The hotel was very nice and the staff was extremely courteous. Our room was not the one I had booked online. I booked a 2 bdrm suite and we were given a 1 bdrm suite. The staff was able to move us to the correct room. However, we had to pay an additional $20 for the upgrade. The staff apologized for the problem and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good and had a large variety of items.

Convenient to Philips Arena...good restaurants. Room initially didn't have a good view...but air didn't work & it was going to be another hour toget it going. They gave us another room with a view of centennial park & free breakfast buffet for the inconvenience ....great service! The double beds were really small & not comfortable...that was the only negative.

Overall a good experience; however, the shower pressure was terrible and there was no hot water (water temp was room temp at best). Also, there were no shower towels available on our last day
"No coffee!"
I wake up early. I was told to wait for the restaurant to open at 6. I had to go across the driveway to another hotel that has coffee in the lobby at 5am. parking fee is outrageous. $25.00 per night. rooms are very small. you must pay for internet. water pressure from the shower was just a trickle. "Dumb parking"
Paying for parking is awful. The parking garage was open the entire time so paying to park over there was not reasonable. Anybody can go in and out without paying.
"Bad need of refurbishing"
For the price I paid, I was very dissatisfied with the room. I requested a king when I booked a month in advance, but did not get one, the room I was in had huge stains on the carpet and furniture (appeared to be wine stains), the TV was an old tube type, and the room was very small. Would not stay there again.

Location was great....staff wasnt very professional or nice...the doubletree in cobb near the cumberland mall is a better hotel...will stay there next visit to atlanta

I was most impressed with the Hotel staff. Recognition when I arrived, helpfulness of your reception personnel , your van driver etc. Would definately return and recommend
"Good price, lacking in areas"
Got this at a good price on priceline.com (under 100/nt). The free shuttle around Buckhead was nice though I was a bit disappointed on one of our trips as we had to call the front desk 3 times to get the shuttle to us. They cleaned our room at 5:45pm one of the nights we were there, and another night we stopped back at 4:00pm and it was not cleaned […] yet. So not sure when it was actually cleaned. The hotel ran out of towels 2 times. We had to call both times to get new towels. 1 of the times we had to wait until they got a new load out of the laundry. Staff was very friendly and overall it was a good stay. Just a few small things that dont seem like they should happen, hope they get it figured out. Read more

"If your going to Atlanta"
This lovely hotel is located right off of Peachtree, but set in a peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The staff was wonderful and very helpful to these two out of towners.

Great staff, great location and a comfortable room. I did not stay there to watch television, but it had an old style TV. A hotel like this should have HD TV. Parking was also on the steep side.

A friend and I had a girl's get-away for 2 nights at this wonderful hotel. Our warm welcome and over-the-top customer service couldn't have been better. We asked for a room facing the front so we wouldn't have the parking ramp view, which we would recommend. But the room was so very inviting and the beds so incredible, we were content to just have room […] service breakfast and spend the morning in our pajamas! Free shuttle service to a 3 mile area was great. There are lovely places to eat within walking distance and the hotel has wonderful food, as well. Loyal customers were made this weekend! Read more
"Nevr Stay Here"
This hotel is a joke, went to check-in at 5P.M. was told to go for a walk and come back in an hour. I had just arrived from a flight from Rome so that was an issue also no bellman at arrival or departure another bad taste had ask for an upper floor room was given first floor because the elevators were not working (they were just like the staff) which […] watched me carrying my bags I might add the lobby manager/greeter saw the whole thing and also offered no assistance. The front desk staff could not give me a key because the only one who could do it was not responding to the page that toke another 25 minutes to get into my room.I was given several drink tickets to make a recovery but when I said I did not drink they were at a loss on what to do. "Great staff, wonderful experience"
The enitre staff was very attentive to our needs and very cordial. The room was nicely updated and clean. The environment was very quiet. The location was great and allowed us easy access to the major highways. The only negative thing I can say is that I wasn't aware of a fee for parking. "True Buckhead Bargain"
Shuttle service was excellent from the Marta station as well as to 2 of the nicest malls in Atlanta; Phipps and Lenox. Movie theatres at both malls. All types and price ranges of eateries you could ask for all around you at this hotel. This is a great spot. I hope it's not full on my next trip to Atlanta after my great review!!!

"No Shampoo"
The positives: 1. Hotel valet staff very friendly. 2. Warm cookie was always good. Negatives: 1. Hotel ran out of shampoo during our stay. 2. Evidently Hilton Honors members at less than the gold level do not get free Internet.

"Big Grace recommends-close To Lenox Mall"
A friend and I were traveling to a weekend game at the Georgia Dome, we didnt want to stay in downtown and were pleasantly surprised with our stay in Buckhead,GA. Rooms were clean, only thing is we had to keep asking for towels because there werent enough in the room, we had to take a few showers due to the abnormal heat wave in GA this particular weekend. "Best Value"
It may not be true for any other day but this hotel gave me the best price, when I looked at all the other options in terms quality and convenience. I was coming from a five hour drive and they let me check in as soon as I got here that morning. This helped me get the rest I needed before an appointment..

This is a great find. We were travelling with our 2 beagles and booked this hotel, and what a treat it was. Anyone with dogs knows that most hotels taking dogs are pretty basic but this hotel was a cut above anything we have stayed in with our pets. They do have a fee but it was worth every penny to have comfy beds, clean rooms and super helpful staff. […] Oh, and the free hot cookies were enjoyed by all (dogs included). "Needs Maintenance"
Cons - Broken refrigerator, holes in bed-sheets, dust on the coffee cup lids, blood in the elevator (not cleaned for 3 days) and extremely slow front desk service - to name a few. Pros - Cleaning ladies and restaurant personnel - absolutely awesome!

I was overall pleased with me stay at the Doubletree in Buckhead. The sign for the hotel can be easily missed. Excellent hotel, great service from all staff, starting with the valet service and the front desk staff. Forgot my GPS in the car, valet guy brought it to my room door, front desk checked me in extremely friendly. Room was very comfortable, great bed, simply Hilton quality.

"DoubleTree - Buckhead"
I visited the front desk on three occasions during my stay. Every time, the employees behind the desk pretended not to notice my presence for at least thirty seconds. The first desk employee said he'd be right back and never returned. The second one who actually processed our check-in was nice, but when I asked him where I could park (I didn't want […] to use the valet) he said, "Just give it to the valet." He failed to mention that if I used the valet, $25 would be charged to my room. The valet (Yusef) was very helpful and agreed to tell the front desk to bring that rate down to $10 since they didn't tell me that it would be $25. The room was clean, but everything was damp. Nice hotel, with a lot of close by places to eat. The staff was extremely nice from the front desk to the servers in the bar. Only complaint was the $25 a day for overnight parking. Come on really, $25 bucks!

The Buckhead doubletree hotel is everything you would want in a hotel. It's well run, very clean, the people were nice and the area is good.

One of my most pleasant stays...gorgeous tree-lined streets, yet close to bars, restaurants, Marta line...Hotel staff was very informative about area, attractions, etc. Very pleased, and will highly recommend this hotel!
