We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton! The staff was incredibly accommodating, kind, and responsive to our needs. When we initially arrived, our room was literally a few feet away from the elevator and, unfortunately, it was very noisy outside of the room due to a convention being in town. I called down to the front desk to inquire about a room change […] and, within minutes, a Guest Service Representative was at my room with a key to a room far away from the elevators and a gentleman offered to carry my bags to my new room. This alone would have blown me away; however throughout my stay the hotel staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the area. They had answers to all my questions and treated myself and my fiancee like we were their top priority. The Sheraton is literally feet away from the Seneca Niagara Casino and the Niagara Falls State Park too!! This will definitely be my hotel of choice for any future visits to the Falls!! Great job Sheraton at the Falls!! You've earned a lifetime customer!! Read more

Best indoor pool we've ever been to. With kids in winter this is a must for our trips. The pool was at 90 degrees, they had beach balls for us to play with in the pool. It was a big pool. This time of year is not much to see or do in Niagra Falls, american side except the casinos. Seems like the quality of hotels, restaurants and activities are on the canadian side. Food overpriced and not exceptional and hotel just average. The surrounding hotels looked worse

right across the street from seneca casino and short walk to the falls. the cost of the breakfast buffet was a bit high and was not made known to us before eating. my suggestion is to go to the casino buffet instead.

Read a lot of "iffy" reviews on this site - either they blew things out of proportion or this hotel got it's act together very nicely. The staff were BEYOND helpful and courteous - and I mean the WHOLE staff. We had a bit of trouble finding the place and the person that took our phone call was very helpful and patient. When we got there, everybody was […] all smiles and helpful. As we got into the elevator, a random cleaning staff member was exiting first and greeted us with the warmest of smiles and greetings. Beyond the friendliness, the hotel and our room was clean and comfortable - no unpleasant surprises. The pool was wonderfully maintained and even had a lifeguard on duty. Didn't go to the breakfast, so I really can't comment on that - but otherwise, I would not hesitate to stay at the Sheraton again. Read more

For the most part, the room was clean, but there were many disgusting dark stains all over the carpet!! The bathroom was very clean. We were very pleased with the proximity to the casino and the bed was very comfortable. We decided to order room service for breakfast, an omlette w/ potatoes and toast for myself and french toast for my husband. When […] it arrived, we asked to pay with a different card than the one we provided for the room. She said she would have to come back with my card. We began to eat breakfast and I noticed the toast was dry, and there were absolutely NO condiments except for sugar free syrup. We called down to the kitchen told them what we needed, and they said they would be right back. 25 MINUTES LATER, someone arrived with the condiments and my card. Needless to say, our breakfast was cold! Of course, there was no microwave in the room, so we just ate it quickly because we needed to get going. At check-out they tried charging us again for the breakfast! We explained the situation, the desk clerk left to talk to the restaurant manager, came back, said the manager would be over to talk to us, then the desk clerk disappeared into some room, never to be seen again! This hotel is walking distance from the falls and close to a lot of dining options. It has Seneca casino right in front of it. The rooms were clean and comfortable, pretty good. But the hallways seemed dirty. It looked like the carpets had not been cleaned for many years.

check in was speedy and the staff was very friendly. When we got to our room we just wanted to relax so we started watching TV and heard a dog barking in the next room. We called the front desk to complain and they asked if we wanted to move. We told them no and that the 10 other people out in the hallway were very annoyed by this barking dog also. […] After calling down 3 more times, the front desk said that they did located the owners and that they were returning to deal with the dog. Definitely not what I was expecting out of Sheraton. Stains on the carpet, bathrooms without proper plumbing. Clogging sink, slow flush without sufficient water pressure. Ill maintained standing shower edges. Shouting/Loud talking by housekeeping in the hallway. I felt like I was in a 2 star hotel.

The main issue with this hotel is that it is expensive so you feel as if you are not getting your monies worth. I expect to see better furnishings and no stains on the carpet and maybe a shuttle bus. The front desk staff was great. They let me check in early since I arrived at 8:30am and standard check in is at 4pm. The room: The desk drawer was broken […] and it kept opening up by itself, which was annoying. Now they are in the middle of renovations, in which floors and walls will be redone, so that is a good. The television was about a 40-42 in which I liked. I did not have a view of the falls but I went to the falls so I forgive them. Overall the room was ok. In addition, besides the casino that is across the street there is not really anything to do on this side of the falls. The service was good. The restaurant was ok. I had the breakfast buffet . The service is weak because they seemed to be under staff which meant the the service staff was running around very reactive verses proactive service. It made them look untidy and tired and it was only 9:30am. The staff was also young. There is a Starbucks and a Fridays in the hotel, which is good and adds to the hotel. But I do think the restaurant should be updated as well with new furniture to make it appear more upscale But I would advise anyone who reads this to stay during the week (M-Th)....its cheaper verses F-Su. This is probably one of the busiest hotels that I have ever stayed at! People arrive at all hours of the day and night. Expect lots of noise in the hallways and slamming door from all of the foreign tourists. At one point, I took the stairs bc trying to cathc an elevator was out of the question. I usually judge a hotel by comparing the condition and design of the lobby to the one of the room. in the case of this hotel the lobby is nice, maintain, clean and the room are ... not. this is my book is called fraud. carpet is dirty, internet is slow, air condition is noisy.
