This hotel is a pricesless gem. The only thing that lets it down is its managment who have NO customer service skills to speak of. Please take a lesson from your garge, waiting staf/cooks/bar staff & cleaners who make your hotel what it is. Until management or their 'can't do' attitude changes its a simple never again policy for me.

The hotel is right on Bourbon Street, but our room was quiet. Blackout shades, large comfortable beds, good quality towels. Somewhat elderly pipes, but nothing major. A little noise in the hall, but everything else was fine. Breakfast was affordable and delicious. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. Great food nearby and a concierge who's job it was to recommend restaurants and tours. Very pleasant stay. Were there on business and would certainly come back and stay again.

Located in the heart of the french quarter. Room was old and a little musty smelling, but we expected that. The hotel is in the perfect location so that you can come and go as you please throughout the day without going to far. I would recomend the property for younger couples, or those looking to stay out late. Room was loud, but once again we expected that and it was nothing a couple Hurricanes couldnt drown out. Overall, we would definetly recomend for the price and location.

My bridesmaids and I drove to NOLA for a shower/batchelorette party and wanted to stay in the French Quarter. I looked at what seemed like every hotel available and booked the Inn on Bourbon thinking the location was great and the cost was do-able. Upon arrival at 10:00 pm, the valet greeter was super upbeat and happy we were there, and the front desk associate was equally enjoyable. Our room was small but comfortable, especially since if you are staying in the French Quarter you shouldn't be spending that much time in your room. The area around it was loud and non-stop fun, just as we expected it. If you want a quiet spot, this isn't for you (our window did not shut all the way to we got a little extra street noise) but if you want a true NOLA experience I highly recommend!!!

This hotel was recently renovated and has very lovely and comfortable rooms. The service is excellent. The pool is large and open till 10pm. They have a 'buy one get one free' coupon for the bar, so we had pina coladas. Since the hotel is in the heart of the Bourbon Street action, I recommend getting a room in the courtyard. It's just a 5 minute walk to Jackson Square as well as many other clubs and restaurants.

I selected the hotel based on it's location smack dab in the center of the French Quarter. This made it easy to walk to all sections of the Quarter and we enjoyed the courteous hotel staff and the comfort of the rooms. If you are here for Mardi Gras or to throw beads from a balcony and enjoy the reverie of Bourbon Street at night, it's the perfect location. My caution is Bourbon Street itself - specifically the smell. It's a mix of booze, barf, bad colonge and sweat. If you're here to drink and party, you eventually won't notice. We avoided Bourbon Street when walking, eating and touring.

Everyone, from the front desk to the bell hops to the cleaning staff, were all professional and exceptionally friendly. The location was also perfect. It's in a great location in the French Quarter, but if you want to sleep, get a courtyard room. The rooms were supposed to all have a "refreshment center" but when I arrived I was told there were none available for my medications. The housekeeping staff has no concept of "do not disturb". Also the hotel had me checking out a day early so I had to take care of that (hotels.com was very helpful reedying that situation).

Hotel was clean and bright. Room was very comfortable with very comfy beds. We had an inside room (not facing the street) and it was very quiet. We went downstairs to find a meal at almost 10 PM and were expecting restaurants to be closed. People were streaming up and down the street and music was blasting! The quiet inside had fooled us. Parking was $28 per day and that was not noted on Hotels.com. Check out time was noon and we went out in the morning for breakfast and shopping. Upon return at 11 AM our key had been deactivated and I had to go back to the desk for activation. Apparently it is their normal practice to deactivate the cards the morning of departure %$!...does not make sense! Otherwise, it was a great experience.

You do not need a car, you can walk everywhere! Our first night there we spent enjoying the 3 for 1 drink specials at the Krazy Korner on Bourbon. The bartender Victoria is awesome!! Some meals you must try are the crab cakes at Oceana, the Ferdi at Mothers, burgers at Yo Mamma and you can not miss the Acme Oyster House and beignets at Cafe du Monde. We also took a swamp tour which was nice and relaxing. I definately would stay at this hotel again.

I recently returned from my first trip to New Orleans. I stayed at the Inn on Bourbon for 4 days. The hotel is beautiful, clean and within walking distance to anything in the french quarter. The hotel staff are extremely accommodating. When we arrived, our room was upgraded so that we could get the king size bed we requested through hotels.com but was no guaranteed with the rate that we paid. The room was great! I read several reviews prior to my stay about the noise level. The hotel was not under construction as was implied by other reviews, the building across the street was and the construction noise was not an issue. For a few hours at night, you may hear some of the music on bourbon but we had a room facing bourbon and with the tv on you couldn't hear anything. Bourbon Street is very convenient and in walking distance to anywhere you would want to see in the quarter. Many tours leave from the area and it is convenient for that as well. The area is very safe. I felt comfortable walking about by myself during the day to get a coffee etc. At night, bourbon street mainly has a young 20's crowd mainly but you will still see a range of people checking out the scene. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. I can't believe how nice it was and we got a great deal on it though hotels.com!

great location, nicely renovated, helpful staff. but for the love of god, if you want to sleep, request a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor facing the courtyard. i took a gamble, and we ended up in probably the worst room in the hotel, noise-wise. we were on the 4th floor facing bourbon street. even on a sunday night, that meant almost constant street noise. and then, at 8 a.m. sharp: pounding, sawing and thumping from renovations. REALLY LOUD. i know, duh, it's a hotel on bourbon street, in the thick of everything, but the renovation noise really put it over the top. as long as you request a quieter room, i think you'll have a nice stay. it's very clean and pleasant inside, and it's hard to beat the price. if i'd had a courtyard room, i would have loved it.
