you show the key card for the motel. We thought that was pretty neat.
