We had a great stay at Paris. We were in and out of Vegas in less than 18 hours and Paris was a GREAT place for us to stay. It was right on the strip, great location, quick in and a nice room. "Worst and racist customer service"
The room had a very large gross wet spot on the carpet. The concierge fought us after we had already unpacked all of our stuff. They finally agree to comp us two of our resort fees and bring us free waters. The free waters never show. At check out, Sandy gives me a bill which has no resort fees comped. I ask her why and she states because of internet. […] I state that internet is included in the resort fees. She becomes condescending and states I didn’t read the fine print and we have three people in our room as three devices were used. We had two phones and a computer and I state this was not because we had three people. I read the fine print and it stated that all internet is under resort fees. She then states I don’t understand things going on behind the scenes and starts shaking the paper with the internet costs at me. She then points to two Asian women far in the casino and states obviously I have three people. I’m a halfie and this was the rudest comment made. They were clearly not with me other than the fact that they were Asian! I call my nonAsian friend from the valet because Sandy does not believe that the two aren’t with me. A manager then steps in and states that I was comped the bill and all internet is included in the resort fees and printed me out my actual bill which was what I had initially expecting. I ask what bill Sandy gave me and he states he honestly does not know. I’ve never been treated this way and I will never stay here again because of this treatment. I have stayed in many hotels on the strip the view from the room was the only thing worth writing home about the room was to come with a hot tub that I could barley lay in the room must of had a plumbing issue at sometime bc the walls in both bathrooms had many patch jobs. I was very disappointed in the way we were greeted at the hotel.It was bad enough that our plan was an 1 1/2hrs late.Instead of being greeted and welcomed and directed where to go to check in.We had a women ask if we wanted to try to win something and then to buy tickets for shows.That was the biggest turn off.When people get off a plane.have to take […] a shuttle to the hotel.People want to check in and go to their rooms to drop their luggage off and then start checking out the sites.The other thing is we didn't get a map of the strip.Nor did we get a map or direction of what was in the hotel.If we had to ask what direction to go or where to find something.There was never anybody around.several times we asked maintenance people where things were.this was another turn off.If there could be an information booth with pamphlets or someone to direct people that would of been such a great help.we spent so much wasted time spent looking for stuff.We had no clue that there was a fitness room or spa or even some of the restaurants and shops towards the other end of the Hotel,I love the looks of the inside of the hotel.But without good hospitality and direction.Our stay was not a very good experience.I was very disappointed. We have stayed at The Paris Las Vegas several times--- always returning because of the great central location and the amazing restaurant Mon Ami Gabi! Upon arrival, we were told our room wasn't ready but we could upgrade to a room that was ready--- well, We did upgrade- but not really worth it, given the 'tired condition' of the room... the best part […] of the upgrade was the lovely woman who took care of our room each day! Hotel staff typically don't interact much with guests - but she was kind, friendly and always had a welcome smile and happy hello when she saw us! Our room - on the 14th floor overlooked the pool and the strip - with a view of the Bellagio fountains and the "Eiffel Tower". We had heard that some rooms have been renovated...the carpets and furniture in our 'upgraded room' were showing wear and tear. Basic WiFi is 'free' but you pay a daily resort fee... which includes access to the gym which my partner likes to use. We like the location of The Paris--- central to all other casinos. the bus lines, shopping and restaurants. If you stay here --- treat yourself to breakfast (or lunch or dinner) at Mon Ami Gabi--- you will feel like you are in Paris - especially if you sit outside on the terrace overlooking the fountains at the Bellagio. Room was old and dingy. Carpet was in poor condition. Cold showers, no hot water at all. Room was hot. Told the front desk clerk when checking out abt the cold shower... She replied with "what room # were you in?" When I gave the rm # she said,"how would you like to pay for your resort fee?" She didnt offer an apologie... Nice hotel with a fun Paris theme and feel. If you have a pool view room you will be woken up about 730am to a leaf blower and staff cleaning the pool area. The shockingly poor service I experienced at this hotel overshadowed the condition of the room and location (which were both good). I was horrified at how The Paris Hotel treated their guests, how I was spoken to on the phone, the lack of communication about the closed facilities, and how long they require you to wait at check-in (1 hour-no exaggeration). […] Due to the location they don't mind losing customers due to terrible service, assuming more will just come in the door. I felt like cattle while staying at this hotel, rather than a "guest". There are plenty hotels on the strip to choose from. For an enjoyable experience, pick another one that understands how to treat their customers. The Chinese Restaurant food was way overpriced. Seemed like they bought the spring roles from the frozen section of K-mart. Hotel charged $35 per day amenities fee for access to the spa, free wifi and the pool. However the spa was for adults only so my son couldn't use which effectively meant neither could I. Stayed here for a business trip. Let's start with the good. The gal at check in was very nice and extremely efficient. The Mon Ami Gabby restaurant was very good. The express coffee service was quick. Not as quick as having a coffee maker in the room though.(which they did NOT have) Now for the rest. The place is dated and not been very well maintained. […] The room has dingy and I found long black hair in the bathroom. The in room safe did not work. They were supposed to fix it but never did. Other than check in and the restaurant(very good service) the rest of the service stunk. Check in and check out lines were a fiasco. Super noisy. The rate was good, but the resort fee is excessive for what nothing you get for it. It's also on the wrong side of the street. It looks close, but it's a hassle getting anywhere and the taxi lines took forever. You also can't just cross the street as they have limited cross walks. I can't recommend this hotel in good faith.
