When I booked this hotel, I didn't expect a whole lot from this hotel because it was so cheap. But after staying there for the entirety of my trip, I have to say that it was the best value for my buck. The hotel is conveniently located in District 1 right next to Binh Thanh Market. It's location makes it convenient to walk to all the tourist sites such as he War Museum and the Reunification center. The service was great and I would defiitely stay there the next time I go.

Rooms are very nice and roomy, and good location. They could improve on their service and maintenance. The phone did not work in my colleague's room which was inconvenient for wake up calls, etc. My room had the vanity light burned out. Also, had trouble with my key card and they were very slow in responding. Breakfast was okay, but had much better at other hotel we stayed at earlier in our stay. I do like their rooms so would probably give them another chance and hope that the service/maintenance issues were a one time thing.

I like the hotel. Breakfast was good . Had some new dishes everyday. The hotel was convenient to all. Fleas market is only two blocks away . Good to by some souvenir t-shirts. Make sure you bargain, t-shirt average price is 90 dong. The foot massage was good. You can print your email at the business computer and pick it up at the receptionist desk. The only thing is that they could not scan my document but that is a lot to ask for. Overall, I like it and would stay here again.

It was a great value given the price and condition of the hotel. The hotel is quite small, but it is very clean. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Very close to Ben Thanh Market, only a few blocks away.
Location.
Located in a business district, this city-center Ho Chi Minh City hotel rises 21 stories along the Saigon River. Ho Chi Minh City Hall is 0.7 km (0.4 mi) from the hotel. Reunification Palace, Ho Chi Minh City Museum, Ben Thanh Market, and Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica are all within 1.6 km (1 mi) of Renaissance Saigon Riverside. The Dong Khoi Shopping Centre is also nearby.
Hotel Features.

"Great Romantic Spot"
Renaissance Riverside was recommended to me and I would recommend to others. It is a little out of Hoi-An, but there is a convenient hotel shuttle in to town. The staff are excellent, and cheerfully set up any transport needs and tours to local sights. Dinners were great. One tip that we accidentally found out about (the hotel should publicize it more!) "Renaissance Saigon Riverside Hotel"
This hotel has very clean and very comfortable rooms. The hotel staff was accomodating and friendly. Overall great hotel and staff.

Excellent hotel. Very nice river view. Some noise from the street, but tolerable. Adequate exercise room, but no elliptical.

we just came back fr saigon on 31st aug 09. we reach the renaissance river side at about 4pm and was greet with some friendly staff ,the staff that serve us was very friendly and kind enough to offer us an extra bed w/o extra charges because I'm bring my son along.we get the room on the 8th flr facing the city. to our surprise it was so quite that we […] can't hear the traffic outside because in hcmc city the traffic is very bad and honk can be hear everywhere.the room was very clean and the bed is comfy with lots of pillow.we forget to pack our tooth brush so we just call the room service and within min they sent us some tooth brushes.though out our stay at this hotel we feel that is worth the money we pay.i will stay here again if i come to hcmc in the future. "Good for a few days"
The Renaissance Riverside is a comfortable hotel in a central location. We had a corner room, which was very spacious, with city views, which we requested (the river view is disappointing, as the river is very scruffy). The breakfast were excellent, and, as we were on a spring promotion, we had a free dim sum lunch in the Kabin restaurant. The best […] dim sum we have ever eaten! The rooftop pool is small and unpersonal, Not enough greenery and not enough sunbeds. The Renaissance is a large hotel, which is normally not our first choice. This is a good quality hotel close to shopping, restaurants and cultural areas. The price is higher than other hotels but is justified.

My daughter and I stayed at Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon for 1 night just as transit from another location in Vietnam before going back. Although the stay was very short, it was a comfortable and pleasant one with the help of the professional services including the concierge who gave us advice on shopping and local food places. "5stars but need renovation"
We got a big riverview room. The room is clean and the service is good. The morning buffet is excellent and the the service is good. However, the hotel is a bit dated and need some major renovation.

"リバーサイドホテルとして、好立地！"
リバーサイドの部屋で眺めも最高。プールも最上階のオープンスペース。スポーツジムも充実。ホスピタリティも完璧。朝食も、さまざまな種類があり、一部日替わりにもなっていて飽きない。フォーもあった。繁華街にも徒歩圏内。研修生の山下さん 頑張ってください。流石、ルネッサンスホテル。
"リバービューのクラブルームは居心地最高"
クラブフロアを最大限活用することができたので，食事とインターネット利用などの面で，大変快適な５日間が過ごせました。ベトナムなど暑い地域の食事・水は，いつも気を使うのですが，クラブルームにいけば，朝食や夕方の軽食はもちろんのこと，２４時間中，フルーツや食べ物は何か供されているので，１人で，レストランや食堂にいくのはちょっと億劫だなというときにはとても助かりました。ビールがとても大好きな私ですが，ベトナムではビールは，アルコール飲料と考えていないようで，ほぼ１日中クラブルームの冷蔵庫に入っていたので大満足でした。 ホテルロケーションは，川沿いなので，リバービューの部屋は，景色がとてもよく，ぼーっつと何時間も，フェリーから出てくる人の姿を眺めて楽しんでいました。川沿いでありながら，ドンコイ通りな […] どの観光客どおりにも近く，喧騒と少しの静けさを両方楽しめる場所です。 チェックアウト時間は，通常１２：００なのですが，申し出により，＄５０(ＵＳＤ)を払うことで，夕方６：００のレイトチェエクアウトが可能でした。また，その後も，出発時刻まで（午前零時まで），クラブルームを使うことができ，クラブルームのサービス（食べ物・インターネット等）を受けることができました。 帰国便が，ＪＡＬの夜中便（２３：４０発）であったので，このレイトチェックアウトのシステムが使えたことは，とてもよかったと思います。 このホテルを拠点として，ホテルライフを楽しみながら，日帰りの観光・ツアーに参加するというスタイルは，オススメです！ ホテル近くには，ＪＴＢの現地ツアー会社もありますので，安心です。 あと，クラブフロアーには，日本人のフロントのおねえさんもいらっしゃいました。 Read more
