We stayed at the hotel for my daughter's school trip. Enjoyed the breakfast (biscuits and gravy is a plus!)--wish you offered skim milk. Enjoyed the King/pull out bed room. It was great to have two TVs! The rooms were a bit dry--a cool air humidifier would be nice in each room. Nonetheless, we had a nice time! Thank you!

If you are looking for a hotel close to Fort Jackson at a reasonable price this did the trick. It was about a 5-10 min drive to the base and the hotel is right off the highway and easy to find. The rooms were bigger than average and clean enough. The toilet seat could have been replaced and the windows washed better, but all in all it was a great place for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing is if you go when it's cold, you will not want to use the "indoor" pool. It is enclosed, but there are 2 doors on each side that do not close, so you get gusts of the cold air inside the pool enclosure. That was another downfall. I would stay here again though.

The stay at Suites was quite lovely, since they had room we were upgraded to a penthouse...which gave my daughter and I comfortable space to operate out of. Their breakfast was awesome with lots of choices. Our stated purpose was to tour USC and the hotel was 7 min, away..very easy to access. recommend!!

This is not a new TownePlace by Marriott, but it sure was nice. We had a pet friendly room and it was clean and smelled great.. I was really pleased to get such a great deal at a nice place - the location was excellent (not in downtown so the traffic wasn't too bad, but right in shopping/dining district) and the room was very comfortable and well-maintained. It was well-stocked with everything we needed and the bed was SOOOOO comfortable. The shower was particularly nice - not […] too weak or too strong and just the right temp (never had a hard time getting hot water). The service was excellent, with responsive front-desk staff who were very friendly. My only minor complaint is in regards to the free breakfast - the breakfast area is SUPER cramped when there are more than two or three people in it. It got very claustrophobic and I had to eventually take my food back up to my room - once you get a family in there with a couple of kids, you can't move or hear yourself think. Other than that, the food options were good and the staff person manning the area was quick to refill things and clean up after guests. We will DEFINITELY stay at this hotel again! Read more

Overall, it is a basic hotel room with a very small kitchen. We have a 2 year old and having a refrigerator and oven came in handy for quick meals. The staff were friendly and we would consider staying there again.
