We were a group of 13. Age 50 to 65, not kids. We went to all the sights with ease. Walking for some was a concern, but it was never a problem. Location was super. Modern yet historic feeling. You have a bakers dozen of fans.

The one and only problem we had was, with a late check-in, you must be aware of the locaction of the parking garage of the hotel. We drove and drove wwith our tom=tom telling us to do this and do that, the problem was that, Bourban St was blocked off. Just be sure you ask, if driving in, what address is of parking garage. I spent a night before my cruise at the four Points on bourbon street. the location is great for a fun filled night. My room faced the courtyard and was very quiet. There is no hotel transportation so you must use a cab or the hotel airport shuttle service. Overall a great hotel in a fantastic location.

I arrived in new orleans with my friend at 5 in the morning and the four points was the only one that would let us check in at that time. Other hotels even though they had availability wanted us to wait till noon! We got a room with a balcony facing the street which was pretty nifty. The walls in this place are the thinnest I have ever seen. You can hear people in the next room like they are sitting next to you. The ice machine two doors down was humming in our room all night. Staff in the halls are loud, they yell back and forth down the hall in the mornings. Room smelled musty and moldy all the time. No air flow.

My overall impression was tainted by the lack of concern or help when we arrived on Amtrak and called for a shuttle. I was simply informed none was available and that a cab would be my best option. The service was wonderful, everyone was super friendly, for being right on Bourbon st the rooms were amazingly roomy and clean. The only thing that was a little turn off was the aroma therapy in the lobby was a bit overwhelming. Everything else was awesome!!

I couldnt think of a better location in the French Quarter Bourbon Street. And no dont worry about the noise or the difficulty getting there. you can drive right up on Toulouse and valet from the side of the hotel. the Front door of the hotel is bourbon street. Told twice by phone that we would have adjoining rooms and balconies. We received neither and upon complaining still received neither. Wouldn't have chosen this hotel if we were told the truth about non availability of balcony and adjoining room. Hotel under constriction during our stay. Window in room painted shut. The hotel is extemely clean and well kept. When you're inside the hotel you can't tell that Bourbon St is just outside the front doors. Unless your room is on the Bourbon St side that is! This hotel was perfect for our one (1) night in New Orleans before departing on a cruise. Would definitely recommend it as well as stay there again - all though I would probably get a room that faces the courtyard (just a tad bit more privacy since the other rooms face out to Bourbon St).

Two month old staying in a hotel on Bourbon Street? Yes. Why? Well, honestly one would NEVER know that they were in the heart of Bourbon street when they enter this hotel. The rooms are quiet and they accommodate families well. (we ask for a quiet room, Free crib in room, fourth floor etc). We wanted to be CLOSE to everything in the french quarter, […] (Like super close), but didn't want to take a chance on a "trendy hotel" full of drunks 24/7. So we booked this hotel and didn't regret it for a second. Skip the rental car OR be ok with solid high security 24/7 access valet parking for + $30 for 24 hours. (Not a bad deal for a very high security parking area). Overall, we left the car in the hotel valet and walked everywhere including over to the garden district to stroll through a few galleries. Please note that there are some instances where Bourbon street can "close" for big nights etc. - We strolled right through the crowd to the sanctuary of this wonderful hotel. Great staff and historic building. Again, it was SUPER close to everything so we could return to drop off shopping bags, take time to feed the little one, and take a break anytime we wanted. This hotel is four blocks from Jackson Square and two blocks from the GUMBO Shop and other major NOLA FQ land marks. Also, super cool pool in the quart yard area. Read more

The hotel is located right on Bourbon St. We got an upgrade to a balcony room overlooking Bourbon St. It was fun to watch the goings on down below. It does get very noisy though, so if you expect to get some sleep at night, this might not be a place for you. Everything was within walking distance. Canal St and the River was about 5-10 min walk away. […] We even walked to the Superdome - about 20-30 min walk. We decided at the last minute to see the Saints game. Pros: Excellent location. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast/service A+. Pool refreshing/clean. Staff curteous and helpful. Extended our check-out to 1 hour. Cons: Lousy view of parking lot (asked in advance for a balcony), checked into a room (with Bourbon Street window view) with a toilet problem (making noise) (maid in hallway […] said it had been doing that since early morning) and had to be moved to a another room. We enjoyed our stay with a few exceptions. Our room was not available when we arrived (after posted check-in) and the room they put us in smelled musty and like fish. We let it go because of how croweded the hotel was that day. However, our air conditioning went out and it was extremely hot. We weren't able to get it fixed until the following day. There […] also was some "unsavory" people staying in the room next to ours that was CONDUCTING business between a female and what sounded like several men. This kept us up from around 3:30a.m. until 6:30a.m. We didn't contact management out of fear of any retaliation from the people in the room in question.
