We have stayed here a couple of times. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are always clean, and our son loves the pool and we love the hot tub. The whole hotel is pet friendly, which is a gem to find especially for those of us with calm, sweet dogs that enjoy getting to come along.

Close to skiing, clean, reasonably priced, restaurants close by. The only problem was the room with the pool was a little cool, but the hot tub kept us warm. Lots of friendly dogs there when we were there.

My sister and I wanted an inexpensive place to stay overnight to get our last weekend of skiing for the season. Laquita offered the best price and the location was perfect. Half hr drive to Vail and less than 20 mts to Keystone and Arapahoe Basin. Then enjoyed some shopping at the outlet mall. It was a fun weekend!

Great time with few comments. Room was very hot. Memory mattress was extremely hot. Pool was kinda gnarly but I wouldn't expect more for such a highly used one. Otherwise, great stay.

Our room was very clean, considering it was a "pet room". The hotel was very pet and family friendly. We enjoyed the hotel bar and restaurant, as we'll as the breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Our room was excessively warm when outside temps were in the 30s/40s. There was a portable air conditioning unit in our room that did not work properly, it blew out cooler air, but didnt cool off room at all. We couldnt leave window open, it had no screen & our room was above the Old Chicago resturant so we didnt want creatures coming in if there were […] any. Uncomfortable to sleep in that room. We stayed on Tues/Wed during a slow week-ski trip. I'll start with the good stuff- The price was reasonable. The staff was very nice and professional on every level. They made you feel like your business was important to them. If I do choose to stay here it would be because the staff was fantastic. The lobby and breakfast area is really nice. You can […] tell it was remodeled recently and it flows very well. The Old C's attached is a huge plus and convenient. The pool is small and average at best but the kids enjoyed it. Now on to the bad. The hot tub area was disgusting. The water was brown. The walls around the area had giant balls of hair and dried funk on all 3 walls. We stayed on the 2nd floor, RM 209. Avoid this area if you choose to stay here. You can't control the temperature in your room at all it was almost 85+ degrees on one side of the room towards the hallway and the window side was closer to 70. The floors felt like they were about 85-90 degree's. The temp swings were crazy! Next was the mechanical noise, it was unbearable. I can sleep through most things, but this was surprisingly difficult. I assume we were near either the mechanical or laundry room as it sounded like a large commercial dryer thumping and vibrating the room non stop. I would again assume that the mechanical noise was also the source of the temperature issues. Needless to say none the family slept much at all. I would ask to stay on the top floor next time and toward the end of the building. Read more

We came from Colorado Springs to get some spring skiing in and were happy with our stay and La Quinta and would recommend this hotel. Checkin was hassle free. We ate at Old C's downstairs after using one of their luggage carts and 2 elevators to haul all the ski stuff. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food good and the location convenient. […] The pool area was pleasant and there were enough towels available for the after dinner crowd. The kids and I thought the pool and hot tub were kept at a perfect temperature. The beds were comfortable and our room had a microwave and fridge. Breakfast was typical no frills (waffles, cereal, muffins, fruit...) and became cramped but there is plenty of other seating in the lobby and surrounding areas. Read more

We were pleased with our choice to stay here. The hotel was clean and conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and a quick trip to most of the ski resorts in the area. I would recommend for families trying to keep costs down. The attached pizza place was unremarkable.

The room we stayed in was nice, but there was an odd smell. It smelled like they previously had allowed smoking in the room and were having difficulty covering up the smell. The room was clean, the pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast is very busy on the weekends during skiing season.

I was unaware it was a pet friendly hotel so my allergies did not fair well, but after a couple pills it was ok. The staff was great, but the one major negative was the bed. I have never slept in a bed that hard in my life. I woke up with the worst pain in my back. Would be great if they would work on that.

If you want to avoid I-70 nonsense in the AM this seems to be the way. Amazing that people who live in Denver area have to resort to getting a hotel room so they can get their kids to ski school on-time...or leave at 5 in the morning I suppose. I needed an overnight stay while I was "slumming" through central Colorado to ski. I found this place on Hotels.com and the price and location were right. The room was super-comfortable with a couch, microwave, referigerator and a fantastic view. Bed was comfortable w/ great linens etc. The bathroom was also well-appointed. Who cares, it was only me […] right? Still it was a nice touch. The guy at the front desk Jaron was super-accomdating/friendly. We exchanged ski stories and they offered a great tip for room service - Old Chicago. The restaurant delivered to my room. They are on premises. The food was good. No weaknesses I could measure. I headed toward A-Basin the next morning (about 10 miles away). Could have just as easily been in Copper Mountain - 25 mnutes - Breck- 30 minutes - Keystone- 20 minutes or Vail. For one of the best rates in summit county we stayed here two nights. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Bathroom was a little small, but a great stay for the price.
