Overall it was a good stay, nothing too special but does what is expected. For what you pay, I think this is a quality hotel to stay at in the Fox Cities because of the convenient location.

I've stayed at this location a number of times and have nothing but good things to say. The rates are right and the rooms are large enough to accomidate our family of five. The pool is large and warm and the outside gathering area around the fire is a bonus. Shopping is right around the corner, so what more could you ask for?

I reserved a room with a double bed and a pullout couch- told them 4 people would be staying in the room. When we returned to our room later that night we went to pull out the couch to go to bed and there was a sign saying "sofa broken- do not use." We were not happy to have to move rooms at 2 in the morning. When the room was assigned and our reservation […] clearly stated 4 people, we should not have been put in a room with a broken sofa sleeper. At first thought I was going to have a nice stay. But the Internet would go out making it hard to finsh work. Called the front desk and could not get an answer on repeated occasions. The last straw was getting in the shower at around 730 to find no hot water. So I checked out and went to another hotel to finsh my trip.

Workers were friendly. Breast fast buffet was lacking. Food quality wasn't really the greatest and the selection wasn't that great. Otherwise the whole experience was pretty good.

Clean room was ready early at my request, though the pull out in the sofa was broken it didn't really affect our stay. The staff was kind and helpful and the breakfast was typical for continental fare. The breakfast area and the rest of the hotel were well kept.

nice hotel in a great location with a lot to do in a cpl miles radius, plenty of shopping and places to eat. Hotel room was spacious and very clean. The pool was especially nice to relax in!

We had tickets to the Green Bay Packer game and this hotel was very convenient. Less than 30 minutes to Lambeau Field, next to Texas Roadhouse, and close to the mall.

I think there could have been a few more options on the continental breakfast.. just eggs or waffles as the only hot items was kind of disappointing. And no bakery goods... I like my sweets.

It was a great stay and hotel. We enjoyed the pool to the point we did not want to leave!!! Totally recommend it to anyone and will forever use La Quinta Appleton for our overnight stays when in Appleton!

We booked the La Quinta Inn and Suites for my Bachelorette Party. The first room we were in smelled like smoke (we asked for non-smoking) and it had a stain on the floor. My matron of honor talked to the front desk and we had a new room within 15 minutes. The staff was wonderful and completely understanding! My wife and I stayed at this hotel from 10/15 through 10/18. When we checked into our room we found the tissues were completely empty and the shower rod had a screw missing. As I usually rely on the rod for a little bit of balance when entering or leaving the tub this was a safety issue. I notified the front desk the following morning but it was not […] fixed when we left. Monday morning I notified the front desk the dead bolt for the main door would not work. This security issue was not resolved. And when we returned to the room on Monday the room was the same way we left it that morning - beds unmade and no new towels. When I asked the front desk about this they claimed it was because I checked out that morning (I had to make two reservations) and checked back in that afternoon (I did nothing, this all happened automatically) they did not service the room. Based on their logic if a guest checks out the hotel is not obligated to clean the room for the next guest. This could have been a nice stay - the room was generally nice but the staff was not. I received a horrible impression of this hotel as soon as I tried to check in. There was an issue with the number of rooms reserved and the associated rates and the young woman at the front desk was not willing to help at all and said I was pretty much out of luck and had to contact hotels.com. I wanted to talk to a manager and all I was told was "There […] is no manager here so I can't help you." In one room, we killed two spiders. In the other room, we killed a large, hairy centipede-type creature. The bedding had spots and did not appear to be clean. There are no outlets by the mirror outside of the bathroom so if you have more than one woman trying to get ready, be prepared to wait! The previous occupants of the room next to us set the alarm to go off in the middle of the night so someone in our room had to go to the front desk to ask them to go into that room to turn it off. If you get back to the hotel around dinner time, be prepared to drive around to find a parking spot as it is right next door to a very busy Texas Roadhouse. Read more

Also, the service of the hotel is great except for this stay. We checked in at around 8 and no one at the front desk. No note, nothing, so we waited and another couple came in and we all waited.
