I surprised my wife with our 1st weekend getaway since our 3rd child was born. This was also our anniversary. The room was great.. It overlooked the beach. She was very happy with the room. I requested that a bottle of wine be in our room upon our arrival. It was there with a nice Happy Anniversary card. The room was neat and clean. The room was nothing […] fancy but very good for a getaway. There was plenty to do there. The hotel shop and restaurant were a bit pricy but there was a local Liquor or store and restaurants that were close. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and we look forward to getting back there soon. Read more

We enjoyed a nice corner room. We arrived to find there would be a concert on the beach, a classic car show and a Go Cart race track was set up. Regretfully we only stayed the one night due to my daughters gymnastics competition but we did enjoy some of the concert. We thourghly enjoyed our three night stay at this hotel, we had a beautiful, large suite for the price of a regular room in most hotels/motels. It's situated immediately on a long/wide white sand beach,the grounds, staff & service were exceptional. I would reccomend this hotel in a heart beat & would love to return there again for a longer stay.

Bathroom is terrible, closet doors had to be removed because they would not slide back and forth in the tracks. Remote for one T.V. would not work. Furniture in the room is 1960's. No silverware in the kitchen. Their web site states that parking is included in the room costs. It is NOT, they charge $8.00 a night to self park and you do not find this […] out until you go check in, and they spring that news on you. Drinks at the bars are costly. $8.00 for domestic beer in a can. The only thing that makes this hotel a possibility is it,s access to the beach and the pools. I will not stay here again. Read more

The best thing about this resort is that it sits right on the beach and it has three pools as well. The on site restaurants are OK but walk down the street for better food. Know that you will pay for extras like parking and cabana rental but most of these resorts have these charges. Our room was nice typical of a Mariott or Holiday Inn but the bathroom […] was surprisingly small and old. We paid extra for a beachfront room and I was surprised that the bathroom had not been updated. The housekeeping was OK but they didn't really clean. They straightened up. Resort staff was very friendly throughout the resort. I would recommend this to a couple or family looking for a solid basic value but I would try another resort for comparison in the future. Initial impression of the 1st room was good, until we found the big wet spot in the carpet. Several neighboring rooms with loud, partying people kept us up until 2:30am. The next day management moved us to an upgraded suite in a different building. Things were looking great until we went to bed the 2nd night and screaming kids running down the hallway […] at 11:30pm and other loud, partying people on that floor kept us up until nearly 1am. Overall impression of the hotel and staff is good. The beach is great and there are a lot of good things to see around there, but it does appear to be a big party spot. This is a wonderful hotel that is a throw back to Old Florida charm and personality with all of the modern amenities. The property is well maintained and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. The bars were fun and the prices weren't too high. This felt like a time warp to the 80s. The room STUNK like smoke, despite that it is a smoke-free hotel. The carpet and walls were old-looking (obvious paint covering old wallpaper.) Employees were awesome. They were all some of the friendless people you will meet. The room was falling apart. Closet door and dresser draws were broken. The part that bothered me was that they charge you $8 a day for parking your car at the hotel.

We thought the Sirata was a wonderful choice. They have many amenities for the young and old. The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We felt it is the best around St. Pete Beach. The food and drinks were very good and they did not rip you off on pricing. We will go back as it was very relaxing, we didn't even need a car. There are stores […] within walking distance and they have taxi and bus service if you decide to leave the Resort. The rooms were nice, not extremely modern but they were clean. Nice hotel. We only stayed over night for a wedding but it seemed like a great place to stay if you were to take a vacation. Had everything for the whole family. The hotel is lovely. We were there for a wedding and it was beautiful. The room was great (clean, spacious, etc.) The only problems were 1) that the parking is limited and you have to pay for even the first car and may not be able to have space for a second car and 2) that there was a security guard (Clint I believe) who was rude to members of the wedding […] party . The hotel grounds was very nice. We loved the beach & pool area. When we first arrived @ 2:00 P.M. we were told our room wasn't ready. I had called a week before to see if we could arrive before 3:00 P.M. & I was told no problem!! If the room is ready you can check in! We didn't get the room until 3:25 P.M. So, until then we went to Harry's to have […] a drink & see the beach.We sat at a table for over 20 minutes & no one came to wait on us, my husband went to the bar himself to get our drinks. The place was not even busy. So that didn't start our stay off to well either. We also weren't happy about not having a balcony to sit out on when that was something we were looking forward to, they could not promise one to us they said. (even though I booked a king suite weeks before) We also didn't care for the bedroom being the first room you enter into. The noise from people walking & talking, doors opening & closing while your trying to sleep was disturbing.I usually don't complain but this was our 30th Wedding Anniversary & was hoping that our experience would of been better than what it was. Not sure that we would go back. They told us that they are remodeling so we will see......They should have a "not sure" or a maybe for recommending this hotel. Everyone was friendly & helpful. The view from the balcony outside the room was breath taking at sun rise and sun set. It was wonderful to walk across the beautiful, clean, well-kept pool area and right out on to the beach and memorable to lie in the hammock provided and watch the moon rise. It was nice to have a freezer in the refrigerator! The room […] was clean if one didn't check the base boards and corners. Two out of three mornings a paper was delivered to the room. I would have appreciated having the check out paper work delivered to the room on the day of departure, which didn't didn't happen. The signage in the hallways could be improved by moving them closer to where the appropriate turns are to be made to find one's room or adding additional signs at the end of the hall. Until one gets used to it, it's easy to find oneself facing a vending machine. I had to move furniture & then get on my knees to plug in my apnea machine. The multi-plug had been fixed to the wall, out of sight, beneath an extension in the wall behind the night stand. Very annoying. It took a lot of muscle to move the bed spreads. They weighed a ton and were too heavy to sleep under. There's no way they are cleaned often. The pillows were long passed their prime. The wands intended to move the drapes were disconnected from the drapes. It was necessary to use a hair clip to keep the curtains closed in order to darken the room. Enjoyed every aspect of the hotel, from the nearness of the beach, to the two pools and hot tub. Harry's was outstanding, and so was Rum Runners. We really had a great time. Will be back asap.

Great location. decor,furniture and bathrooms need upgrading. Very friendly staff. Restaurants menu are very limited and overpriced. The beach is beautiful and the hotel grounds are kept very clean. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. The beach front room was on the second floor and on the left side. This location was close to the bar and grill and easy access to the beach and pool. The balcony view was perfect.

The resort was well kept and staff was very friendly. The hotel room was a bit out of date and I hadn't noticed when booking it that there is a daily charge for using a parking spot. but with the price we spent to be on the beach sand, I was very happy with that choice.

We had a wonderful experience there. When we arrived, I requested a VIP upgrade to a higher class room, they were unable to do it because the Hotel was full but they gave me free parking( it cost $8.00 per day), free internet and free Beach cabana rentals for the whole length of our stay. I requested a king size bed beach front room when i made the […] reservation in Expedia but the first room I got was a two double beds and yes, It was a beach front room but on the first floor and my beach front view was a sand dune and palm trees, then I came back to the front desk and asked like a favor If they could find a better room. They were very helpful and changed the room for another in the 2nd floor beach front. That room had a few glitches, for example, the closet door frame was loose from the mirror and the bathroom was very small. That was the only bat thing about our stay, the rest was fantastic. The staff service was superb and the Hotel in general was excellent. Great beach and pool too. Read more
